Under the "send" button on an AIM screen theres a little bar with 3 red, 2 yellow and a bunch of green squares. Does it do anything & why is it there? (link)

yes it does. It tells you how many ims you can send. If you send a lot of messages too quickly it goes down to red and you can't send anymore untill you wait for it to build back up to green. If you go to direct instant message then it diappears.

Basically, you can start baby sitting at whatever age you think you're ready. If your mature enough to handle a young person and take responsibility for all of their actions then you're ready. The thing is you have to remember that you are in charge of the person's life. Once you think you can handle then then your ready.
P.S. if you're not sure then try baby sitting with a friend frist!

well in this situation, the best thing to do would be to decide who you love more and who loves you back. Try not to make a bad choice in this because you might regret not picking that person. Take as while to think about which one you love more and also the consequences of going out with them since some arent single. I hope I helped!

I think that you should try curling it or maybe if you dont have them already get long bangs...you could also pull it up or half up...try playing around with it one day and see all the different things you can do...Hope I Helped!

I'm 14/f and latly I've been wanting a boyfrined soooooo freaking much, I just want someone to make me laugh, hold me, like me for me, protect me, just a guy to be there for me. It's not like my whole school has a boyfriend or girlfriend there only like err...4 mabye 6 couples that have been dating for a while. Also I'll be attracted to this guy and I can't stop thinking about them then like one day I'm like ew wtf was i thinking liking him. I just don't get why I like a guy one momment and then the next not so much and I want a boyfriend soo bad and it seems like my friends are quite as obsesed as I am with guys and wanting a boyfriend so is this normal? What your going through is completly narmal in fact i just went through the same thing. Love isn't just about getting a boyfriend because you just "want" one its about falling in love with one person and loving them forever. When you find the right one your not going to say "eww" after so i guess you just haven't found him yet...you will some day though. I Hope I Helped.

Chicken Sofrito (Stir-Fried)
Recipe Cuisine: Spanish

Recipes Ingredients:
2 ts Olive oil, divided
1 Pkt instant Chicken broth
1/2 c Finely chopped onion
-and seasoning mix
1/4 c Finely chopped green bell
1 ts Oregano leaves
-pepper 1/4
ts Each salt and black pepper
2 Garlic cloves, minced
1/8 ts Ground red pepper
1 1/4 c Drained canned Italian
9 oz Skinned and boned chicken
-tomatoes, seeded and
-breasts, cut into
Finely chopped 3
ea 1/2-inch strips
3/4 c Water
4 Pimiento stuffed green
1/2 c Sliced mushrooms
-olives, sliced crosswise
1 oz Julienne-cut Canadian-style
1/2 oz Shelled almonds, lightly
-bacon (thin strips)
-toasted and ground
2 tb Sherry
Recipe Instructions:
In 10-inch Skillet heat 1 teaspoon oil over medium-high heat, add onion, bell pepper and Garlic and saute until onion is translucent, 2 to 3 minutes. Add remaining ingredients except Chicken and olives and stir to combine. Reduce heat to low, cover, and let simmer, stirring occasionally, for 15 minutes. While tomato mixture is cooking, in separate 10-inch nonstick Skillet heat remaining teaspoon oil over medium-high heat; add Chicken and stir-fry until golden brown on all sides. Transfer to sauce, add olives and stir to combine. Increase heat to medium and cook until Chicken is cooked through and Sauce is thickened, 5 to 6 minutes. Serve sprinkled with ground almonds. 1 Green pepper, diced
3 c Water
4 Tomatoes, diced
1/4 c Wine
1 Onion, diced
3 ts Lemon juice
3 Garlic cloves, minced
1 Scallion, diced fine
Recipe Instructions:
Puree all ingredients, except scallion, in blender. Add a little more water if too spicy. Strain, discarding any Vegetable pieces that did not puree fully. Chill overnight. Serve in chilled glasses or bowls with diced scallion floating on top. Serves 4. Posted by Fred Peters.
Flaming Eggs

Recipes Ingredients:
1 tb Olive oil
220 g Crushed tomatoes
1/2 sm Onion
1 tb Tomato paste
1/2 sm Red pepper
3 Eggs
1/2 ts Chopped red chilli
1 tb Parsley
Recipe Instructions:
Preparation time: 25 minutes Cooking time: 25 minutes 1. Preheat the Oven to 160C. Heat the oil in a medium pan, add the onion and cook over a medium heat until soft and lightly golden. Add the pepper and chilli and cook for a further 2-3 minutes. Add the tomato paste and cook , uncovered, over a low heat for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally. 2. Transfer the tomato mixture into a shallow, ovenproof dish. Using the bowl of a Soup spoon, press two hollows into the mixture to hold the eggs (one per number of servings). One-by-one break each Egg into the hollows. 3. Bake for 20-30 minutes or until the whites are set and the yolks are still soft. 4. Sprinkle with parsley and serve immediately.
Paella a la Alicantina
Recipe Cuisine: Spanish

