My girl became pregnant last month,but we can not manage it becouse, she is still in Colage.please help. (link)
 |
could you send more details?

What would you like to do? Sometimes there are
more important things than college. Do either of you
want the baby? Do you feel adoption would be a good thing? Do you think you could live (or her) with having an abortion?

Sorry that's a lot of questions for you guys.
Not an easy decision whichever way you go.

Are you in college also? Do you want to get married?
It is possible to continue school and have a baby. It would not be an easy road to take but it is certainly possible to do.

Get back with me and I will see what info I can find for you.

My parents would not care, and i would be smart about how i did it. No boys around, with close friends that i trust, and no driving!
But so many people know that i am a christian and that is bad way to be an example, not that id tell people. I would feel like i couldnt tell anyone and by hidin g it i would be fake. But in the same sense i wnt to have fun nd stop bieng the good girl always. (link)
 |
First, who says good girls can't have fun?
They can! I'm happy to hear you plan to
drink responsibly, but,drinking just to fit in or go along with the crowd, is not the way to go.

Take being a christian clear out of it. Many Christians drink. You just want to fit in. How
many of these people who party and drink do you
really seek the approval of? Is drinking and partying the lifestyle you really want to associate yourself with? Those are the questions you should be asking yourself. Once you start, you will not stop. Once you start you'll be expected to act just the way all of them act.

You may not see it now, but being the one who goes her own way & doesn't do things just because everyone else does them is awesome. It makes you unique. Best of all, you don't have to lie and hide anything from anyone.

Curiosity is a strong pull to do things. Try to look at the big picture before you make a decision to do something you know is wrong for you.

My 24 year old son and his now wife have an 8 month old child. His wife became pregnant while on the pill ( she is 21 years old). He married her and they are struggling financially. My husband and I have been helping but wonder if we should. I worry very much about their future as a couple How involved should we be. (link)
 |
I've kinda been in this situation. The best thing you can do is to let them struggle on their own.

Check in now and then & make sure the baby has diapers and food/milk. Don't give them the money to get it. Buy it yourself and take it to them.

The worry you need to be having is are they being to dependent on you for help. It becomes a habit. Make them do it on their own.

Hi I'm a 20 yr/F. the problem that's occurring in my family is that my sister is neglecting her family. she is 21yrs old and in love with this guy who is 19 yrs old. i have no problem if she likes him or not, but she is totally obsesses with him. she cant stop thinking about him. the main point is that they're just friends. she always tells everyone that oh we're just friends. she always calls him 24/7 and always goes to visit him. she lives with me and our parents and doesn't give our parents respect. she always tells them lies and she occasionally steals money from them. just for this guy. and whenever she would go out to see him she wouldn't come back till 4 in the morning. i know u guys think that oh shes 21 and that she has her freedom, but she's dependent on our parents. and our religion does not allow smoking and drinking which she does and lies striaght to my parenbts face while shes drunk. i really need your help...please help me solve this problem. how can we keeep her under control cause shes totally out of it..?? (link)
 |
She needs to be told...mainly by your parents, that so long as she is living under their roof, she has to abide by their rules. The only 21 year olds with freedom are those who go to work and live in their own place.

There isn't a lot you can do about her constant talk of this guy she likes. I guess you could tell her you are sick of hearing about him. I doubt it would do any good though.

So, she needs to be told to either get a job and move out, or respect those who are putting a roof over her head and feeding her every day. Simple as that. Your parents need to be prepared to boot her out the door if she continues the bad behavior.

Right now I'm looking for a job. I have been handing in applications everywhere, and yet nearly a year has passed since then. What can I do for a better job search? (link)
 |
Don't just hand someone an application and leave it at that. After a couple of days call and ask if your application has been seen. Are they still hiring?

Follow up. Most people are going to hire the guy who seems interested and eager to work for them.

