My uncle is a pediatrist and diagonosed me with a pinched nerve in my foot. He gave me meds. Naproxen Sodium. It doesn't hirt as much as it did at the beginning of the week, so could it have gone away? It starts to hurt when I walk on it, dance or run on it. I want to take the meds just in case it isn't gone, but is there a posibility I could overdose? I have to take the meds for 21 days. Anything is appreciated!
You can OD on any medication if you take more than prescribed. I don't know if you have an RX or over the counter Naproxen Sodium (Aleve) but the dosage on the bottle I have says not to exceed 3 (220mg)
tablets in 24 hours. As long as you follow the instructions given to you, you should be fine.
I'd give your uncle a call though and see what he thinks as far as activity goes. Just to be safe. You don't want to cause permenant injury. [ karenR's advice column | Ask karenR A Question ]
