Gatorade Is gatorade healthier/better than water?

gatorade actually has suger which is not good for you.. stay with water.. it flushes everything bad out of your body and its good for you ]
NO there is nothing better for you in the world than water. Even if you are training and doing strenuous activity stick to water instead of that sugar filled water garbage. You will never see any serious bodybuilder or anyone who really knows how to stay fit ever drinking Gatorade when they are training or sitting around. Don't listen to the ads...just keep on drinking water. ]
it depends what you are doing
if you are just sitting around watching TV. i wouldnt drink a ton and ton of gatorade. because gatorade has a ton of salt in it. and that's not good if you are just being lazy.
but if you are playing a sport, or moving around that gatorade is fine to drink.
but if you are at a sports game, make sure to bring a bottle of water if you bring a bottle of gatorade. because too much gatorade can make you dehydrated.

No, water is healthier than gatorade. Gatorade is only meant to give you extra energy and electrolytes and water is what will hydrate you. ]
If your running it is better to drink it.

well it depends on if you're excercising or not. Gatorade has electrolytes (idk if i spelled that right) and water doesnt. If you're exercising a lot it's better to have Gatorade. But water won't kill you, there's nothing wrong with it.
And of course, Gatorade has sugar in it, so if you're diabetic and can't have any sugar, dont drink Gatorade (duh).

Water is healthier, of course, because it doesn`t have any sugar while gatorade on the other hand has some. Gatorade is better when you are excerising.

If you are exercising, then yes. If not, then no, it's sugary, but it replenishes electrolytes, but that's bad if you aren't using electrolytes. Overall, you can't go wrong with water! ]

well from my knowledge water is healthier because it has nothing in it and gatorade has sugar in it..
but from what i know gatorade.. if you were to be exercising then drink water because gatorade will lower yor pulse rate.

gatorade has stuff you need after you lose energy (this is comming from my biology teacher) but if your just gonna sit on the couch and drink it thinking it will keep you healthy, you're wrong. water is better because your body has so much water/demand for water. <3 ]

No. Gatorade has some sugar (but it's still healthy), but water has none.

depends on what you are looking for. it is better for you for like athletics but it has more sugar than water. if you are looking to loose weight go with water but if you want a healthier alternative to use or soda try gatorade. also propel has less sugar than gatorade which would make that healthier ]

Gatorade is always good when you exercise, because you lose lots of sweat, and your liquid in your body needs to be replaced by carbohydrates & sodium, [which you lose when exercising.] Gatorade is mostly made up of water though. =] But, it is not better then water. ]
gatorade is good to drink after you work out, while you are working out it dehidrates you. Or thats what the wrestling coach told me at my school. Go for water while you're working out, and then to get your energy back up and replace all that stuff you lost while you sweat drink gatorade.

No it's not. Water is healthier then any sports drink. ]
No it isn't.
Gatorade (and the other "sports" drinks) is made to replace electrolytes lost when you sweat a lot.
So, for everyday, unless you are really doing a hard workout or are sweating a lot for any reason, water is the thing you want to be drinking. :) ]