Good luck!

me and my boyfriend were discussing having children earlier. i know that it sounds bad, but i'm scared to death of having a baby, and the reason is because of the way your body looks afterward.

now this question is really for wemon who have had children, or for girls whos mom have had babies after them,

1. is your body absolutly horrible after having a baby? and you can fix it right? with dieting and exercise?
2. how hard is it to get rid of stretch marks? if i keep my skin moisturized alot while i'm still young, will that keep the stretch marks from being really bad? and how fast do they fade? and how easily? how did you get rid of them?
3. if the better your body looks, the thiner you are, stuff like that, will that make your body easier to get back? like for example, if you have a baby when you're like, 23, and your boobs are still where they should be, will they go back to that way after? since you're still young?
4. how long does it take to get your body back? if anyone had any tips or tricks to getting their body back afterwards then please let me know. :D (link)
 |
If you are really worried and upset with how your body will look after a pregnancy, don't get pregnant. Everyone is different & nobody can predict what they might look like afterward.

1. You can expect to gain some weight. The key is to exercise throughout the pregnancy. Don't wait until after you have a baby and THEN decide you need to work on the old body. It will be much harder to lose what you gained.

If it is a difficult pregnancy and exercise is impossible, you can still get back in shape, it will just be a bit harder to do.

2. Stretch marks are damaged skin. You can use cocoa butter lotion religiously throughout your pregnancy and that will help, but not prevent all stretch marks.

Stretch marks will not ever go away, but can fade out over time. Do not believe you can use a magic lotion and get rid of them. They are basically scars. It can in all honesty it can take years for them to fade.

I still have some stretch marks though they are faded. My kids are both in their early 30's. I had them at ages 18 & 21. They don't bother me or my husband.

3. Of course the younger you are the faster your skin will snap back into shape with exercise. You should never diet while pregnant, by the way. Just eat healthy.

Boobs will get larger during pregnancy. where they will go from there is anyone's guess. Smaller busted women will probably not have much of a problem with sagging boobs, but sooner or later they all sag. Unless of course they are fake. :) You ever seen that picture going around the net of the old lady in the bikini who looks about 80 but still has the perky fake boobs? Looks ridiculous. Anyway, after a pregnancy your boobs like any other body part will probably go
back to close to what they were before. But likely will be a bit larger than they were.

Since everyone is different there is no set time to how long it will take to get your body back in shape. Health and time to work on it are factors.

The only tips I have is just to stay active and exercise throughout your pregnancy, if a doctor says its ok to do so. Don't wait until after the baby to work on it. And last but not least, don't have a baby if what you will look like afterward is going to bother you. When you fall in love and want a baby, its really not something you worry about to much.

20 f. I am living with my boyfriend that i have been with for 2yrs and we just had a baby in june. We are on and off and have been since i was pregnant, we don't even share the same room, but we keep trying to work things out for our son. . but one of the times we broke up, i had sex with this guy i had been talking to, and we didnt use protection, and now im pregnant. I told my son's dad and he was mad to say the least. . I don't know what to do because our families never knew we broke up to begin with. I deffinetly want to keep the baby, and i told the guy i hooked up with, and it turns out he has someone else pregnant too. Im in a huge mess and the worst part i dont know how i'll face my family, especially my mom, who loves my baby's dad. . please help! (link)
 |
To be completely honest, you probably need to take your baby, find your own place and forget the guys for now. If you are just looking for someone to feel sorry for you and tell you what you want to hear...stop reading now.

If you have been on & off with your guy & don't even sleep in the same room...its all but over anyway. You don't stay in a relationship "for the children". It doesn't work out in the end. Your son will be more hurt when after 10 years of this crap, one of you decides to get a life.

I think you are probably both to immature to be parents, but you are. Its time to grow up. The children come first. The dads can see them on weekends & that's just the way they will have a relationship with their children. Maybe next time they will either use protection or stop sleeping with women they have no intention of having a long term relationship with.

You will put all your concentration on raising 2 children without a father. Dating will be very low on your priority list. Next time you will insist on protection and only have sex with men who are wanting more from a relationship than just sex.

