My column is dedicated to telling it like it is. I will always give you the best information available to me or the best advice I can. I will be upfront and never hide the truth from you.The one thing I will not do is you homework. I will try and point you towards the answer or help you find the answers you looking for. Ultimately you will have to find the answer yourself.

Hi, I have multiple school loans and I want to know if there is a way to make them all into one loan like they do with you house and car payments. Is it possible, or no? I need to do something about my student loan bills and I don't know what else to try? Any suggestions besides this?
The simple answer to your question is yes. My son did this with his student loans though I am unaware of how he did it. I would suggest starting with contacting the bank or banks you are paying to see if they are interested in consolidating the loans or if they can point you to where you need to go to do so.
Since the student loans are a government program there may be a program that allows you to do this. Talk to each of the banks you’re paying for one may not know, and another may not want to be bothered. IF all else fails contact your congressman's office for assistance for if there is a federal program for consolidation they would know of it.
I am at the point where I need to go for SSI. I can barely walk anymore and I am still holding down a job that is killing me. :( I am afraid of lawyers, I think we have all been made to feel afraid in one way or another, but now I really need one to file my SSI claim, and I don't know how to find one that is going to treat me fairly! Is there even such a critter? If you have been through this, could you give me an idea of what I am in for or tell me what pitfalls I should expect to encounter through this legal process? I can't thank you enough!
You do not need a lawyer to file for SSI; at least not for the original filing. Follow this link; http://www.socialsecurity.gov/disabilityonline/
This will take you directly to the SSI website and the form needed to file for disability. It is not complicated just long. They ask about every doctor you have ever seen about this problem and when, so have all this information available and the doctors address and contact information. Complete the application and answer all the questions as best you can then submit it.
I did this when I was first disabled. The first thing they did was send me for an Independent Medical Evaluation (IME) which is their right to ask for and they pay for. About 30 days after the IME I received a notice that I was considered 100% disabled and would receive full disability benefits. I didn't need a lawyer.
If you’re really concerned and want the advice of a lawyer. The lawyers that advertise on TV that they can get you your disability benefits are a good choice. While you really do not need them for the initial submission they will be able to tell you whether in their estimation you are eligible for SSI disability benefits.
They get paid by taking a portion of your benefits from your first checks. If you don't receive benefits they do not get paid for their work. If they say that they don't think your eligible but will submit your claim for a fee, hang up and submit a claim on your own. Only allow them to work for you if they will work for a portion of your claim upon receiving benefits.
My advice is that you try submitting the initial claim on your own. If turned down you have two appeals. For the appeals you can hire one of those lawyers if you wish.
I need to find a lawyer that can help me fight a discrimination case against someone who didn't hire me because they didn't like something about me, but it had nothing at all to do with the job I would have been doing.
Any advice?
To sue someone for employment discrimination, the act of discrimination has to fall under; I believe it is Title IX, of the Equal Employment Opportunity Act. Such as Racial Discrimination, Sex, age or other Discriminations protected by this act.
You may be the best person qualified for the job. If an employer sees something in you they don't like or finds something in your background they don't care for; they are not obligated by any law to hire you. The following are a couple of examples of those things not protected.
1) During the interview process while it is found you are qualified. You come across to the interviewer as brash or head strong. The interviewer feels although you are the best qualified you would not be a good fit for the work environment. They offer the positions to someone less qualified but a better fit their team.
2) During the background check they find something that makes you a liability to them. It could be for example that you had filed in the past for bankruptcy. The job you are applying for is working on something proprietary to them that their competition would pay dearly to get information on. Nothing says you would succumb to any offer though they don't wish to take the chance. They offer the job to someone else.
Nothing says the examples I gave fit your situation, they are just examples. Fact is unless the reason you were not hired or for that matter fired is protected under the Equal Employment Act. In fact unless a position is under this act if an employee is not a contract employee they are considered an at will employee. As such they can be fired for any reason including as ridicules as it may sound, not liking the color of your eyes or the way you part your hair. I would thing the same would hold true for hiring and at will employee.
