i have a lot of trouble getting to sleep. i can't switch off wheni go to bed and i feel tired a lot of the time. I have tried cutting out caffiene, herbal sleeping tablets and all the obvious things and nothing works. can you help

when i have got my hands wet my nails go almost transparent and take a while to go back to the normal colour. does this mean i have a calcium defiency? if so what can i add to my diet to improve this as i already eat a fair amount of cheese and drink milk in my tea.

I'm 14, and a girl. We just found out that my grandpa had cancer about a month and a half ago. We knew something was wrong but we weren't sure what. It was too bad when we found out so the medicine didn't do anyghing. Hes slowly getting worse and can die any day now. My whole family is devestated and sometimes i just can't take the feeling i get inside. =( My boyfriends grandma had an anurism and then 3 strokes, and now she's dying too, and it's going to happen the same way (go into a comma and stop breathing) and around the same time. We live in jersey but his grandmas in florida so he just went down there. I don't have him with me when i need him most and im just really upset. My cousin on my other side of the family doesn't care about an...

i work from 2pm til 10pm mon-fri. I eat fruit in the morning and at 3pm at i have a sandwich. I don't eat again until i get home when i will cook something reasonable healthy and quick. My problem is i am worried about eating so late in the evening and i don't sleep well as it is and wondered if eating late is making this problem worse. Could you advice me on the best foods to eat at this time of the evening please and whether eating at these times is unhealthy. thank you

can a doctor or whatever tell if u have already had sex? i mean how can they tell? cuz your hymen can be broken lots of ways other then sex.... and if they can tell otherwise.. then how can they tell?????????????

ok i have a friend who has this b/f. HE and she have been going out for 5 months at the most and he has already popped the question... She doesnt' know what to do... She is barely graduationg this year and he is still a junior. She fills presherd and stuff and he has already been talking about having kids with her... she is scared and she even feels like not coming to school because hes here... what should she do? She doesn't want to hurt him though so please give good advice i rate high.....

i am so upset righyt now. i told my friend some really personal things about my life. she promised she wouldnt tell anyone. it was mostly about this guy that i liked a lot. a real lot. we were firghtin the ohter day and she told him all my personal things and now she wants me to forgive her. i dont think i should because she doesnt deserve it. it was really personal and it wasnt his business. what should i do?

at my school we need to wear uniforms, with mine i waer the sweatery thing, and latly its been getting really warm out, well i dont like to take my sweater off cause im kinda fat and i look really bad in the uniform. but the problem is since its been hot iv been sweating {even though i wear dedorant} and its smelling bad. im afriad i smell bad!! all my friends say i dont but still, my mom refuses to wash 2x a week. what should i do?

im fat {mostly in the winter}. ive tried crunches and deits and all i do is feel more hungary. at one time i was 131lb, i was good with that, now im 164lb then 159lb then 165lb. it keeps fluctulating. i want to be 131!!! please help me!!!

I live in a dorm and I am very happy with the way I have it set up. But, I'll be living at home this summer. I would like to fix up my room. I have a pretty good idea of how everything will end up, save for one thing.
Petunia is my beloved, albeit large stereo. The speakers about three feet tall and eight inches wide. The main section, which has two casette players, a clock radio, a record player, and a shelf for LPs, is about four feet tall and a foot and a half wide. It is ugly wood paneling. Tonsilitis?

Heyas.
Three days ago I got bad congestion. Today, this morning, I wake up and can barely manage a whisper. Theres no pain in my chest, when I breath or swallow or anything, just the usual discomforts of inflamed skin. However, it is progressively getting worse. I ahve to communicate with pen and paper now! Is it possible I have tonsilitis? What should I do to help it?
