I just moved to a new state and i do not know a lot of people and i want to babysit in my spare time. but i do not know how to get the word out that i will be able to babysit?help me please!

Put up flyers in you neighbor hood or around your house. I wouldn't suggest putting them very far from your house, because you dont really want to babysit kids on the other side of town, do you?

Make a flyer to put out in mailboxes with those who have kids. Or, if you're really good with little kids play with them outside first and work you way up. If they like you ask the parents if they ever need a babysitter that you're free.

hmmm..put up a notice on a board in school..maybe a teacher(or ask a teacher) will use you. Have you met any freinds yets??ask them if they know of anyone..sometimes babystiier have weekly comittmen and they need to get someon to hlpe them or other paresnts want them to sit...

That sounds like a good way to get noticed in a new town and everything!! Maybe try putting fliers up on the street sign on the corners or something, but b4 that if your mom works you could have her see if any of the poeple she works with have kids that might need it, that way it helps you out with all the work of Posting!

Maybe if there is a local bulliten (i have no idea how to spell it) board in your town you can post some flyers for babysitting on it. Put your phone number and how much you charge on it. I hope i helped. Good luck with the biz.

make flyiers and pass them out by putting them in peoples mail boxes (after the mail person has came is a good idea) or placing them on the front steps or on the front door. you can place flyiers in public places and on telephone poles, shop windows will sometimes let you and so will some gas stations. you can also try the library. sometimes they have a place that you can put up flyiers.

Ohh... i Just mOved this summer... and i did the same thing as tinkerbell said... i typed up flyers that said i was 16-f experienced babysitter and put them in people's mailboxes... i ended up getting a full time babysitting job earing over 3000 dollas that summer! so do that and make sure to include your phone number... families are always looking for babysitters so you'll be sure to get calls! good luck huN!

well, if you have a younger sibling, then offer to his/her new friends parents your baby sitting serveses.
hang posters in elementary schools, or like local preschools and places like that.

A great way to get the word out about you wanting to babysit is to put your name, number, and how you want to baby sit on a bunch of tabs and pin them onto a board at a grocery store or a gas station. I've even see people do it in laundrymats.