Recipes Ingredients:
7 tb Good olive oil
-chopped
3 md Green peppers, chopped
1 lb Rice
3 Cloves garlic, peeled and
Saffron
-minced
Sweet (Spanish) paprika
3 Tomatoes, peeled and chopped
1 Qt. water
8 Young, tender artichokes,
1 lb Pork, diced
Recipe Instructions:
Salt Heat the oil in a large Skillet and fry the peppers lightly and quickly to avoid burning them. Set them aside. In the same oil, fry the garlic, tomatoes and artichokes over low heat. Add the Rice and stir, then add the saffron and paprika. Add the water and salt to taste. When it begins to boil, add the Pork and let the mixture cook vigorously. Puree the fried peppers with a little water and add to the rice. Continue cooking, without stirring, until the Rice is half done, then reduce the heat and cook slowly until finished. This Rice should be cooked, dry and have the grains separate (rather than stuck together).
Spanish White Bean Soup
Recipe Cuisine: Spanish

Recipes Ingredients:
1 lb White beans, dried
1/2 ts Thyme, dried
16 c Water, divided
1 ts Olive oil
2 1/2 lb Ham hocks, 4 hocks
1 1/2 c Carrots, chopped
1 1/4 c Leeks, diced
1 1/2 c Turnips, cubed
2 c Onions, chopped
1/4 c Coriander, fresh, chopped
1 ts Garlic, chopped
Recipe Instructions:
1. Inspect the beans for imperfections or stones and rinse them under cold water. Place in a Soup pot with 4 cups water. Bring to a boil and cook 10 minutes. Remove from the heat and cool 30 minutes. 2. Drain the beans and return them to the Soup pot with the remaining 12 cups water. Add the Ham hocks, cover, and bring to a boil. Reduce to a simmer. 3. Meanwhile, saute the leeks, onions, Garlic and thyme in the olive oil over medium heat until wilted, about 5 minutes. Add to the Soup pot. 4. Cook, covered, 1-1/2 hours. Add the carrots and turnips and cook 30 minutes. 5. Remove the hocks and cool. When cool enough to handle, remove the Meat from the bones, discarding the fat. Add the Meat to the pot. 6. Add the coriander and serve. Yield: 8 to 10 servings. Recipe from "Cuisine Rapide" from Pierre Franey and Brian Miller.

Ok so here is the problem I have a serious crush on this boy let's call him Kyle. I am 14 so it's not just some stupid little kid thing, and no he isn't super popular. He's just there. He's always teasing me he likes to call me a turuturu. (they are cute little made up creatures) The main problem is I know he doesn't like me as more than a friend because he's gay. wow this is a pretty hard thing to deal with. In your case, I would have to try to get over him. I know that can be VERYY hard to do but you really have to try. Think about someone else and just be friends with Kyle. You may want to not spend so much time with Kyle anymore though because then you'll grow even more attached...Hope I Helped!!

well lately my sister has been thrwing away her lunch and buying all this junk at the BP across the road from our school. she has no money cause it is sending her broke andhas been stealing it from me and my mum. I tried to tell mum about it without dobbing her in but mum just syas stop dobbing on your sister and takes it as a joke. i talked to my sister about it but she jut tells me to get lost. i am sruck in the middle cause it is my money getting pinched. i have tried hiding the money but my mum puts our weekly tuckshop money on the bench and my sister pinches it fromm there before i get it. then i dont get tuckshop. what should i do? You should sit your mom down and explain to her exactly whats going on. If she says your joking around then MAKE her listen. If that doesn't work then you should ask your mom to give the money to you directly and then you could keep it in a safe spot. If those things don't work then you can MAKE your sister listen to you or you can steal her weekly money before she gets to it and make her see how it feels.

I brought my friend to church with me, becuase i talk about all these people, my "best friends" at church, so i wanted her to meet them. When we walk in, all of my "best friends ever" completly ignore us, even while im introducing them. It takes the friend that i brought to come up to me and say "did i do something wrong?!" before i completly loose it. I start crying and just break down. then, my "best friends" get all concerned, and even more concerned when i ignore them. what do you think i should do about them? (link)

I think you should ask them what is going on or at least one of them (( the one you can trust the most )) . If that doesn't work then you should try not talking to them for a while and see how they like it.