So tell your parents the whole story. Find a new place for you and your children. Get a lawyer and get child support set up from both of the childrens fathers & then stay away from them and other guys until you are able to have a relationship with a more mature guy who doesn't mind taking on a woman and her 2 kids. It won't be easy, but you can do it.

The the first time my friends asked him out for me he said i dont know so i asked my friend if they would ask him out for me a second time, he always stares at me in class and my friends see it. and they asked him something i never asked them to ask him! they asked why do u always stare at her then (me) he says because she makes weird faces! but yet in class hes real nice 2 me! is he just playing games? (link)
 |
Talk to him. Smile at him. Let him know you are interested.

The biggest mistake made here is that
your friends are doing the talking. That usually doesn't work. How does he know they aren't just
being smart asses telling him you like him? Friends
to some goofy things now and then. So if you are
interested, you have to do the work yourself.

He's nice to you in class, that's a good sign.
Is he messing with your friends? Its a good possibility. Most guys aren't going to set themselves up to be teased.

I'm in high school and there's this guy who I've been thinking of seriously going out with and stuff, and he's only ever been incredibly nice and sweet to me. He's been a total gentleman and has treated me really well(: However, every person has told me he's a 'total manwhore' and that I shouldn't go out with him or anything. Now, I did mention this to him and he said that everyone says that because he's really friendly and has a lot of friends - which is true, and that doesn't bother me.
I just don't know if I should really go through with this because what if everyone else is right and he just totally plays me? But he's only ever been absolutely amazing with me, so I've never experienced anything else with him! Can I just have some advice on what you think? i just like to have other opinions. Thanks!
 (link)
 |
If you really like him go out with him. You don't have to be exclusive right away. Go out and see if you like him. Just use caution and be aware (as you are) that rumors could be true.

If you think about it, its what we should do with any relationship. Most people jump right in not even thinking about it. Rumors aren't always true. If you like him. Go out with him and find out for yourself. Take a risk.

Ok so 2 of my friends lets call them ella and whittny have told me that they have been smoking one when she was little the other has not stopped yet! So i was just seeing if there was any advise for me because they both told me to tell no one so can anyone help me please? Oh and they r both 12 im male just to tell u (link)
 |
Smoking is NOT legal for those under the age of 18.
My advise is to just tell them not to smoke around you. Keep out of it as much as possible. If you are older than they are, someone could get the idea that you are buying smokes for them.

You can try to make them see that it is a nasty habit to have. However, if they are smoking they already know that.

I was just wondering what is better Auslogics Boostspeed or Advanced System Optimizier 3. I have been using them both for awhile and im siding with ASO 3 and not Auslogics Boostspeed since auslogics is not deleting all the errors it is reporting and ASO 3 is. thanks for you advice

I've never used Auslogics. For what its worth though, I use ASO and am happy with it. :)

My uncle is a pediatrist and diagonosed me with a pinched nerve in my foot. He gave me meds. Naproxen Sodium. It doesn't hirt as much as it did at the beginning of the week, so could it have gone away? It starts to hurt when I walk on it, dance or run on it. I want to take the meds just in case it isn't gone, but is there a posibility I could overdose? I have to take the meds for 21 days. Anything is appreciated! (link)
 |
The best thing for you to do would be to call your uncle and ask him. He'd know more about it than anyone else. :)

You can OD on any medication if you take more than prescribed. I don't know if you have an RX or over the counter Naproxen Sodium (Aleve) but the dosage on the bottle I have says not to exceed 3 (220mg)
tablets in 24 hours. As long as you follow the instructions given to you, you should be fine.

I'd give your uncle a call though and see what he thinks as far as activity goes. Just to be safe. You don't want to cause permenant injury.

18/f
My period is three weeks late and I have absolutely no idea why. I'm absolutely positive that I'm not pregnant, so please don't go there. I'm a freshman in college, and one of my friends told me that living around a bunch of girls can do weird stuff to your cycle. Is that true? Could that be what's happening?
I'm still PMSing though; I have been since the time I would have normally began PMSing. And it's awful. What can I do? (link)
 |
There doesn't have to be a good reason for skipping a period. It happens and is nothing to worry about.
Living in a dorm situation can affect it as was mentioned in the answer before me.