My advice is first make sure you have legal grounds to sue. If you want to talk to an attorney call your local bar association for a referral to a Lawyer who specializes in Employment law. You can find the Bar Association using a search Engine or directory assistance.
It appears I am going to be able to choose between working for Boeing or Airbus when I finish my engineering degree. If you had to choose one or the other, can you you tell me which you would choose, and why?
I will have to admit to you up front that I am just a little prejudiced when it comes to which airplane manufacturer I prefer. Though I believe I have good reason why I believe as I do.
With the exception of Airbus I have worked on just about every major aircraft manufacturers plane in the Air Force inventory, Boeing by far are the easiest to repair and the aircraft that are more reliable. Some proper TLC (preventative maintenance) and the Boeing planes seem to just keep flying.
Pilots seem to like the planes as well. Now both Airbus and Boeing planes are as automated as you can get. Pilots today are more flight management than stick and rudder pilots. Boeing continues to provide the pilot with a stick and rudder where Airbus has done away with them and given the pilot a joy stick as in a computer game. Most Pilots still prefer a stick and rudder especially in an emergency. Airbus did away with the stick and rudder in general to bring the Third World countries in to the 20th century transport world.
Boeing has been since its inception a leader in innovation of flight. As an Engineer I would believe working for Bowing would be more fulfilling and a better chance at learning and extending your career than with Airbus. OF course this is only my opinion. They are both good companies making good products to fit markets they wish to fill.
Given a choice of which aircraft to fly I will always opt for a flight with Boeing equipment over all others.
My boyfriend and i planning to have sex but i'm afraid that it will be painfull. We both are virgin and i don't know what should i do.
I am from india
I'm 16years
The others have answered your question. I have a question for you.
From what I know of your country and its religious traditions. There is a great deal of emphasis put on a women being a virgin when she married. Have you given any thought of what you are going to do or say to the man who wants you to be his wife if he is a more traditional man and is looking for a virgin?
The real problem here is that this is the quintessential two sided coin. Your boyfriend is the typical teenage male with raging hormones who wants sex. He like all other males in other countries is defining love as lust. Where you define love as it is defined in the dictionary. He may be saying to you if you love me you will have sex with me. This is not love this is lust.
Looking forward in a few years when he is ready to marry he will not look at you as someone to marry as he may see you as damaged if he becomes a more traditional adult male which is very possible.
I urge you to stop and think about who you are and what the culture of your community is before you decide to have sex. I know for a fact, having once been a 16 year old male, that he is more lustful than in love. So the question is for you to decide if having sex now will ruin your chances for marriage later? If you lived here in the U.S. I would be thinking differently, possibly.
Hi everyone! I am a Jewish girl, so I guess you know why I am asking this question. :( Is there a way to see what your nose will look like after you go to a doctor to get it fixed? I don't want the surgery if it isn't going to be the perfect nose when I am done! Please help me?
A good plastic surgeon should be able to show you what the plan for reshaping your nose is. Some may even have computer programs that can generate a before and after picture. Just remember medicine is not an exact science and there is no guarantee.
The doctor never knows for sure what they will find until they are actually operating. I would say that most of the time the operations go exactly as planned and the patients are happy with the outcome.
To make sure you get the best outcome make sure to choose a Plastic surgeon who is Board Certified in Plastic Surgery. In many states any doctor who has done a rotation in plastics during their residency can do plastic surgery. A Board Certified Surgeon is a doctor who has spent an extra year in a Fellowship learning to be a Plastic Surgeon and passed all the tests to be certified by the college of Surgeons.
Most nose jobs are expensive about $7,500 and up depending on how much needs to be done. Plastic surgery is not covered under insurance unless it is the needed as a result of illness, accident or birth defect. Unfortunately a Jewish nose does not fall in any category.
To be honest all the women in my family have Jewish noses, stands to reason since we are Jewish. I would not touch one of them with a scalpel as each is unique in their own right. They are all married now and not one had any trouble attracting boys or their husbands.
