cartalige earring
okay well i know that when guys get their cartalige pierced, that one side means they're gay and another side means their straight. well i have 2 questions::
1. which is which?
and 2. does it matter for girls and what side is the 'right" side because i just got my cartalige pierced adn the lady made me pick my own side because she said that it didnt matter..soo yeah 5's for anything that helps. thanks.

I know the right side means your gay for guys. But I don't think there is straight/gay side for girls. 3 of my friends that are girls have theirs on their left. So if you're unsure, you could just get it on the left side.

well they say "right is wrong" but today no one cares anymore. it used to matter but it doesnt anymore. and for girls it doesnt matter ever. dont sweat it. no one cares or notices. but if you care then your "gay" if you put it on your right ear. but like i said no one even looks anymore

Yea for a guy that gets that pierced one side means thei gay an dthe other means their not. But for girls it applies to the nose. So th lady was right baout it not mattering the only way you can tell if a girl is a lesbian when it comes to piercing is if she has the right side of her nose pierced. that is the only piercing place for girls that applies to the gay category.

Around where I live, it doesn't matter for girls. I personally want my right cartilige pierced as opposed to my left because it looks better on me, anyway. <3

Well, the right side is the gay side. However I don't think for girls it really applies...But this could just be because girls almost always get both ears pierced. I'm not sure, but if you can maybe get the left one pierced too if it bothers you. People might not even notice though!

Left is straight and right is gay. With girls, however, especially ones who have more than 1 earing to begin with, it does not matter the side. But good luck with the piercing! :)

In our town, its the right side thats considered gay, for everyone. Girls get the left side pierced.

on a boy its the left side that means their gay. and on girls...it doesn't matter which ear because its just an ear for crying out loud. to depend if a guy is gay they don't like girls and they act all homo-sexual around guys. its really complicated. why dont you e-mail me?

If guys get it pierced on the right side, then people usually label them gay. Of course, just because someone has it on their right side, doesn't necessarily mean that they're gay. I don't think it matters for girls but if it does, I am sure the same thing applies.
