My name's Blair and I'm a 16 yr old girl who happens to have ednos (a mix of anorexia and bulimia) and have a self-injury addiction. As my health has deteriorated, my shrink and doctor (with the full agreement of my family) have decided to send me to RTC. I'm very scared. I'm garunteed to be the youngest resident and the farthest away from my home and my friends. How am I gonna do this? I have to go in a week.

OK, I'm in high school and I don't have any friends, or a boyfriend.. and my family pretty much hates me and my mom and dad are convinced that I'm not gonna get anywhere in life. And they make sure to keep telling me that. So now I kinda breakdown everyday. Even for the stupidest things.. Like I start crying all the time. And I feel so.. incomplete. kyphosis and scoliosis

Just to tell you a little about my body: 5'9" or 5'10", 132 lbs, D or DD breasts.
When i was about 11 or 12 I was told I had scolosis and kyphosis caused by my vertabrae bring wedge shaped. I went to physical therapy for it, but it didnt really help. It causes me daily backpain and my upper back to slouch, even when i try to stand up straight. The pain and the appearance of it is starting to drive me insane. I think its called Sheuermanns disease from the research I did, and the only good cure was surgury. I do NOT want to do that because of time and money issues. Can anyone link websites for excersizes or other ways to help me? :( thanks.

never liked my emo classmates...they're dark and creepy and stiff. i never understand why'd they have to be like that,they always looked sad and unhappy...almost all the time and gives a really creepy look at me. and i have to deal with it every time i go to school.and whenever i try to talk to them? they never talk to me.i can't puzzle them, it's very weird and not easy to understand. takes away all the happy energy and happy thoughts that i have.how i wish they could just fuck off my life.any advice?

How do I get my mother to speak to me?
At the end of April I couldn't take anymore silence, the way she took hundreds of pounds from me and tried to stop me going to family events. After a very bad weekend at work I found out that my mum and the rest of her family had done an easter meal without me while I did a ten hour shift on the sunday, when for the past 15 years or more (I am 20 and female).
I had been bullied at work that weekend and was literally only working to give her money as she never got food or anything for me when she went shopping despite me giving her just short of £200 a month which was more than half of my wages.

i suffered with eating disorders when i was about 17, a senior in high school. i'm 20 now and i have been recovered since i was about 18. i am happy with my weight right now. i'm at a VERY healthy weight, exercise regularly, and eat healthy. I went through anorexia, bullemia, and then bingeing when I started to recover. I would say bingeing was the scariest because it was when i realized i had a problem.

So I'm 20 years old and I live at home with my older sister(21) and my mom(57). We are poor and my sister and I mostly support the family. My mom is a waitress and she works 4 days a week.my sister and I work more than my mom does and she expects us to give her 200 dollars every two weeks to pay bills. She barely contributes any money. according to my mother. She may disagree, saying I put words in her mouth but this is how I perceive it. I am 20 years old (female) and am only living with her (my parents are divorced) because I cannot afford to move out and am still in university. self confidence

I have really low self confidence.. I need some help or advice on how to be confident in myself. There are times when I look in the mirror and think i'm really pretty, but then I go out and see other gorgeous girls and then I think i'm nothing compared to them. I know its bad to compare yourself to other people because there will always be someone better than you.. but I can't help it. It really gets to me. It affects me so much that sometimes I think my boyfriend will dump me for a prettier girl, even though he says i'm the most beautiful girl ever.

I start college in 2 days and I've been doing a lot of thinking.. I really want to change my attitude. High school wasn't great for me because I am really shy and I didn't have many friends. I really want to change that for college. I'll be a freshman in college and I am a little nervous but kind of excited too. How do I change from being the shy girl to becoming more outgoing and meeting new people and making new friends? I have difficulty starting a conversation with strangers, and I also have difficulty becoming friends with someone. It just seems awkward whenever I ask for their number and ask to hang out.. and if I ever do hang out with them, it just seems so awkward. Please help!

Metabolism

I'm an 18 year old girl and I've always been big on sports and staying fit, I even have a majority healthy diet. I also have a very high metabolism. This has never been a problem before but recently some comments have been made by family about my eating. One of the main comments that made me feel self-conscious was that they said that every time they see me I'm always eating. When I thought about it later, I felt bad because of our "Financial" situation and the fact that I'm unable to help because jobs in my area are scarce. What should I do? Should I really be feeling embarrassed about my large appetite?

Why is my microwave sparking and making noises when there's no metal in it?

We havent put metal or spilled anything in the microwave. This microwave is brand new and its sparking when we put food in it. We had another microwave a couple of weeks ago that we threw away because it was sparking and making weird noises. What is causing these microwaves to spark and make noises, they also turned black in the corner inside of it. Why is the new microwave doing this and why did outr old one do it when we havent done anything wrong with it? Could it be the plug on the wall we are using?

Zumba training for weight loss

Hello everyone! My birthday is tomorrow (yay) I'll be 19! I was wondering what everyone knows about "Zumba" I was thinking of trying it, I understand that one dvd training is about 20 dollars and I am willing to pay that, if I hear that it actually works.
How many calories does it burn?
Is it worth looking into? I'm interested in losing a lot of weight, I don't have a timeline but I want to get healthier. I think zumba would help, but i'm not about to waste 20-30 dollars if it doesnt! thanks for all your input.