So as the saying goes, "if it isn't broken, literally or figuratively, why fix it". Just my thoughts.
18/f
So here's the thing. My boyfriend just doesn't know how to have sex. We've tried about ten times now. But he just can't put the condom on correctly. We've tried different sizes and everything and he just says its very uncomfortable. He is still a virgin (I'm not)
Obviously I love him which is why I want to help him with this. But idk how as its not like I'm experienced either?
He just can't stay hard as soon as he attempts to put the condom on...
Are there any other contraceptive methods we could try? I have asked him if he's sure he's ready and he said he'd really like to try. I just feel like we both don't really know what we're doing!
Sex like everything else is a learned experience. Yes wearing a condom at first feels different from when he masturbates and yes he probably does masturbates. According to a survey 85% of do and if you ever give him a hand job or oral sex that is what you are doing for him.
Since you are 18 I suggest you get on birth control before you try to have sex. You are an adult now and you do not need parental permission to have birth control. In fact your parents no longer have any control over your medical needs or medical well-being. They may be footing the bill through their insurance but from the moment you turned 18 they no longer had the right to see or speak with your doctors in regards to you medical records or well-being. In fact from a real technical stand point they should not be allowed to make any medical appointments for you. You must make them for yourself.
While you’re waiting for the pill to take effect I suggest you do the following.
Putting on a condom is not hard. Part of the condom is supposed to hang of the end; this is where the ejaculate gathers. Place the condom on his penis and gently role it down the shaft of his penis. It may or may not go all the way to the base of his penis depending on how long he is.
Condoms come lubricated and flavored, in lambskin and latex. You will need to try a variety of them to see which type, lambskin or latex feels best to him and which brand he likes.
Now that the condom is in place have him lay back and relax while you give him a hand job. You will need extra lubricant so buy a tube of K-Y jelly. Make sure to bring him to climax. You may have to do this a few times while he gets use to wearing a condom.
Yes even though you are both virgins he needs to wear a condom even if you go on the pill. If you two are going to start having a sex life then start doing it right. Until you are both in long term relationships or married. Either to each other or someone else the boy is always to wear a condom both for his protection and the girls. Condoms prevent the transmission of many STDS and the HIV/AIDS virus. If you have sex with someone and a condom is not used you are having sex with all the people that person has had unprotected sex with and they have had unprotected sex.
There is also the plus factor of using a condom and being on birth control. A condom is 85% effective in preventing pregnancy. Birth control is almost 99% effective. Together they are almost 100% effective.
When I was your age the girls had a motto. "No rubber, no lover." They were hard and fast on that motto. Yes we guys would prefer a more natural way of having sex. Today it is unfortunate that you can't do that until you are in a long term relationship or married and have had the proper testing.
Once you get him past his problem with the condom comes the best part. In learning to make love communication here is important. Such as telling each other what you like and don't like; where you want to be touched and how, if you want more or less of something like foreplay. If you talk to each other you will have an enjoyable sex life with whoever your partner is.
Just found out that my ex has hep b, what should I be looking for? Is it likely that I am going to show symptoms and know I have it if I do, or does it only show up on tests until it is too late?
You may not have any signs of the illness though you could be a carrier for the disease. The best thing to do and the smart thing to do is to see your family doctor and explain that your ex has Hep b an you may have been exposed.
The doctor will want to know just how you may have been exposed. Was it through sexual intercourse? Was it unprotected sex meaning did he wear a condom? Was it just kissing with a lot of tongue? It is important to answer the doctors’ questions honestly.
If you are over 14 mom will never know what you tell the doctor thanks to a law called HIPPA. This law gives medical confidentiality to anyone over 14 concerning their reproductive system. Since the question to find out how you were exposed requires questions related too yo9ur reproductive system you would have medical confidentiality for this doctors visit.
Just say to the doctor I would like my HIPPA rights for this visit. If mom is with you she will be asked to wait in the waiting room. Nothing said to the doctor can be repeated back to her by the doctor or the staff. IF you are sexually active you can even ask the doctor for birth control medication and the doctor must right the prescription.
