Silence kills
I just got a new boyfriend the other day, and when we talk our convos usually start and end at "Hey you, how are ya?" ... What are somethings I could say to get the conversation to move on?

well if you dont know him that well jst tru to know him more by asking him about his family and life but if you know him just try to make the convo a little temped up like (you know that without you in my life ive could of been lost) (i dont know what happens to me when i see your eyes)lol (I LOVE YOU) thats what makes a guy think of you more

What you should do is you should start totalk to him about sports and some things you know he likes. Talk about anything you think he likes and get to know him more.

If you want someone to talk more, ask open ended questions. Don't ask things that can be answered with a yes or a no.
For example: If you ask "How was your day"? He will probably answer "fine" instead ask "Tell me about your day?"
Sometimes if you leave some space or silence in the conversation people will think they have to fill it, and start talking.

ask questions like whats your favorite blank. duscuss things. Just be relaxed.

Try stuff like hey how was your day? and wanna hear a joke!? or stuff like omg did you hear what so and so said!
