My period
I'm 14. A day or two before my period, I tend to get this dark stain on my panties...the front of my panties, not where I would get a normal period stain. It's dark and kind of brown, and sort of thick. Do I have a disease or something?
Also, every single time in my period, I have a normal flow for maybe three days, then it stops for one or two days, then it starts again for only about half a day. Is this abnormal?

If you started recently (a year to two years or so), your period may not have set a normal course yet. Everything is fine. Don't worry, you just have to wait before it gets straightened out for the most part. Hope I helped!

If the stain is dark and brownish, then it's probably actually the start of your period. While normal discharge does vary during different parts of your cycle, it is not actually brown - that's blood.
As for your period starting and stopping, that's okay too. Everyone's periods are different, and there's a chance yours might settle into a more regular flow after you've had it for awhile. If you are truly concerned, it's best to talk to a doctor.

Hey, don't worry, both of your problems are normal! Your discharge gets darker sometimes when your period is about to come and your period flow is always irregular so don't worry! Hope I helped :)

No you do not have a disease. The dark stain is probably just discharge that is darker because your period is due soon. It is perfectly natural to get this and alot of girls and women do. As for the second question, that's normal too. Everyone's period flows are different, it's okay for it to stop and start near the end. If you are still worried, then go to your doctor so he can reassure you.

it depends.. if you have just started your period not too long ago, it's normal for your period to be like that. your first year of starting your period is always weird.. but after a year it goes into a normal cycle!