The HIPPA law is a federal law written to protect the reproductive systems of young adults. It was written so young adults would seek out medical advice and treatment for those questions they may be too embarrassed to ask a parent.
As part of this law they do not need parental permission to see a doctor for anything concerning their reproductive system, they receive full medical confidentiality and only those people who they give written permission to their doctor can see the medical records concerning their reproductive system. The reason you can ask for birth control is because congress did not specifically rule it out so doctors must prescribe if you ask.
It is important for your own health that you see a doctor and let the doctor decide if you need to be immunized for hep b or any other treatment. Answer the questions asked honestly, invoke your HIPPA rights if needed.
We would like to get an old school bus and convert it into something we could travel in. Sort of a hippy bus like they used to do? We called a school and they said they didn't know where we could buy an old bus.
Any ideas? Thanks!
Where I live the school system does not operate the school buses they are operated by contractors even though it may say the name of the school system on the side of the bus. Look along the bottom of the bus near the entry door or under the driver’s window of the school bus and you will see the DOT information as to who is the operator of the bus and other information.
Contact the operator(s) directly to see if they have any buses for sale or ones that may be coming up for sale. Many states dictate how long a bus may be in service as a school bus. After that time the operator can no longer use that bus to transport school children though it may remain in service for other uses.
If you do purchase a bus directly from the original operator make sure to ask for the buses maintenance records. DOT regulations require operators of school buses to keep detailed maintenance records on all buses. Take a good look at the records and make sure the records match the bus you are buying.
I've been deployed to Iraq and Afghanistan a couple of times. And sence about 2007 or so I've had a lot of issues with people and life in general. I can't sleep, I go days up to a week at a time without sleep. I've been seen by docs a lot for issues. I've been on more medications then I can remember. Nothing seems to really help. I've set in councilors for hours. I feel like it's just really to annoying to go back to the docs. I can't stand being around people, and anytime someone says something to me all I want to do is stab them. This makes work difficult. If I close my eyes and try to sleep I wake up in about an hour and feel like I'm back on patrol or on fire, or that I'm about to die any second again. So then I can't go back to sleep. I've seen a lot of lives end in seconds, and have almost lost my own on a couple times. I wonder why I'm here everyday. It's just getting to be to much to deal with and I don't know what to do anymore. All I wanted to do the every time I deployed was hurry back home, but I noticed each time I went the less I wanted to come back. And I really don't want to be here right now either. Is this ever going to fix itself or am I just slowly getting crazier?
It sounds like you are suffering from PTSD. PTSD is relatively new to the field of Mental Health and is not as once was thought to be just another form of battle fatigue. Since it is new there are not a lot of doctors and psychologists
Who are truly qualified to work with sufferers of this illness. That doesn't mean there is no hope.
Several years ago the government asked a company called Magellan Health Services, who are the largest provider to mental health services in the country. They were asked to identify and credential those health care providers who are truly trained to care for people suffering from PTSD; especially veterans such as yourself.
What you need to do is call directory assistance to see if there is a local office in your state that you can contact for help in contacting a provider who is trained in caring for those suffering from PTSD. If there is no local office than follow this link to their website.
I was unable to find a toll free number for them but the following phone number is to their headquarters in St Louis if you need it. (314) 266-0437
From one veteran to another, Hang in their buddy. Give these people a call I am confident they can help you.

I am traveling and I need to mail something, but I don't want to get stuck downtown in a major city I don't know. Is there an app or a site that lets you find a mailbox near you?
You can find a post office in almost any town or suburb you are in by going to USPS.COM. On the left hand side of the page you will see; "Find a USPS location." Click on it then enter the city and state you are in. It will return a list of post offices in that area.
You can also look ups "UPS.com stores. The UPS stores are usually located in small strip stores or malls and will ship any from a letter to a 100 pound package. They will accept mail for the post office and sell you the proper postage, with a small service charge or ship anything you need via UPS.
The advantage to the UPS Store: Shorter or no lines than what would be found at any Post Office.
