A therapist can tell you should you decide to listen. Most people with these disorders don't
"know" they have them unless they are diagnosed
by a doctor.
The only way you will get better, if you want to, is
to listen to your therapist, talk to your therapist
and heed their advice.
If you wish to remain the way that you are. Continue
not to listen. :)

i think i just wanna leave this world and
never come back. i HATE HATE HATE HATE my
family.you just dont know what ive been
through. its untakable. i just turned 13
a couple of months ago and im too young
to be dealing with this. my parents are
cheap selfish people and they wont buy
me ANY clothes. and thats against the law
you know. they have to provide me with clothing
but they dont. i already have 2 jobs but obviously
they cant pay for all the clothes i want.
all of my clothes have rips in them and they
arent even summer they are longsleeves and i
think im gunna fricking sweat to death in them.
this just isnt fair to me. i already pay for
EVERYTHING i get but clothing? thats just not
right. and theres no money problems in my
family whatsoever because my moms a lawyer and
my dad is the vice president of a bank. and how
selfish can they be to not even provide necessity
item to their daughter. im 13 i just dont think i
should be going through this. its ridiculous!
whats a number i can call to help me ?! no i would
never kill myself but ughh my parents ruin my life.

Wow. Drama.
So long as you aren't running around naked your
selfish rich parents (your words, not mine) don't legally HAVE to buy you anything to wear, as I'm sure your mom can tell you.
Even if they do buy you clothes, all they have to do is go to Walmart. There is no law that says they have to wrap you in designer clothes. Those, you can spend your own money on.
So long as you have food in your stomach, clothes on your back (yes, even those with rips), and a roof over your head, they are taking care of your basic needs. Grow up and be thankful for what you do have.

Okay so...
I have this really good friend that I've known all year and he is truly my best friend. Aaand, he's been going out with this other girl for about nine months now. And for about the last 5 months or so we've kind of...done some stuff. I really don't want to get too specific but we are definitely not 'just friends' anymore. Lets just say...I've finally seen my first penis >_< but we haven't had sex at all. I really, REALLY like this guy and he knows it, but I know he's completely in love with his girlfriend he has now. I don't even fully know how he feels about our thing, but I know that the only reason I let myself start doing this was because I figured it was the only chance I'd ever get to be with him. :( I've actually thought a lot about this, especially right when we were starting. I know its totally idiotic and stupid of me but I don't want to pull myself away from him. I know he has no intentions of leaving his girlfriend for me and I'm oddly okay with it. Like, for some reason I don't feel at all guilty about the whole thing. But that fact does make me feel bad.
I don't know, I haven't told a single person about this, not one. Its been kind of hard for me, and I just want to know...
what would you do if you were me? I know I'm probably the stupidest girl in the world for getting myself involved in this kind of crap, but I cant make myself want to stop. I'm such an idiot. :( (link)

Time for some facts here. You are going to get hurt.
You already know this guy is just using you. He
may be a true friend but if he is he isn't acting like one.
If you really want this guy you have to stop giving him the benefits of a girlfriend without actually being one. Why you ask? Because he has no incentive to leave her for you. He has the best of both worlds here and you are the one who's going to pay for it in the end.
He doesn't have to think about a thing.
If he isn't doing two girls, he is at least getting his jollies. The girlfriend thinks he is oh so sweet
for not pressuring her...he has it made.
You need to give him an ultimatum her or me.
You need to get tough and find someone who
cares for you and isn't just using you to get
what the girlfriend isn't giving.
You know if she finds out, you are the one who
will be labeled the bad guy right? Even if they
break up in this case, he will steer clear of you
to try and prove shes wrong. Gossip will have
you being the bad guy too. Even though that
isn't true. So many ways for you to be hurt in
this situation.
Hard as it is, you have to cut him loose. :)

You know the guy is pretty creepy looking but I have heard him talk about different things and he is
a very smart guy. He used to occasionally be a
guest on "Politically Incorrect" and I can say
I really enjoy hearing him talk about his views
on things. Even though I have never grown to like his music.
I couldn't find anyplace where they gave analyzes

70% of women will have at least one yeast infection in their lifetime. So it isn't unusual at all. There are a lot of sites with facts on them out there. If

16/f although I don't think you really need to know that for this question.
I had gotten sick a few weeks ago (about 2 to 2 and a half) and I went to the doctor on a Tuesday. He gave me medicine that didn't help. I I went back the following Sunday because I was still really sick and was having trouble breathing. It ended up becoming the begining stages of pneumonia (sp?). I was put on medicine then and the note thing on the medicine said take for 10 days. I started getting better but one night I forgot to take my medicine and my cough came back, I took it the next day though. The 10 days are up and I'm still really sore on my left side (where my ribs are) from coughing. I'm also still coughing a bit. I'm so sore that when I sleep if I accidentally roll on that side I wake up from the pain and it hurts so bad that I can't sit up without wanting to cry. Sometimes it hurts to breath, laugh, even walk.
If I still have medicine left am I okay to take it? Is this a question I should really call my pharmasist or doctor about? It probably is but for some reason I decided to ask you anyway. My mom said if it's still really bad I'll have to wait until Friday to go to the doctors again. I have exams and work all this week except Friday which is why I would have to wait until then.
Do you know of anything I would be able to do until then to help the pain stop with the area of my ribs (also a little bit of my lowed back on the left also). I'm not sure if I just bruised them from coughing really hard (there are no visable markings near where it hurts) or if I did more. A few years back my mom had such a bad cough she ended up breaking her ribs. I don't know if I'm just paranoid about that and I'm making the pain worse mentally or not.
Do you think pain meds (tylenol, ibuprofen, etc.) would help something like hurt ribs?
I plan on going to the doctor on Friday anyway, I was just hoping maybe you would have some suggestions on what I could do in the meantime. If not I'll try and call my pharmasist tomorrow or the next day.

