i bought my homecoming dress today and the way the straps are they show off my tan lines on my shoulders and on my back a lil. so i was gonna get that lotion you put on your skin that tans you. what is a kind that works really good and has a nice color to it?
A kind that works really well for me is called Touch of Sun by Olay, try it. You can pick it up at any Walgreens or CVS. You could also try Neutrogena Build-A-Tan, I heard that also works really well.
do you have any suggestions on where to get any headbands and cute necklaces?
Well I have a few places that I know of that have some nice stuff, Walmart has nice headbands, also you could try Sears or Macy's. A good place to find cute necklaces would be Claire's or a more expensive place like Zales or Kay Jewelers.
i am trying to find a cute messenger bag/shoulder bag for school but one thats large enough to hold a couple of books and binders (2" binders)
i am looking for one thats either red or green cuordouroy (dont no how to spell it) or one thats kind of asian looking, japanese fashion style. Something thats cute lol

okay so theres this guy, his name is joe and hes really cool. he is 2 years older then me. he is friends with one of my older friends, and he has dated her before. i kinda like him, and i keep getting these weird "signals"..

Idk, sounds to me like he likes you and is just too afraid to ask you out, which is why his friend IMed you like that. I would wait and see if things happen and if they don't, ask him out or have someone else do it for you.
ho do i find out what the right bra fit is for me, i mean i can practically fit into anything up to a small c so im not really sure what is right, im 15 and skinnyish if that help, oh and is theer a way to measure yourslef to find out?
To measure yourself all you need to do is take a measuring tape and measure your bust (meaning around your body and over your breasts), that measurement would probably be a little bit bigger than what you need, so instead measure below your breasts and then whatever your cup size is, that's the size bra you need. Also there's a store called Lady Grace and if you go there they can measure for you and find the perfect fitted bra, or Victoria's Secret can measure you also. Hope I helped :)

14/f. okay in the past month or so i've noticed that in the back of my head there is this spot of hair that is very oily. it is right in the back of my head all the way at the top by my scalp. it is very annoying and it actually LOOKS oily. so here are my questions:
1) what is it??
2) how do i get rid of it??

I would try using a different shampoo & conditioner, I suggest using Herbal Essences (smells good and is really good for your hair) also you can get a different product for whatever your hair type is. I think the oily spot is just from not rinsing your hair out enough after shampooing and/or conditioning because then the products are left in your hair until the next time you wash it. Also try showering more often because that can lower the amount of oil, but the thing is your hair needs essential oils for it to be healthy otherwise it dries out, which is why I shower my hair every other day. i need help putting a picture on my collumn please HELP me!
Okay so first you upload a picture of you onto the computer, do this by plugging in your camera to the computer (if you haven't already) then something should pop up on your screen and it'll tell you what to do from there.
After that, logg onto Advicenators and click on Profile Settings, scroll down to where it says Part III. Then somewhere there it should say upload a picture of you, next to it click browse... and from there look for your picture wherever you uploaded it to, usually it'll be under My Pictures. Then double click on the picture and it'll automatically put the URL in where it needs to be. Then scroll down a bit more and click Submit under Part V, otherwise it won't save the picture. If you want to see the pic afterwards just click on the link to your advice column. Good luck.
ok basically my school lunches are horrible. they serve pizza & bagels every day. their salad is watery & brown. you get my point. i need ideas for lunches to pack. i was thinking of either pb & j with fruit, but obviously i don't want that every day. anything that would be good?? just remember-- it will be sitting in my locker [i can use ice packs] & also i don't want packaged food such as 'meals'.

Alright so basically I take my lunch to school everyday, so here are some suggestions:
Kinds of sandwiches: you can have ham, cheese, bologna (or any other kind of cold cut & you can also mix them together, whatever you like w/lettuce or w.e), PB & Fluff (or jelly, whichever you prefer), or you could also make your own salad.
Snacks: crackers (you could also make mini sandwiches with crackers like ham and cheese or peanut butter), chips, fruit (or a mix like fruit salad), vegetables (celery, carrots, etc.), cookies, Wheat Thins (my favorite), Cheez-its, & any other kind of snack you can think of.
Another thing you can do is take warm-ish pizza and put it in tupperware or you can make soup and put it in a thermos or any other kind of left over you have you can pack it up and bring it to school with you. Hope I helped :)

No, the only way your hair can fall out is if there are other complications- like medical wise. Sometimes putting a lot of chemicals in your hair can damage it or make some fall out (like if you chemically straightened it twice a month or put some other kind of salon hair product like that in your hair often, then that could possibly happen, but not if you only dye it once a month or once every other month). Don't worry, dying your hair doesn't make it fall out. Hope I helped :)

