Do you have to pass any math exams or be good in math to be a medical assistant? (link)
You absolutely do not have to be a math genius to be a medical assistant. Of course, there are some basic concepts with math that you will need to learn in order to pass your exams & do your job well. Generally, you will need to have passed at least 10th grade math (or be capable of doing so) in order to deal with the types of things you'll need to be able to do as a MA. Regarding the exams, most math questions will deal with the metric system, fractions/percentages, basic algebra & statistics.

Bottom line, you have it in you to become anything you set your mind to :)
