RV and mobile home living - how does it work?

I'm thinking about buying my brother an RV to live in. He is struggling with some issues and i'm managing his money. Rather than paying rent I thought buying him an RV would be better. Is it difficult to find plumbing hook ups? Is it hard to find a place to connect? I'm trying to figure this out by myself and I just don't know how to go about it.

Long story short my friend who I had planned to have move in with me for months and take over half the rent decided last minute that she wanted to keep living at home. This is a problem for me because my current roommate already decided she's getting a place with her fiance and now I'm stuck with either a $1600 apartment that I don't have the means to afford by myself or finding a place alone, which I'm also not sure I have the means to afford.
I've been trying to find another roommate via online services, but nothing is working.
My issue is although I work I currently have other bills that are around $600 a month and that doesn't include groceries, gas, etc., so I'm limited on how much I can afford for...

Bedroom decorating.

I'm not sure how to decorate my bedroom I love modern type rooms but I am on a budget. I love soft colours but bold colours are good too the room has to have an element of white in it but no black elements. I have two sets of doors one going to the hall way which is a single doorway and I have a double doorway leading to the bathroom. Please advise me on this subject unfortunately I do not do as well decorating as I do in the cooking department I am way better at cooking.

My cousin and my Aunt just helped me get my first place basicially it's a small camper trailer. They are even letting me decorate it the way tgat I want but I have never had the chance to decorate anything just the way I want. I have always had to agree with what someone else wanted like my 2number sisters when I was growing up or my 14 year old niece since my mom has custody of her and I have always lived with my mom. Plexiglass

Hello Advicenators: Newbie here. Seeing what else is out there besides JA. I bought some plexiglass off a lady on Craigslist. At her house it looked good. I thought there was a protective coating on it and she advertised it as clear. I got home and noticed it is "frosted" plexiglass. I am just doing a invention with this for my dog. Is there a way to modify the frosted plexiglass to make it appear clear or clearer? Thanks, Dzadzy

I live in a cracker box

Hey! So my bedroom is a complete mess, mostly because it's on the smaller side. I have a double bed and two bureaus. No, I can't ditch them because I inherited them from my grandmother. Painting the room isn't an option either, even though the last time it was painted was when I was in 5th grade (I'm in the 10th now) and I just don't know what to do. There's mess under all the furniture and the closet is awful. Also, I don't have enough space on top of my bureaus which I find funny because they're so gigantic!!! I need cleaning tips and I don't want to clean it a little bit at a time and I'm really frustrated.

How do I get my grandmothers house condemned?

My family has tried to help my grandmother fix her house but it is beyond repair. Her house is coming up out of the ground, you can see the foundation outside. Most of the rooms don't have electricity, so she has lamps. She refuses to move in with other family members or get another place because she's been living in her house for 40 years and spent a lot of money on it and doesn't want to leave it. She is 80 years old and refuses to get help. Her walls in the house are splitting, she now has water leaking all over the house and won't call a plumber or electrician because they cost too much and she doesn't want to get her house condemned.
She's a hoarder and has junk all over the house piled up in most rooms. She has roaches...

Bean Bag Furniture Craze

Hi!
It seems like every store I go into has bean-bag couches and such along with chairs and the usual, just bags I guess, and I don't get it. Over the long-term do they last longer or are they THAT much more comfortable? I mean I sit in one there, but I am not going to sit there fro two hours like I would at home watching a movie to see what that is like. LOL! Can anyone tell me what they think of BB furniture?

Red walls

My room is a darkish red color and we are renting the house so I can't paint it a different color. It's summer and I want to add some summer flare but I don't exactly know how with the wall color which to me is more of a winter color. I also have zebra print curtains which I don't know if my mom will let me get new ones because she just brought them a little before spring. I don't know what I should do, please help!

I don't know the name for the style I want!

I will be moving soon and I know in my head what I want my new bedroom to look like but I don't actually know the name of the style, so that other people know what I'm talking about.
I'd call it an Indian Bohemian princess bedroom. Fabricy walls, bright colours, different textures and patterns. I just need to know what to call that, so I will be able to buy the materials to make my dream room.

extra long shower curtains

Hi there! I have a shower that is really tall, and normal shower curtains don't seem to ever be long enough. I am tired of wet floors, so I bought one on eBay that claimed to be longer, and it was, by about an inch. :) Can you help me find a long enough curtain to keep me from having to mop after showers? THANKS!

You know how there are sites that let you compare cars, and sites that let you compare electronics and everything else side by side? Is there some way to compare bedroom sets that different stores have for sale? Obviously we can't drag one to the other, so I was hoping for an on-line comparison kinda thingy? Anybody know?
