Yeah. If you start dieting like crazy and stop eating, then you get thin to start with but once you start eating again your body really needs all the nutrients and stuff so you put on alot of weight.

No, there's nothing wrong. Some girls start as late as 19. Yeah, seeing as your mum and sister started at a certain age, you would expect you to be the same but that doesn't matter. My mum started at a different age to me, there isn't anything wrong. Everyone is different. If you are still concerned, then go to your doctor to check there's nothing wrong.

I'm 14. A day or two before my period, I tend to get this dark stain on my panties...the front of my panties, not where I would get a normal period stain. It's dark and kind of brown, and sort of thick. Do I have a disease or something?
Also, every single time in my period, I have a normal flow for maybe three days, then it stops for one or two days, then it starts again for only about half a day. Is this abnormal?
No you do not have a disease. The dark stain is probably just discharge that is darker because your period is due soon. It is perfectly natural to get this and alot of girls and women do. As for the second question, that's normal too. Everyone's period flows are different, it's okay for it to stop and start near the end. If you are still worried, then go to your doctor so he can reassure you.

Whatever you do, don't start wearing things like scarves and turtle necks, they will just draw attention to it. The chances are, your parents will guess if you wear them because they probably did exactly the same thing. Put a spoon in the freezer for a while then press it against the hickey, it doesn't make it go away completely but it makes it fade and go away quicker. Then put concealer over it and wear your hair down.

The age varies. For some it is fairly young, for some it isn't until their early twenties. The average age is around 16-18 but that doesn't mean that as soon as you hit 16 you will stop growing.

OK... I just wanted to see if anyone else has heard of this or knows what it is...
On my upper inner left thigh ther are these really strange marks. They look liek branches and kind of like scars. they are indented into my leg and pruple-ish. I never scarped my leg there or cut it but they look a lot like scars. By indented I mean if you run your finger along it it's like carved into my skin. Does anyone knows what they are, or how they might have got there? They just came up this past 3 months. thanks for ANY comments
They're most probably stretch marks. Nearly all girls get them at some stage, I don't know if boys do or not. They happen because when you are growing, the skin stretches quickly, leaving silvery purple marks. It often happens during pregnancy too. There is no real cure but using body lotion will make them fade quicker. They will fade over time until they are almost invisible.

It's a great opportunity to talk and have fun at the same time and it isn't really that expensive.It also doesn't matter if neither of you are that good at bowling because it makes it more fun that way. Say no. I know that there are only three years between the two people but you are likely to want very different things. A 16 year, especially a guy, is more likely to want a more sexual relationship and could pressure the thirteen year old into something that they don't want. I'm not saying that all 16 year old guys are sex craving perverts but it just wouldn't be safe. Plus, in two years the 16 year old will be a legal adult and the 13 year old will still only be 15. That would be breaking the law.

You can get really cheap pin boards from loads of places. Get two or three of them, hang them up around your room and pin the photos on. If the pin boards are a bit boring, then you could try decorating them with glitter, paint or you could stick things on them. I think you can also get them in different shapes.

ok so i am 13 years old and i have been since november 16. I am really self concious about my breasts because like all my friends are a size A and i dont even think if i am a size AA (i've never tried one though) I mean when you read this you might think that i actually have breasts but they are small. But i acutally really dont. I have only 2 small like bumps when i look at myself in the mirror. and when i look at myself from the side in a mirror it is literally flat. nothing sticking out. And i have had my period since July. please help!
Everyone develops at different rates, you're just a little behind. Don't worry, you will start growing breasts soon. In the mean time, if it is really getting you down then you could try getting a padded bra. If you are still worried, then go and see your doctor just to make sure there is nothing wrong.

Ok this is a random question but i got my period friday morning and it wasnt heavy at all throguh friday and saturday and sunday. Its monday and when i took out my tampon there was close to nothing on it. is it normal to only have your period for like 4 days? ( its not my first )
Yeah that is totally normal. The length of your period can vary from 2-8 days. Anywhere in between is fine. Check with your doctor if you are still worried.

It's all a myth. It doesn't matter when you have sex, there is still a chance that you will get pregnant.
