My brother is gay
My brother is gay and a lot of people will always mention about it. They make fun of me because he's gay.. They keeps sayin Ohhh Your brothers GaY!!! and sometime's it doesn't bother me.. but other times it does. Surprisingly, most people are cool with it and say he's the coolest person they ever met.. what should i do!?

well there is nothing you can do about him being gay! just be like so what? try not to let it get to you becuase nothing you can do will chnage that, once they see it dosent bug you , i bet they will stop trying to tease you like that!

hey hun. well here is something that i can totally help you with!! my father is gay and to be honest with you.. i wouldnt have it any other way! people use to talk about it all the time and say things, at first when i was younger it bothered me alot. but now that im 16 it doesnt even phase me when they say something bad. my dad is the greatest man that i know and because of the fact that he is gay i have become the strongest person ever. heck that is one reason why i love to talk to people and help them with their problems. i am so lucky to have him in my life and i know that you feel the same way about your brother. i am the least superficial (caring what others think about me or my looks or anything) person that you could meet. i am myself and happy with life. if my dad wasnt gay i fear that i would be the stuck up cheerleader that gives the bad reputation to people like me. i am a former cheerleader but i wasnt the ditzy blonde bitch. i look at life and the fact that my ddad is gay as a miracle. i can proudly say that i love and accept him for who he is. not only can i accept him, i can accept myself for who i am. so what i think you should do, is be happy for your brother and be glad that he can be who he wants to be. continue being supportive and stop worrying what others think! be proud of him! love him!

Don't do anything. You can't change your brother. You can't change ignorant people's minds. Show them it doesn't bother you when they say stupid things about your brother. Eventually they'll stop. (I'm sure there only doing that to piss you off anyway) Or you can let them meet your brother. Once they see how a cool guy your brother is, they'll stop.

Tell them to shove it up yours. They are probly way immature and you probably can't do anything. Go along with me. Next time somebody says that say "Yea, now we can look at boys together!" make a joke out of it. They will enventully leave you alone because you 'show' that it dosn't matter if they say that. You should ignore people who use your gay brother to make fun of you. Maybe they're joking, who knows, but as far as I know I'd be mad if they continued to bring up my family's sexual preference. If it continues to bother you you should tell those people who continuously go "Ohh your brother's gay!" that it does, because if they think that you're cool with it then they will probably keep doing it.

Ignore them! There is nothing wrong with being gay! gay guys are usually nicer to girls then straight guys. you have people who are insecre about themselves so to make them look 'cool' they make fun of ur brother. ignore them because you are stronger then they are. :)

Try to stick up for him. Tell the people that make fun of him tell them that making fun of him is the same thing as in the 50s when white people discriminated aganist black people. Just blow them off. Besides, if there are a lot of people who think your brother is cool then focus on what those people have to say not what the others do. I hope I helped!

Just tell them that just because your brother is gay doesn't mean that anything is wrong with him or you. Tell them that he is a great person and that it doesn't matter that hes gay.

Next time it does bother you, stop and think about it. What particular situation are you in? Who said it? Who is near you? Was it said to tease or to hurt? Hurt you or your brother? When you know when you get upset sometimes and not others it will make it easier for you to decide if something needs to be done or not. Luck.

Just shout back at them: "Ohhh...your brother is straight! Weird!" Seriously though, those people are fools. Just be proud of your brother for being honest about who he is and avoid people who think otherwise. People who would say those kinds of things to you wouldn't make good friends, so it's a handy way to tell who's not worth your time.

Well, I really don't see a problem with being gay. I mean, it's no big deal! When someone says that, just rolld your eyes and say "grow up". then just walk away like you don't care. they'll realize they can't give you that crap. well in our society today theres not really anything you can do. But if people would make comments jus be like " yeah so? " even if it does bother u pretend it doesnt. As long as hes comfortable with being gay then you shouldnt care about what others think.

i know it seems bad, but tell the people off! it's not fair that you should be made fun of for your brother's sexuality. tell him that if he wants to be gay, it's his thing, not yours. just yell at them, you shouldn't be yelled at for that.