I like this guy and he likes me. But he always is busy with work or school. We have talked and agreed that we don't want a relationship, but want each other to be there. is it wise to get physical with someone like this. He is sexually active beyond what I am. And want to have sex. I do too, but I get scared, and nervous to do it.
I believe it is best to stay friends until you define your relationship. The term friends with benefits is really a misnomer as at some point one of you wants more than just the benefits and hurt feelings arise from the relationship. Yes, friends with benefits are a form of a relationship one that should not be entered into lightly for the reason I gave.
The fact that you write; "but I get scared, and nervous to do it." Reads to me that you are still in your teenage years, possibly early teenage years and still a virgin. This is another reason to slow down and examine the direction you want a relationship to go.
Trust me when I say I understand your desire to have sex and maybe to haves sex with him. Also trust me when I say if I am correct in guessing your age that this is not the time or the person to have sex with.
I am probably one of the most liberal advisors on here in my age group, being of the grandfatherly age. I consider it hypercritical to tell the young people who write us to wait until they are married to have sex. What your write is to tell you how wrong it is to have sex at too early an age.
Besides all the stuff and warnings parents tell you about and the fear of getting pregnant. You are not physically ready for sex. Yes you may have changed from the pudgy little girl in to a wonderful curvy young woman on the outside. It is your insides that have not changed enough. Yes you can get pregnant. But sex is going to be painful the first few times because your vagina has not matured enough to easily accept a male’s penis.
Sex for the sake of having sex is not very enjoyable, especially if you are young teenagers. It ends up being stolen moments, hoping not to get caught, in a wham bam and maybe a thank you ma'am situation. Which for the girls is rarely very comfortable or satisfying?
Keep him as a friend, you have time to find a lover.
hey guys, what type of help is offered for eating disorders?
With a problem such as an eating disorder the person afflicted first needs to ask for help. This is the type of illness where the adage "You can lead a horse to water but can't make them drink," is very appropriate. If you are the one with the eating disorder you have not only taken the first step, you have taken the biggest step to getting your life back.
The next step is a visit to the family doctor. This is a two-fold step. First the patient needs to have a complete physical to see what if any damage has been done by the eating disorder and what steps are needed to fix or correct that damage. Electrolyte imbalance is one of the biggest problems of some eating disorders such as bulimia.
The next part is the referral to the appropriate doctor or treatment center to help the patient overcome the eating disorder. Depending on the disorder and how deep the disorder is imbedded in the patient. It may mean inpatient treatment may be required. Many times intensive outpatient therapy will be all that is needed as long as the patient is compliant with the treatment.
The short answer to your question is: The treatment varies depending on the type of eating disorder. How much harm has been done to the patient by the disorder? Is the patient being compliant with the treat and asked for help or being in some manner forced into treatment?
I wish I could give you a yes or no answer, it is not that simple. It all depends on the answers to the questions above as to the type of help each patient will receive.
I have been in a relationship with my wonderful boyfriend for over 3 years. I am still very very in love with him. BUT, i am in love with Demi Lovato. She makes me question my sexuality. Sometimes when I masterbate I think of her, and I dream about her constantly. Yes I know she is a singer, but if she ever wanted to hook up with me I would do her in a heartbeat. I've watched porn ever since I was 10 and I always watch lesbian or gay porn. IDK why. I've always been attracted to boys ever since i was in pre school but I did experiment on girls in the 4th grade. Before I got into a relationship with my love, I used to look girls up on Facebook and check their profiles. I love my boyfriend so much, but i'm scared that I'm bi. And if I am, I'm scared to tell him. Please help me. Is Demi Lovato just an extreme girl crush?
First of all there is nothing wrong with being bisexual. Your boyfriend might even enjoy the fact that you may be which I have my doubts about.
Watching lesbian or gay porn does not make you gay. If you were gay you would know as this is how you were born. Boys would not interest you. Being Gay or a Lesbian is not something you wake up one morning and decide to become.