I know how annoying that is, trust me. My little cousin does it to me all of the time and it gets on my nerves. I think you should, or need to tell her even though she could get mad. Try thinking of some things that are your own that she can't do or wouldn't do. You are who you are and she should just try and be herself, let her know that. Let her know that sometimes the things you do you want to do for yourself, not for someone else to copy. Maybe she doesn't even realize she's doing it, she just thinks some of the things you do are a lot more interesting than the things going on in her life, you won't know until you talk to her. P.S: I know that you might not want to talk to her because she might be upset, but it's the only way to get her to stop and realize that what she's doing is bothering you. She won't know unless you tell her.
So my schools starting next week and i actually managed to get a locker this year. The problem is, because last year i shared a locker with a friend, i cant remember my own lock combo. I had the lock the year before last year when i had my own locker, but after sharing a locker with my friend, i completely forgot it! i just remember the numbers are all even and im pretty sure theres a 14 in the middle and maybe 36 somewhere.. is there any way to find out my combo or will i have to keep guessing or buy a new lock??? please help o_O;
Usually at the beginning of the year your homeroom teacher hands out the locks, so when you first got yours, he/she probably kept a copy of the lock combo, try asking. If that doesn't work then the janitor might have to use his key to open it (on the back) and would give you a different lock and a different combo (just be sure to write it down). If your homeroom teacher doesn't have a copy, ask him/her to ask a janitor to open it for you. Hope I helped :)

The thing he doesn't get is that it's your decision. If he wants to have sex, hey that's great! But if you don't, then it's not up to him to decide. Do what you think is best for YOU, not for him. Don't have sex young because there are a lot of consequences- an STD, pregnancy, lots of things. I wouldn't risk it. Seriously, if he's asking you to give him head, that's gross (in my opinion). No, it's not possible to get pregnant from that especially if you were wearing a bathing suit AND especially if his thing didn't go inside yours. My period came really late last month but I ended up getting it, which is probably your case too. Unless you've had your period for over like 2-3 years, it's bound to be irregular. So don't worry, you're not pregnant.
alrighty so on monday me, my boyfriend, his sister and her husband are going to six flags. i havent been there since i was like 2. and looking at the website it looks like all there are is rollercoasters. ok so im scared of hights like no other. my bf said i didnt have to go on them but then i would look stupid just standing by myself for a few hours. and i would just not go but i have trust issues with my bf. what the helll should i dooo. i only have til tomorrow to figure out if i want to go or not.

Well if you guys are planning on going to the water park there, they have slides, a couple of rides and a wave pool all of which are really fun. Six Flags isn't just roller coasters, trust me (I've never been on a roller coaster because I'm scared of heights too) they have other rides too that aren't high and are really fun. If you're really that afraid, then don't go if you think all they want to do is go on roller coasters all day because then you would be standing there alone (especially since they have really long lines for roller coasters). I think you should go, it's a lot of fun. Ask them if they wouldn't mind going on other rides too, not just roller coasters. Hope I helped
I have naturally curly hair. I strighten it all the time so its never curly. But now that school is almost here and ill have homework ill never have time to strighten it. So is there a shampoo and anything that will make my hair stright without me having to strighten it?

You go to 'profile settings' and scroll down and where it says 'Upload a picture of you:' click browse (on the right side) and it'll bring you to 'My Pictures' and from there search for the picture you want on your column. Hope I helped :)
I'm Italian-American and my family is pretty old fashion when it comes to dating. They're not in anyway racists at all but they don't exactly believe in dating outside our race (like any guy that isn't white).
Well I've meet this guy since school started (I've actually met him at parties and stuff before but never really had a chance to get to know him) and he asked me out on a date.
I like him and all and I know my dad would love him (my parents always meet my dates when they come pick me up :/ ). He's Mr. all star football running back, he's smart (top 10% of our class, actually), and he's oh so respectful. But one problem, he's black. And like I said before, my parents aren't into that.
So I'm not exactly sure what to do. I've tried talking to them about the situation in the past, but no luck.
Lol, I know just how you feel. My family (dad, brother, uncles, aunts, & grandma) are very racist. I hate it and it makes me feel like they tell me that no matter what I do, they'll support me, but not when it comes to dating a black guy. I liked a black guy a while ago and my mom & brother found out. Shocked pretty much explains the look on their faces, and I was hurt but I didn't care, I was going to like him anyway and to me, their opinion didn't matter when it came to this. If this guy is someone you really like then your the one who decides- date him? or not? He seems like a great guy and I wouldn't let anyone, including your parents, get in the way. Follow your heart (corny, I know) but it'll tell you what to do. Make sure your parents know and understand how much you like him and how good of a person he really is, other than that there's no real way to change peoples' minds but to keep on trying. I don't think you can buy one in a grocery store, but you can get one at Walgreens (the only place I know of) or online from the Bikini Touch site. At Walgreens they're only $4.00, but on the Bikini Touch site they're $14.99, so I suggest going to a Walgreens if you have one around, OR order it online from Walgreens.com, which will cost you an extra $5.00.