You were probably given some sort of antibiotic
so you should take all you were given. If there are some left by all means take them. The pharmacy wouldn't have given you to many. Most antibiotics
are taken at least twice a day.
You really can get very sore ribs just from coughing. All those muscles around your rib cage
get used more than usual and can get really sore.
Ibuprofen is best for inflammations so if you have both,take it. Tylenol or aspirin will work to if
thats all you have.
If you are still hurting on Friday, by all means see your doctor. You can also call and ask to talk to your doctors nurse anytime. Tell her
whats going on and if she doesn't know the answer,
she will ask your doctor and call you back. They
really do not mind you doing this.

I have worked at a convenience store in the past so I can tell you for certain you need a photo ID with your date of birth on it. If you don't look at least 30 you will be carded. You can get a photo ID at the
same place you get a drivers license for a fee.
Most 18 year olds will have a DL so store clerks will be suspicious if you don't have one.

Thats what it does for women. Men shouldn't take
womens birth control pills.
They are working on a birth control pill for men.
Perhaps that is what you are hearing about. I don't
know that it is available yet. Here are lots of

15/m hi my name is ... well im not going to tell you but you can call me lonly& confused. before i start i would just like to let you know im really bad at typeing. well heres my problem. Im in love with someone who likes my best friend and idk if i shoud just go with it cuz i would rather her go out with him than some other slut. so ive been telling her things that arent exactly truthfull to make her happy because i love to see her happy. she means the world to me. im starting to think that im going crazy not really but like. im forgetting things so i save my convos from AIM and myspace so taht i can go back and see why she would be mad at me or whatever. well heres the big problem she likes my friend and i like her and her friend likes me. but i dont like her friend back. i dont want to lose her on the move to the highschool and i think im really good friends with her. im getting mixed messages from her and i cant tell whats real or whats fake. she told me that she dosnt tell people when she likes them so how am i suppoesd to know when she likes me if she dosent tell me. and she also said that she doesnt ask out people. so i dont want to seem like a total retard when i ask her out because of a sick joke. this is why i think im loseing it. shes really good friends with me and ive always liked her. but i need to know what to do. do i give up on her. and go out with the girl that i dont like but she likes me because it would be the nice thing to do. or do i try to get her to like me. if i try to get her to like me im going to end up hurt. but then again if i go out with her friend it would be easy but not what i want. and she thinks that my friend likes her as much as she likes him. but thats not true he used to like her but now he only wants to be friend. if someone could help me taht would be great. but i dont think anyone could handle what im going threw. I don't think you should go out
with her friend. If she likes you now,
it will only make her feel worse when
you end it. And you will if she isn't
the one you want to be with. It would
only make her like you more, and thats
not fair to her.
Its time to get real with the girl you
DO like. If your guy friend doesn't like
her she is wasting her time. Just sit her
and tell her he only likes her as a friend.
Tell her you like her as more than a friend,
and would really like to be her boyfriend.
She might turn you down, thats a risk you just
have to take. Being in limbo and not knowing
is driving you bonkers. If she does say no,
at least you can stop worrying about it.
Continue being friends anyway, because once
you let her know how you feel, she will see
you differently. That could be good for you.
Because she could change her mind soon. :)

Most doctors will prescribe anti-depressants. In the United States anyway. They probably shouldn't be able too but they can. They aren't supposed to prescribe meds for ADD either but some do.

So, I have been going out with this guy, for a little over three weeks. He told me that he can't see us in the long-term having a relationship because I'm an atheist and he's a catholic. What Russ says is it exactly. He wants to continue
having all the "benefits" of whatever kind of relationship you have now. However, he is telling
you he will never marry you. Basically, this is a dead end relationship.
People who have very strong religious feelings
will never marry an atheist. To them, what you believe is wrong and they want future children brought up to believe as they do.
I'm not saying what you believe is right or wrong,
but that is how this particular boy feels.
In a way, while it may hurt you now, it was good that he told you now instead of waiting longer.
I think the best thing for you to do is to find
another guy. Don't let this one have the benefits best reserved for someone who cares about you regardless of religious beliefs. :)

So i went to the Health Dept. Last week and they said I had BV. (Bacterial Vaginitis) I know that it is completely normal and can happen as easily as a yeast infection.
They told me it is not an STI so I dont understand why with the antibiotic Metronidazole it will not go away. I mean I still have a discharge and its been 1 week on the pills.
What could be the problem?

There are a lot of antibiotics out there. Some work best for one thing and some another. They also come in different dosages. Doctors will err on the side of giving you a low dose.
It is possible you may have to take it a little longer or the doctor may give you something totally
different. It would be the same for any infection.
So don't worry about it. The diagnosis won't change,
but the antibiotic might. :)

Don't panic. You are probably just fine.
The problem originated when Super absorbent tampons were new. That isn't saying you can't still get TSS but the real problem now days is when a woman puts one in and then just forgets she did. It happens more often than you think. So as long as you have removed it I think you will be OK. Just don't make a habit of it. :)