You didn't give your age so I am making a guess you are in your early to mid-teen age years. What I see is you have a crush on this actress. Nothing wrong with that either. You could just as easily have a crush on a teacher; male or female.
If I'm correct in my guess of your age, what is happening here is hormones. During puberty as the different hormones are released into are bodies they play havoc with us. We start to examine our sexuality, which is good. This is the time we experiment with our sexuality. Yes we the inclusive use of the verb meaning both boys and girls.
There would be nothing wrong and would not mean you are gay if you were to have a fling with another girls. You might even find out more about your own body and what you need to become really turned on, meaning in foreplay or making out and fingering.
Should you be as young as I believe you to be actual intercourse is not something you should be experimenting with. Being fingered, masturbating, and giving hand jobs that is what this time of your life is all about. Going further than that leads to stresses with missed periods you don't need. This will happen if you have intercourse with a boy as you will worry and stress out about being pregnant.
The stress of worry causes you to miss a period. Then you wrote to us and ask for help. We write back explaining what I just said above among other things. So put that off until you are of the adult age and much better to handle that type of situation.
I want to know whether suicide by insulin is a painfull method or not? And how much time is needed
Sorry I wouldn't know the answer to that question. Why don't you tell me why you want to die and maybe I can help you live. You see that is what we do here, we help people with problems.
Myself, I am among the older set of advisors being in the grandfatherly age. In all my years, and I have seen the worst of the worst as a firefighter. There is nothing that can't be resolved. The biggest problem with any problem is being too close to it to see the solution as we get caught up in the problem itself.
Those of us here at advicenators bring a fresh perspective to any problem you might have. As I said many of us may be older and therefore may see a resolution you might not be aware of.
I have not seen a problem so large, so unyielding that the only solution is killing oneself. Why not tell me why you feel this is the only solution to your problem. I can assure there is a better solution than killing dyeing.
Hello you lovely wonderful people! :) Can you help me figure out how to sign up for the auditions for this show? Please also tell me how to overcome nerves because I choke when I sing for others. :(
Go to the following website and it should answer all your questions. It is the official site for the show. Hey guys, I'm 19 and female. My best friend is 20 and male. I went out the other night to a party (please spare the whole speech about that). I texted him and asked if he wanted to meet me at the party because I just wanted him there, he said definitely so I told him the address and he met me there in about ten minutes. He called me to let me know he was there and I went outside to get him, I hugged him to say hi and he hugged back. I brought him inside, he got a drink and we were hanging out. He went off to talk to some guys for a bit and when he came back, I was making out with some guy. He let it happen and everything but when I get drunk, I get a little emotional and I'm going through some weird stuff right now so I'm known to have panic attacks. So, I started crying. My roommate told me that he was the only one who could get me to stop crying and having a panic attack. When I did stop crying, he would take my hand and just be there for me, talking to me and telling me everything was okay because he was there. My friend that I went out with that night has a GoPro and he likes filming parties at school because he's making a montage video of his freshman year. We were later looking back at some footage he took and there was one that I don't remember but my best friend was just holding me, I was in his arms and his hands were down on my waist. It looked like, to us, that we were the only two people in the room. My roommate also told me that he had to carry me out to the car when we left because I couldn't walk. (I was a shit show that night, I already know, don't judge me). He then walked home because there wasn't room for him in the car and when we got back, he was waiting there and got me inside and upstairs.
Now, all of this, you might be thinking "wow, girl, he totally loves you." Well, he's got a girlfriend.. yea, weird, huh? I was talking to him the other night and he told me that he didn't tell his girlfriend anything that happened that night because she is already intimidated by me and he doesn't want her to get upset at what happened and he said out of common courtesy to me, he won't tell anyone that wasn't there to see it themselves.
All of my best friends said that night was so weird, I was with him all night and when I wasn't, I'm told that I was asking for him. They said it was weird, too that he was the only one that could make me feel better. My best girl friend has diagnosed anxiety so I know she would be able to talk me down from a panic attack but for some reason, he's the only one that I wanted that night and he was there for me all night.
