okay well i know that when guys get their cartalige pierced, that one side means they're gay and another side means their straight. well i have 2 questions::
1. which is which?
and 2. does it matter for girls and what side is the 'right" side because i just got my cartalige pierced adn the lady made me pick my own side because she said that it didnt matter..soo yeah 5's for anything that helps. thanks.

Around where I live, it doesn't matter for girls. I personally want my right cartilige pierced as opposed to my left because it looks better on me, anyway.

I need some singing tips.

What is "head voice" and "nasal breathing"

How do you know you're singing like that or if you're singing any good?

head voice is what you sing in in your upper range. usually you want your head and your chest voice to be "hooked" together throughout your range. nasal breathing... i'm thinking that breathing through your nose...usually you breathe through your mouth to get more air faster. singing like what? nasal-y? you pinch your nose and if its hard to sing or if it sounds terrible, you're singing wrong.
these aren't really tips... i do recommend a voice teacher.

Hey, I'm 17 and have been with my bf for just over 6 months...about a month ago he asked me to move in with him, and i really want to but i dont no how to ask my parents cus i dont think they will approve... how do i tell them that i think its the right thing to do???

I think maybe you should wait until you go to college or are 18. I know it kinda sucks to live under your parent's roof but unless you work a full time job, do your own laudry, iron your clothes and make your own food, you need them. take advantage of having your parents there for you for another year. you can always visit your boyfriend or spend the night/weekend there but moving in is a whole different thing. think about it.

Hi, i am 15 nearly 16 and my teenage years which i should be enjoying are being ruined. ever since i was young i have had an obsession with babies and at one point i almost slept with someone i had only just met, to get pregnant. luckily i couldn't go through with it and after a while and a great deal of thinking i managed to bottle these feelings up and get on with my life and hopefully get a degree to become a high school teacher. Since i have entered year 10 i have been taking child development which is 90% about babies, also a girl in the year below me is pregnant and is really excited and I'm just so jealous! everyone i have talked to said "it just my hormones" or "its just a faze" but its not, its more than that. it is making me depressed and my GCSE's are suffering because i cant tell the teachers why i am always so down and moody so they just assume i am being immature, then cocky when i say that I'm not being immature. I'm not a big clubbing fan so if i did get pregnant that wouldn't bother me and my best mate had a child at 16 (she is now 19) and she says its great and she hasn't missed out anything she wouldn't sacrifice anyway. please help me, i just don't no what to do!

Hey, I can see why you would want a baby...you want someone to love you and everything but truth is, that baby won't stay a baby forever. It will grow up, start kindergarten, throw temper tantrums.. you get the idea. Would you want to go to your Jr. Prom with a big stomach? Prom on ly happens once or twice (maybe 3?) times in a person's life. with the medicine there is now, you can have a baby anytime in your life. you can be 40 and have a baby now. What to do: get yourself a puppy. potty train it, play with it for 2 hours everyday, give it a crib, watch it eat, make sure it has enough food, don't let it run too far and buy it toys. treat it just like you would a baby. if you can stand doing that everyday for the next 2-3 years, then consider getting pregnant.

It's kinda annoying about my younger sister.(We have an age gap of seven years) Back when I was her age, our family didnt have that much money. And I only attented a decent school that's close to our rented house.When I was in nursery and kindergarten,I had to use a trycicle to get to school. When my sister was born, we moved to a new house--that we owned. And we earned a lot more money too.This year,my sister started kindergarten. And she's enrolled to a big private chinese school.(we're part chinese)And her classes start in the afternoon!When I was in kindergarten.I had to wake up earlier before the sun does!And now that we can afford a car,my family can just take her and pick her up from school. I just thought about it now. I just wanna stop feeling sorry for myself.I don't think I'm envious cause I'm not the jealous type.I just thought that maybe she has a better childhood than I did. I don't wanna think that way, but how do i stop? please help...

I'm the oldest too and my family is sort of like that. If i got in trouble... I was grounded forever. my younger brother...if he does something then "it's ok, just don't do it again". Persoanlly, I think it makes you a better/stronger person because you had to learn to take care of yourself. I had to try things and see what works to better protect/guide my brother so i think you can do that. try to not compare things because what is fair, isn't always equal. as for when classes start, it depends where you live. the people that live close to the school went to the morning kindergarten and the ones that live further away went to afternoon kindergarten. It gets you more ready for the rest of your school years to go in the morning. let me know if you need any more help...

Yeah, my granmother just died, we're having a funeral for her on saturday, and I don't want to be there. My dad says "Its not your decision to make" does anyone have some persuasion techniques? Or have you ever heard of a way to convince someone to do something your way?
I don't want to go. What' sthe best way to say it so I get to stay??

I would say that I wasn't emotionally ready/stable to attend the funeral. if it's to go to a party or something then no, just go to it but if you honestly just don't want to go then tell him that. you might regret not going later... so try to make the most of it.

when i run i lose my breath so easily! i'm in good shape and run a lot but after 7 yards of running, i feel like i'm going to pass out! is it normal to have to stop running for a second and catch your breath?! when i was running a mile, i had to stop to catch my breath about 8 times. is it normal to have to stop? and what can i do to stop this so i can run long distances without stopping?

I think you were trying to go too fast too soon. you kinda have to work up to it. just run at a medium pace and try taking a breath in every 2 steps in through your mouth, out through your nose. it's hard to get used to it and the first couple times you'll really want some more air but it does get easier. when you run long distances, you don't go fast. you have to pace yourself. the best runner in my state goes pretty slow at practice so don't try to sprint the mile. don't give up!

I had a friend do that when she was drunk once... she was so embarrassed the next day! don't do it for guys, that's dumb. they won't expect you to do it all the time.... but you might get invited to more parties and be expected to drink all the time. it depends. i say don't do it personally. there are things that are more fun when you are drunk than that.

it really depends on the individual. I know people that run it in 6:30 and some that do in 12:00. my time was about 7:30 when I was 14.
