i HATE showers...they just seem like a waste of time for me. Does anyone know any ways that will make showering fun?? no sarcastic answers please. Thanks

Wow, you hate showers? It's one of my favorite parts of the day, lol. Don't think of taking a shower as a chore, but instead as a way to relax. Get a nice lofa and some good body wash; it feels good to be all lathered up in a good soap. Try lighting up the bathroom with just candles, that's very soothing. Try singing, that's always fun; or get a shower radio. You could also try bath tub color crayons for kids and draw pictures on the wall. If you just hate getting up early in the moring to take one, then take showers at night.

Well, I hated showers too until I got a shower radio and those are fun cuz you can tune it to your fav radio station and sing to the songs lol. And one time I was even dancing and slipped and that hurt, so don't dance :).

I personally rather like showers because of the warm water. Mmmmmm.... Anyway, given that electronics are out, you're pretty much stuck with what you've got, which consists of you (I'm going to leave out the obvious suggestion ; ), some soaps and things, and a shower stall. I find that soaps are not inherently interesting but that if one has a shower stall with small tiles of different shades or colors, one can spend hours finding shapes in it. However, this is not everybody's idea of a good time.

Oh just get in there, wash and get out. 5 minutes isn't gonna hurt you much! Sing!
oh, and just to be on the safe side since you didn't mention your age.Twynelyne had a good idea, but don't put stereo in there that you have to plug in. You knew that, right? Otherwise YOU WILL NEVER HAVE TO WORRY ABOUT TAKING A SHOWER EVER AGAIN! :)

oh thats simple, put a stereo in your shower and jam to whatever u like. it will make it a lil more enjoyable and help u relax

well at a sertin age us kids lol dont like to shower but once you get alittle older you start taking them automatically.
But fun ways? you can make lots of foam with the soap! lol

Showers are important. They are NOT a waste of time. You are not 4. Bathing does not need to be made a game for you. Grow up and use some hygene. Jump in the shower, lather up, rinse off and thats it. It's quite simple.

i used to be like that .. when i was like 5..but i still showerd, cuz i knew i had to. i donno. maybe you should listen to music while you shower.. or something like that. because you have to shower.. that is just kind of .. yuckky if you dont. so listen to music.. or take the 15 min that you shower to relfect on your day.. or think about stuff. who you like. your friends. what you did today. what you wanted to do.. stuff like that

Ok so you hate showers.....nobody said that you have to like taking showers. I sometimes find it a nuisance myself!! But here is the deal. Personal hygiene is a MUST. There is just so much bacteria, viruses, dirt, and grime that you pick up all over the place. I'll give you an example.... Have you ever heard of pin worms? Well pin worms are little worms that crawl out of your anus at night when you are sleeping. The target for these pin worms are infants/toddlers who don't wash their hands properly. Now, I am not saying that you will get pin worms, but if they are a result of a kid not washing his/her hands, then what about if you don't go taking showers...what kind of "bugs" will you pick up then?.... In my perspective, take the 5 minute shower....blast the radio, sing, work on your dance moves, "polish the german helmet" do whatever you have to do, because respectively speaking, the 5 min. shower is a hell of a lot better than little worms crawling out of your ass at night.

Aw come on, they're not a waste of time. Hygiene is important! lol. Do you know why we bathe? We have so much junk of our bodies, it's not funny. We shed skin cells each day, we sweat, get get dirt on ourselves, we're surrounded by germs, lice and so much more. The least you can do is cleanse yourself each day. Just keep this in mind the next time you don't want to take a shower.
Also, the day you get a boyfriend or a girlfriend (If you don't have one already), you'll want to smell teriffic for them. And when you do get one, think about them while you're in the shower/bath while you prep yourself up for them ;)
You can make showering fun by singing, acting out a scene, putting a radio in the bathroom, getting scented candles, scented soap/body gel, all that good stuff. Makes you feel good about showering. If you're the thinker type, think about what has happened in your day, reflect back on everything, think about the future, pick a topic and debate it out with yourself etc. Or you can try a bubble bath. I hope you enjoy showers/baths more!

Just know that if you DONT take a shower, you wont smell good lol. I used to hate them too. What I do is, and hell, im not afraid to say it: I sing in the shower lol. Try that or something else to pass the time. xO ali

Well, you can sing, dance, bring in a portable CD player in your bathroom while you take a shower so you can listen to music, buy bathtub sets and use them, use a body wash that smells better, and that will make showering more fun.

Um ok heres the dealio! I dont know anyone who can say that they LOVE taking showers like all the time, but its just something that your going to have to do~ well I guess you dont have to do it, but you SHOULD. Anyway, just sing, or buy a little shower radio (FREDS) they are all over the place. They really help when your bored in there! Good luck!

Try getting a shower radio and tuning it to your favorite radio station. Then you can dance and sing in the shower! You could also get a really nice smelling soap or shower gel and a pouf or something along those lines. Maybe just walk around the bath aisle of a store and look to find stuff that might entertain you. ♥ Kristen

Believe it or not- music that you love makes it go quicker and it's more fun! Of course, you'd need to put your cd player loud outside of your shower, or if you have a special made CD player thingie or radio in your shower from like Sharper Image [it hangs up on a hook, I don't think they're alot of money]. Hhaha, I really have to work myself up to take one too. (I take one everyday, grr) Anyway, what I do is write stuff on the door & windows. (Because they're clear, and the heat from the water makes them foggy & you can write on them) If your shower isn't the type with windows to write on, then I don't really know what to do. Sometimes I use those waterproof CD players and play music, it seems to make the shower go faster.

Cool-smelling soap and cute animal-shaped scrub thingies. Also, singing or playing music in a CD player is fun. When I shower, I go into daydream mode and basically think about anything. I've been doing that since I was little, only when I was little I would pretend I was a mermaid playing with fish and now I pretend I'm an unsuspecting young girl in a horror movie and an evil brain-eating zombie is about to to grab me from behind. Whatever works for you. =)

get a shower radio, try a bath instead of a shower, get a fun loofah or however you spell it, or change the pressure for how it comes out so it feels like a back massage! hoep this helps! xxo!