Aside from that night, he still is always there for me. We hang out in my room all the time, we have weekly applebees dates where we go for karaoke night, we also have weekly tv dates where out favorite show comes on and we can't fathom watching it without each other.
Please, tell me what you think about this. My friends and I think it's weird that he wouldn't just explain to his girlfriend that I got drunk and he took care of me. They also think it's weird, like I said, that he was the only one to make me feel better and that when I did need him, he was there. I even texted him the next morning that there was no amount of apologizing that I could do to make that night better and he said "you did nothing wrong, you were fine, I had fun, the night was great, don't even think about apologizing." My friends think we exceed best friend behavior but even if we do, he has a girlfriend so, it's like, nothing can go beyond that.
Please tell me what you think. Thanks.
There is not enough information her to give you a definitive answer. Also we would have to know you two much better than just what you have written about the two of you to give you any definitive answer.
My kneejerk thoughts are two. First: You two could see each other as a very close brother and sister type relationship. If so it would not be unusual for you to be comforted by him and feel comforted by him, only, when having a panic attack.
Second: There may be more to the relationship than either one of you fully realize. Something his girlfriend sees and why she gets upset when he is with you. She is the proverbial outsider and may see things more clearly or she is just plain jealous of the relationship you have with him. It is really hard to say based on what you have written. Here again we would have to know all the players to make that type of call.
One other thing; If you are having many of these panic attacks you should see a doctor about them. I ask this of you for two reasons. 1) 2he doctor can give you medication to prevent or limit them. 2. The doctor can seek out the underlying cause and treat that.
Now I have not said anything or made any judgment's about anything you wrote. There is one thing I do have to speak against. That is putting 7 people in a car that holds only 4 safely.
I am a firefighter now retired. I have had the unfortunate experience, to many times, of having to deal with young people riding in cars without wearing seatbelts. Seatbelts do save lives. If the car only holds four then 3 people are not seat belted. In the event of an accident the unbelted passengers can be ejected or thrown around in the car.
My most recurring nightmare is of a single car, single occupant accident. She was 17; she was speeding, estimated to be going near 100 mph, when she hit a bump in the road. She was on the cell phone with her boyfriend in his car who she was racing to catch up to. She lost control of the car and hit a tree.
When we arrived and looked in the car it appeared as if she was a sleep. There was no blood except for a slight nose bleed. I wanted to reach in and shake her to wake up but she was dead. She was not wearing a seatbelt. If she had been there is a good possibility she would have survived. We had to use the Jaws of Life to cut open the car to retrieve the body.
She was going extremely fast though it does not take excessive speed to throw an unbelted passenger around a car. What is more important your life or a parking space?
It is our job to rescue people and we do it willingly. Rescues always hurt us especially when they are young people. When the rescue turns out to be a body recovery it really hurts. What gets us threw it is we are doing it for the friends and family of the victim.
Think about this next time you go to the Wawa store. Is the parking place worth your life? How are your parents going to feel at 3 in the morning when some police officer knocks on their door to tell them you have been in an accident and they need to go to the hospital or morgue?
Take two cars, save your parents the possible pain of an early morning knock at the door. If you don't believe what I'm saying; do a ride along with your local fire department or rescue squad on a Friday or Saturday night. If you’re unlucky enough to get a really bad call you will never speed again and you will never get in a car without a seatbelt for you.
If I'm 35 and haven't had a period in years but always thought it was due to being underweight and the medication I'm on... I wasn't getting regular period for very long time but had my son seven years ago... I've heard its def possible to ovulate without menstruating. Anyone else experience this and KNOW FOR FACT they are ovulating but not getting their period? I'd like to have one more child.
Depending on how underweight you are it is possible that this is the reason you are not getting a period. You need to see a GYN to find out the real why of the reason.
IF you are grossly underweight, as I said it is possible this is the reason you are not menstruating. The body is designed to protect the brain at all cost. If it the body is not getting enough nutrients to support all the systems it needs to support it will shut down those systems it feels it can do without. In woman the first to shut down is there menses. The body will not support a pregnancy if it is grossly underweight so most likely you are not ovulating either.
