could i be pregnant without having sex?! PLEASE READ.
i'm 15 years old & i haven't gotten my period for about two months. i've been having it since september 2004 & it's been sort of normal for about 8 months. i'm a virgin & i know this is going to sound extrememly juvenile but is there some way that i could be pregnant without having sex? as i said, i don't mean to sound juvenile but i've heard people say things like, "it's in the water" & is it actually possible? i'm just really nervous, & i'm racking my brain for an answer. could it just be that my period isn't on time? i haven't really been eating any differently. please don't treat me like an idiot, i'm just scared.

In your case it isn't possible to be pregnant. If you haven't been in sexual contact with anyone then it would be impossible! I can totally sympathize with you because i know i would be freaking out if that same thing happened tyo me. Everyone's period pattern is different and it may just be an irregular pattern and won't come this month. don't worry about, it's nothing bad, but just to be sure, and to make yourself feel better, you might want to check out the pregnancy test by yourself.

The answer is yes. But in your case, no. You can not get pregnant without sperm. If you havent been in contact with it, don't worry. I know this is scary. Since we know youre not pregnant, i would wait a little while longer. if it doesnt come, you need to tell you mom so you can go to the gyno. Simple problems can get serious if you don't get it checked out. Your period could just be a little irregular due to stress, etc.

No, if you haven't been sexually active then there's no way you are pregnant. There are a million and two reasons as to why you haven't had it. Its probably just some health reasons. If you go to your doctor, I'm sure they can figure it out and get you back on track.

Don't worry about it. Missing your period for one to three months, especially in the first few years, is completely normal. If you undergo a lot of stress or you start exercising a lot, or even just hormonal changes, can trigger that. You cannot get pregnant if you haven't had sex, unless you've been fooling around and the guy cums really close to the opening, in which case there is a miniscule chance. Semen need bodily fluids to live in, they cannot just stay alive in water, on skin, or anywhere else. If you miss your period more than one more time, I'd see a doctor.

Don't worry hun! There is no possible way you can be pregnant. Your periods will get on track soon and come in a regular pattern. I know you don't want to but I think you should calmly explain to your mom what is going on so she can take you to a gynacologist.

Actually i think most girls fear this at one time or another, so theres nothing juvenile about you being scared. ^.^ and since you say you are not sexually active, then you are not pregnent... and if you were ever pregnent you would know because you get all sick and stuff.. very unplesint , lol so i hope this helps you!

No way is there any way that you can get pregnant if you haven`t had sex, && since your not even sexually active, there`s a 1OO% way that you can`t get pregnant. Your periods are going to be irregular(sp?). You`ll get your period soon, so don`t worry so much. =)

Hey. You deffinately arent pregnant. What this could be is that your period is isnt on schedule yet. Since you havent had it for long. Do you play sports? If you do that could also be the reason. When you play sports your period can be very unregular. If your period doesnt show up for longer than 3 months you should really talk to a doctor. It could be that you need to take birth control pills... casue they help regulate your period.

"It's in the water," we're talking about guys, lol it's everywhere. But it has to directly enter you. You can't get pregnant from drinking it, silly! You're a virgin, so stop being concerned. It's 100.1% likely that it's just stress that's messing up your menstrual cycle. You're 15, and way too young to even be worried. Hun, so try to move on, and don't think about it. Worst comes to worst, calm yourself down by getting a pregnancy test, you'll see your real results. And if it still doesn't come in a few months, I suggest seeing a doctor (or gyno.)

My friend has her period like clockwork, every month on the fifth. But she didn't get hers for four months and she had the same worries as you at 17! You can only get pregnant if his cum enters. I'm pretty sure you would know if you were pregnant. Also, because your only 13, your period is most likely just not on a normal schedule yet. dont worry you cant be pregnant.. the same thing happened to me.. i went to the doctors for it and i didnt get it because i was too active.. are you in any sports? if your really active it slows down the process.. you'll eventually get it.. i suggest going to the doctors like i did.

you definitely aren't pregnant. the only way to become pregnant is to have unprotected sex. semin can't live outside the body very long so there is no chance of getting pregnant from anywhere else. i know you may not want to, but you should tell your mom and go see a doctor. it is either just off track or something else.

dont worry you arent preggo! i have the same problem. i just turned 16 last month and my period has been extremely irregular and ive had it for 3 years. i would say if its not normal at all my the time you turn 17 see a doctor. thats what my doc said. she said ebcause i was alteast getting my period everyone once and a while i was okay and if it didnt get any better within 6 monthes she was going to put me on birth control (it regulates or your periods)

Many things can contribute to your period not being on time-- stress, if your weight is fluctuating, etc. You CAN be pregnant without having sex (say, if the guy has ejaculated & got it on his hand then fingered you), but if you've only masturbated, you're fine (unless you have magical sperm-producing fingers, in which case I suggest you sell yourself to science ASAP). There's no reason to buy a pregnancy test.

inbetwine the age you get it and about 20 your period can have a pattern, then just stop, then go, back and forth. dont worry about it. you might not have your period of a while, then all of a sudden get it. it dosent follow a pattern until you get older.

Rest assured if you have not engaged in sexual activity of any sort (i.e. there's been no contact with a man's sexual organs) then you are NOT pregnant. It's physically impossible. As for that water thing, sperm can only last so long outside a human body (they need a specific temperature) and the journey they have to make is long and difficult and impossible outside of sexual intercourse (masturbation is fine; no way to get pregnant from it) I would encourage you to examine your life...Are you under any extreme stress? Are you on some sort of medication? Have you moved recently (especially to a different time zone that can affect your bodily cycles)? Things like this can change your cycle. But, from what you've said, it seems impossible that you could be pregnant. Don't be scared.
