I Need a Theme for my Special Sixteen Party.

I need a theme for my Sweet Sixteen! I am so excited. I know that I want my chocolate fountain out with dippers and such. I know that I also want the blender out to make smoothies and virgin pina coladas. What kinda theme incorporates these? and what can I do to further the theme you choose? Thanks a bunch!

Alright, hi, I am 15, female. My bedroom is very.. pink! I liked it when I was little but now I want to repaint it and make it more teenager-y and chic. I am artsy, I love music, my friends call me a non cutting emo, haha. But I want to paint my walls like a reddish or a tan and put a really chic maybe brown lace border around the walls but I don't know how to decorate. I have alot of my artwork framed and hung up, but I just want more, family pictures, cool trinkets you can think of, anything will help. Thanks!

clear stand up chandelier?

there is a store by me called forever21. most people know of it.
well in there, there is the cutest chadelier. well it standup like a lamp but the top looks l;ike a chandelier. it is made of plastic and you can see through it. it is adorable.
can anyone give me links to where i might find this.
forever 21 does not sell them. its just decoration.

Sweet 16 ideas?

So, i'm having a sweet 16 -- there will be a LOT of dancing with a DJ. i know some people aren't the dancing type, so what are some other things to do? I'll have food & tables, but i feel like thats not enough at all, you know?
I'm considering a pinata, but not full of candy only cause.. well, we're spending a lot on food. Maybe prizes, btu like what? I really don't have a lot of money, but yeah, any suggestions are appreciated!

How long wet concrete wall takes to dry?

My dad is building a little thing out back to put his tools in. The shed is being built to have concrete walls for whatever reason. I was talking to my friends and they said it would be really cool to put our handprints in the cement while it's drying. I think the hand prints idea sounds pretty good too.
I haven't asked my dad yet about it but I'm curious how long a concrete wall will take to dry? We will want to do our handprints before it dries but not right after it's poured, obviously. Does anybody know about it's normal drying time then?

Hey I need help. My sisters have gorgeous rooms. We liv in a nice house, but i want a nice room. My room has ugly colored walls. They were supposed to be light pink, but they turned to a white with a little peach in it. It looks like puke. anyways, i want a room makeover, but how do i do it myself? How can i reorganzie my room and make it looks pretty? What stores are cheap and have nice stuff? How Can i paint my room myself? btw, my parents are too busy to help, i know pathetic. They have alot of money too but they spend it on unnecessary things like fatty foods etc. Please Help me

How can I decorate my room?

Okay, I'll try to keep this short but I don't want to miss the details..
I'm 15 (f) and my family and i recently moved to another town. my new bedroom is a lot smaller then my last. my room is about 9 ft. by 13 ft. i think.. anyways, it's a bastement room, so it has this legde about half way up my wall, going around my room. I also have 2 large windows.
Well, i'm really interested in re-decorating! I want it to look nice. Saphisticated, but still trendy. I was thinking of grey and yellow on the walls.. maybe a white a black bedspread? I don't know how i could do it though,
does anyone have suggestions?
How can I paint the ledge also?
like.. ex, should I paint the bottom half a diff...

what to do with dorm room?

I'm going to be a freshman in college next year. I plan on having a single dorm room. It basically consists of a twin bed (that i could raise if i wanted to), and on the opposite wall a desk, mirror and sink, and all the rest of the wall is closet space. It looked really boring when it didnt have anything in it and i want some suggestions on what i can do with it to make it prettier. Oh and im a girl

Unisex Room Ideas?

Me and my boyfriend have been living together for about a year now, and I'm getting kind of bored with the way that our room looks. We've made a few changes (took off our closet doors, added some furniture) but I'm still not satisfied. The walls are a dull white, and the carpet is brown. I really want to paint our room, but it's hard choosing a color we can both agree on, or a design. I'm more girly and he's more neutral and calm. I suggest ideas, and he thinks that they're too girly so I really need some ideas that could work for our room since it's the both of us.
If you need an idea of what we're like, well, we're very similar. We're both heavily into music, movies & media. I really like fashion...

Lamp Shades

So, I'm in the process of doing my room and as of right now everything except my comforter is a solid color. I want to get something with a bit of a design on it to add some flavor. Urban outfitters used to make these unique lampshades with like, all kinds of colors and funky designs. The don't anymore. Do you know where I can find lamps/ lamp shades like this now?

i need a new look for my bedroom, right now the walls are like an aqua blue w/ purple trim. my bed spread/sheets are blue, purple and green. i just need an updated look, something more sosphicated. any ideas? thanks :)

Bedroom wallpaper.

I'm going to be redoing my room soon, and I don't want just one flat color for the whole room. I have a room that's just about 10 by 10, so I wanted to get a black and white wall paper and put it on two of the walls and paint the other walls a solid white.
I'm not sure where to get a unique black and white wallpaper though, I want something that's more vintagey though (I'm not sure if that's a word..) what do you burn in this and what is it called..

i painted this glass thing n its like small n hollow with a hole to put a candle in it then theres a dish on top. i need to figure out what it is called and what you can burn on it.. but i have noo idea what to even type in on the computer to look for it because i dont know what its called any ideas? could it be to burn powdered insence or candle or..?

planning for party in a week

i feel rly stupid for putting this question in this category but w/e... 16/m ....so on oct. 17th my parents will be out of town and im having a little party after this thing at my school. I only plan on having like 10ppl or so not rly a party but w/e. and i just want some ideas of what i should do to not make it boring, like last year i planned for this huge halloween party so it was easy cuz i just set up the whole house for a party and bought a lot of beer. but this year its basically just to like chill out and stuff, but i dont want to make it boring either... ill accept any suggestions

House Building Resources?

I will be getting about 5 acres of land from my parents' subdivision (they're selling the farm and moving out) and I would like to put a house on it. I have already applied for a road access permit so I can build a road. However, while I'm waiting for that to go through, I was wondering if anyone has ideas for resources or tips on building a rural home that would be sustainable?

Personalizing & re-doing my room

I really want to make my room more "me", but I don't really know where to start. I don't like a single thing in it. I'm all about peace, so I want my room to somehow reflect that. I was going to paint the walls green or blue. I was thinking of putting up a bunch of posters too, but I'm not sure where I'd find them. I have carpet so I can't really get any rugs or anything. I don't know. What all can I do to make it more personal?