Depending on how underweight you are the body will continue to shut down systems until only the brain is left functioning and you die. Once the body starts to shut down the vital organs such as the kidneys and liver you end up on life support and it is almost impossible for doctors to prevent the inevitable.
I can't say for certain that your menses stopped because your underweight or because of medication. I would need more information. The information I supplied is FYI to motivate you to see a doctor. If you are grossly underweight and your body is starting to shut down now is the time to take action to correct this before it is too late. IF you do then it may be possible to have that second child you want. If not then will you be around to see your son graduate high school?
I won’t apologize if I’m scarring you. For I am doing so purposely to motivate you; I would rather have you made at me for a very long time. Then to feed you a line that everything is roses when it may not be. Please see a doctor before you harm yourself any further.
The stuff in the stores don't work. Everything you can think of, even prescription lotions and pills don't work. What permanently gets rid of cystic acne?
The following website seems to give the best answer to your question. IF you do have cystic Acne and you are not being treated by a Dermatologist you need to be according to what I read on this website.
Cystic Acne does not always respond to medications. Why is a question doctors don't have a good answer to? What they have found is a qualified dermatologist is the best doctor to treat this condition.
What they mean by "Qualified Dermatologist" is: A dermatologist who is Board Certified in Dermatology. Any doctor in family practice can treat acne. Any doctor who has done a residency in dermatology during their training can practice dermatology. A Board Certified Dermatologist is a doctor who has taken extra training by way of a fellowship in Dermatology and passed all the requirements of the Board of Physicians to be certified in the practice of Dermatology. This makes the doctor at the highest end of the skill level for this practice.
My suggestion is you stop the over the counter measures as they can do more harm than good. Read the information on the link provided. If you are not seeing a Board Certified Dermatologist then find one. You can call your local hospital patient referral line for help. Remember to ask for a Board Certified Dermatologist.
Treated properly and early it is possible that you will not end up with the disfiguring results this type of acne leaves behind.

why douse my dad abuse me ? can someone please tell me why ?
It is not possible for any of us to tell you "why" your father abuses you as we do nit know either of you. What I can tell you is if the abuse is physical or sexual it is illegal and you need to tell someone. If your mom knows of his abuse of you and has done nothing then she is wrong as well.
If the abuse is physical, meaning dad punches, slaps or in any way knocks you around. There will be bruises you can show to prove the abuse.
Now there is a fine line between abuse and discipline. Example would be spankings. While most teachers and psychologists do not recommend spankings as discipline; a parent is allowed to spank a child on their butts with or without clothing. A spanking is acceptable provided it is administered only with a hand. If a hairbrush, belt, cane or any other implement is used it is considered child abuse not discipline. As embarrassing as it might be to show these bruise if you were or are abused in this manner. You would have the marks to prove it.
Sexual abuse of a child by anyone including parents is never acceptable. It is sometimes hard to prove. A child who claims to be sexually abused will most generally taken at their word until otherwise proven different. The child's safety will always be paramount.
Now if these are the type of abuse you are talking about there are three things you can do for yourself to put a stop to it.
1. Talk with a trusted teacher at school. Tell him or her about whatever abuse you are getting at home.
2. If there is not a teacher you are comfortable talking to speak to your school principal. Both the teacher and principal have protocol's they must follow when such reports are given to them.
3. Regardless of your age you do not need permission to call the police for help. If you feel you are being abuse the police are there to help and protect you. Try to get to someplace safe if you can and call 911. Tell the call take what has happened. The call taker will most likely stay on the line with you until help arrives. If you must call from home don't worry your parents cannot turn the police away. They will want to see you and talk to you before they leave. If they leave without taking you with them or arresting your father, which will depend on the type of abuse you are getting.
There is such a thing as mental abuse. Unfortunately it is not illegal, it is just bad parenting. Still there is help for you if you report it to an adult you trust and they call child protective services. They will investigate and see to your safety.