Some common reasons for missing a period could be stress, exercising more than you normally would, gaining weight...the list goes on.

I wouldn't worry about a missed period unless you have had unprotected sex, or you are having pain.
If you miss more than a couple, see your doctor.

We broke up earlier so he can get back on track with his life/career. He thought a relationship was a distraction. His family doesn't like me, so when they found out we broke up. They were happy. They thought I was a bad influence on him, because for some reason he would do stuff for me and not for them. I guess... They're intimidated by me? By the power I have towards their son? But anyways, he recently told me that he still loves me because ever since we broke up he couldn't stop thinking about me. We decided to be in a "secret" relationship, but towards his parents he's single?? So we're keeping it away from his parents, and we're limiting the time we see each other. Then, just now... I told him I was scared he was going to leave me again, he said he's trying really hard to regain his feelings back towards me. What? Who tries to regain their feelings back for someone? Does that even work? I know he needs time to get everything organized.

My friends say that he's obviously confused about his life, but he obviously still really likes me because I'm his first personal girlfriend that he actually loved. And he didn't want to lose that, especially since he keeps calling me nicknames and hugs me, kisses me, holds my hand in front of other people.

But the one thing that confuses me, regaining his feelings? He said, yes he still loves me, that's why he said he was going to come back to me. Uhhhh... (link)
 |
well, he's somewhat confused for sure. He also has his parents on his back about not liking you. Something that would be very hard to overcome.

I would be very leary of being in a relationship with anyone where it had to be kept a secret. Just not a good way to go at all. He either loves you and wants the world to know it....or he's sneaking around. Not good.

My suggestion, though it won't be the popular one, would be to back off until he is ready to stand up to his parents and decide for himself just who he will have a relationship with.

I think this is in the wrong category, but anywho I just got my industrial pierced today and I was wandering what the best way to take care of it is, and how long it takes to heal. I have H2Ocean cleaning spray too.
Thanks. (: (link)
 |
You should have been given an aftercare instruction sheet, but not all places hand them out.

Here you go, this is from http://www.foreversacred.com/Industrial%20Piercing%20Care%20Instructions/

Ear Industrial Piercing

Summary General Healing Time 8 weeks

    *
      The manufacturers of piercing guns do NOT recommend their use for this type of piercing
    *
      Healing Time: 6 - 12 months
    *
      Do not touch your piercing, or let others touch it while it is healing
    *
      Clean your healing piercing only twice a day, with antibacterial soap
    *
      Never use alcohol swabs, Betadine or hydrogen peroxide to clean your piercing
    *
      Never use cotton balls or cotton swabs to clean your piercing
    *
      Pain, redness and unusual discharge may be due to infection. Consult your piercer or a physician if you develop any of these symptoms
    *
      Take vitamin C and zinc to maximize your healing
    *
      Wait till your piercing is healed before changing jewelry yourself

Daily Care Routine

    *
      Do not touch your piercing unless you are cleaning it. Unwashed hands carry bacteria and your piercing is a point where these bacteria can penetrate below your skin and cause an infection.
    *
      While healing, at least for the first 2 - 3 weeks, your piercing will need to be cleaned once daily - while showering is ideal. You will need to use an antibacterial soap.
    *
      The step-by-step procedure is:

Wash your hands with antibacterial soap.
Wet the piercing with plain water.
Put a few drops of antibacterial soap on the piercing and work them into a lather with a cotton bud.
Try to loosen any crusted discharge and float it off the jewelry and your skin with the cotton bud.
Leave the antibacterial soap on the piercing for two minutes while rotating the jewelry back and forth, allowing the disinfectant to penetrate the piercing.
Rinse with water and air dry thoroughly.
Piercing Options and Jewelry Choices

    *
      Suitable Types:

Captured bead rings
Rings are much cheaper than bar bells, but they do tend to park flat against the skin. Special pliers are usually required to remove or replace the bead.
Curved bar bells
Either choose internally threaded bar bells or, if the bar is externally threaded, be very sure that no threads are exposed.

