I like fairies (thus why I am wearing fairy wings in the picture). Good grammar rocks, too. It doesn't have to be perfect but I get frustrated when people completely disregard it. I like every color except pink. I hate the wind. Sometimes, I carry around a little teddy bear I found at an antique store. His name is Robert. I dress very eccentrically. It's not unusual for me to wear a prairie dress one day and a Mod dress (think Austin powers) the next. I don't dye my hair, or wear much make-up. I think it's sad that no one puts any emphasis on natural beauty anymore. I think it's a good thing to be open and educated about sex and other issues that are considered taboo. I have a hard time seeing where homophobics are coming from.

okay im 13/f and for a while now i've really really liked this boy, Jimmy, and he did like me but since he found out i liked him so much different things amd problems have been happening. I've got rid of all of them but now there's a new one. My friend ask his friend, mitch why jimmy wouldn't go out with me. All he said was that he thinks he won't go out with me cause all i'll do is f*** him an then leave him! But that's totally not true! Since last year i've been known as a sl*t and I hate it! It's not true! But now so many boys are believeing the rumers that go around about me. I want to tell Jimmy that i wouldn't do that and i really like him but how would i go about doing that?

You might not want to be after someone who is so apt to believe nasty rumors about you, if that is the real reason he is afraid of dating you.
The only way to really go about it if you really want him to know what you think is to tell him yourself. Tell him he shouldn't believe everything he hears and that you're not anything close to being a slut. (well, hopefully, since you're 13). If you can think of any nasty rumors that went around about him, you can bring them up and say that it never stopped you from respecting him before and he should do the same for you. If he won't budge and still believes the rumor then the trust needed to begin a relationship will not be there, so it won't be worth trying after that...

I am really bad at seperating boyfriends from friends. Is the only difference between having a boyfriend and having guy friends is that you can kiss and hold hands with your boyfriend? Well, the most obvious one is a missed period, so if you have sex a week before your period is supposed to come, then the symptoms will show up earlier than if your period isn't supposed to come for 3 weeks.
Other than that, the symptoms vary with the person and can be associated with so many other things that it's hard to tell.

so i tried out for my first musical, actually my first anything, and i found out from some people that i was not a good singer at all. i think it was cause i was really nervous but i mostly think its just cause i dont sing good.well i always wnated to get a careerer in acting and theater like that. i just want advice/ your opinions about if i could still pursue my dream to be famous in theater even if i do sing horribly. because that same friend told me that i was amazing at acting. thanks! It is important to get lessons in both acting and singing if you are serious about a career in the field. If you think you suck, get a voice teacher, and if you're already good at acting, stick to trying out for the plays instead of the musicals. Also, you sound like you might be into broadway. Dance experience is good to acquire as well.
Edit: and just some realistic advice, you said you don't have any experience with acting, and yet you want a career in acting?... It seems to me that you like it for the superficial reasons...how do you even know you want to do that for a living if you haven't even actually taken any initiative to pursue it? You think people are just going to drop in one day and say, hey, you have no experience but you should be in our play!!! ... no. Don't take interest in it just because you want to be famous. I could be reading this the completely wrong way but I've been working my ass off in theatre during high school and so it seems weird that someone who has no acting experience would know enough about it to dedicate their life/career/whatever to it.

Ok, I'm about to have sex for the first time. I've been waiting for ages and I am prepared now. My boyfriend has had sex before a few times so I need a little help on stuff:

It depends on the person. I thought there would be a lot of blood but I actually didn't bleed. Have a towel or something underneath you that you don't mind having stained just in case.
It hurt me incredibly bad the first time. I suggest that you take advil about a half hour beforehand and use KY jelly or something. You probably know this by now, but make sure there is a lot of foreplay and that you are relaxed and turned on, or else you'll be tensed up and dry and that just makes it 10x more painful.
You won't look stupid. He should understand that it's your first time and you're perfectly allowed to just lie there writhing in pain (if there is a lot for you). You're not going to be good, or anywhere near good your first time, so don't even try to be...don't try to go out of your comfort zone to impress him.
Once it's over? I don't know. Relax, or shower, if there's a mess.

Hey...maybe it's rude, but some of these questions the people could have easily answered themselves if they used an ounce of common sense, so it's hard not to laugh at them. I try to humor the people, but sometimes there will be one that I can't resist mocking a little bit, like when it's so incoherent I have to read it 10 times just to understand what the hell they're asking. I figure, if you want us to take the time to give you good advice, you should take the time to make your question make sense.

I broke up with my boyfriend about 4 months ago. Since about the week of our break up, I've been hanging out with one of his best friends, and we've become extremely close. I'm beginning to fall for him, and likewise... but whenever this happens, I change my mind. I like the challenge, but once the other person starts to have feelings for me too, I'm bored and don't like them anymore. I really don't want to do that this time... because I really care about him.

Why don't you explain this to the guy? It would help for him to know and maybe it would help him not throw himself at you and make you lose interest. Also, it would be best to drag out the time before you actually date him, so that when you go out with him, you will have stayed interested so long that you are practically sure that nothing will fade.

One of my friends likes this guy, and while I was at her house I started talking to him on AIM; we had a good conversation, so when i got home I asked for his sn, because we got along pretty well. I've been talking for him for two or three weeks, now and I'm starting to get the feeling that I may like him. Well if you went after him you would kind of be stealing him from her...I mean, you started talking to him at HER house, and she trusted you not to do anything like this when she gave you his screen name.
I think you should just ignore it and find someone else to like, maybe even stop talking to him. It's not so hard since you really haven't known him that long yet. Your friend might stop liking him within a month or two anyway, and then you'll be in the clear. You really shouldn't risk your friendship over it though, especially if it's something you aren't "positive" about.

I was in a long distance relationship with a guy for 8 months. I met him at a summer camp 2 summers ago and we started dating in July. We saw each other 2 times during our relationship, then I surprised him once and visited his church this past summer after we broke up in April. He was my first kiss and my first love. I've had a boyfriend since we broke up, because I thought I was over him. He's one of my best friends and we still talk all of the time. I got over him because I didn't think he loved me anymore. This year, I'm taking the SAT. I've taken the PSAT and didnt do as well as I thought I could. How can I prepare for it, because I am very busy with sports, clubs, AND AP classes!! Also, what topics are there? Like what do I need to know for the math, reading, and writing parts?

Buy a book on it. Every major book store has them. Tutors and classes are a waste of time and money, from what I've heard. That way, you can just study on your own time rather than work your whole schedule around it. The books will generally tell you what you need to know for each section.
History AP tests are known to be some of the hardest because of all the details. They have books on how to study for those, too, probably very close to the SAT books. Make sure all of your materials like your notes are organized and in order when you begin studying, which should be well before the AP test. Cramming all the studying into one week probably won't cut it. Good luck with it.

There really is nothing you're "supposed" to be. Feelings are feelings and they'll be there whether you want them there or not.
I know a lot of teenagers who are depressed a lot. I was at a lot of points. Your hormones are raging and that causes a lot of mood swings and confusion which can be really frustrating. Not to mention, other teenagers being stupid and immature don't make it that much better, so it doesn't help to be immersed in a negative environment constantly.