    *
      Suitable Sizes:
      Only 14 gauge or heavier jewelry should be used. Smaller gauges will migrate out through the skin.
    *
      Suitable Materials:
      Surgical Stainless Steel, 18 carat gold, titanium, niobium.
      Do not use 9 karat gold, silver (which can stain the tissues permanently), or gold plated jewelry in new piercings. In a healing piercing the gold plating will wear off the jewelry before the piercing is healed. This is not such a problem in healed piercings.
    *
      Changing Jewelry:
      It is possible to change jewelry during the first 2 months, but this is best done by a professional piercer. Once a piercing is healed anyone can change the jewelry.

Other Issues

    *
      Bacterial Infections

Symptoms include increased pain, increased redness and an increase in the amount and thickness of the discharge. The infected discharge is usually thick and yellow, green or gray and may have an unusual odor.
Consult with your physician or piercer and do not remove the jewelry until you seek advice. Removing the jewelry may prevent pus draining and cause an abscess to form.

    *
      Cleaning Agents
      Never use alcohol swabs, Betadine, chlorhexidine, hydrogen peroxide, methylated spirit or tea tree oil to clean your new piercing. These do kill bacteria but they also destroy your healing flesh. The killed flesh then becomes easily infected.
    *
      Exercising:
      Be careful not to knock the piercing accidentally when playing sport or doing physical work. You can use a bandage to protect it, but afterwards remove it and wash the piercing as soon as possible.
    *
      Sleeping:
      Use surgical tape while sleeping to protect the piercing.
    *
      Swimming
      Swimming is not prohibited while your piercing is healing, but you should only swim for short periods in pools that are thoroughly chlorine- or ozone-treated. Do not let your skin become wrinkly and soft. If you swim in the ocean or waterways, do not swim after heavy rain. Storm water run-off often contains bacteria and parasites.
    *
      Tightening:
      Tightening can occur in all piercings. The skin at either or both ends can grow tightly against the jewelry. This is not dangerous and will usually resolve if the piercing is rotated or moved about with each daily washing. However, you should not rotate the piercing excessively as this can delay healing.
    *
      Viral Infections
      Viruses such as Hepatitis A, B, and C, and HIV can penetrate a piercing that has not healed. These viruses may be present in the blood, saliva, semen, sweat and vaginal secretions of infected persons. Until your piercing has healed avoid any other person's bodily fluids contacting your piercing.
    *
      Vitamins:
      Studies have shown that vitamin C and zinc promote wound healing. Aim for about 2000-3000 mg vitamin C and 100 mg zinc daily. Note that these amounts are not available in multivitamin tablets. Ask at your pharmacist or health-food store for advice on suitable products. If you are taking any medications, ask your pharmacist to make sure there are no interactions between them and the vitamin C and zinc you intend to take. For example, vitamin C can delay the absorption of the contraceptive pill - they should be taken at different times.

sooo. im 20/f. i've worked as a server for almost 4 years now at a few different places, but next week i have an interview for a serving position at this really popular bar near the university i go to and im so NERVOUS! i applied there not expecting to even get an interview, because from what i've heard its pretty hard to get a job there, and you typically have to know someone to get an in. what should i do at the interview to help me out? i've done several interviews through out my part-time career, but not at a place like this. it's a bar/grill but they have concerts, trivia/bingo nights, greek events, and all kinds of stuff, so its a place that hundreds of people apply to. the day i applied there were prob 10-15 other girls in there applying at the same time as me, and im just hoping i get it. the only thing i have to help out my case is my experience. any advice?? (link)
 |  |
Treat it just as would any other interview you have been on. Its no different really. Answer questions honestly, go to the interview neatly dressed and looking your best. You'll do just fine.
