I want to know a little more about college, so if you went/go to college, please answer these questions:
-Is college easier or harder than you thought it would be?
-How often do you do homework, study, and read per day/week?
-Is it hard having a job and going to college full time?
-Are tests usually multiple choice? Do they cover the general material or every detail of lectures?
-How many speeches/presentations do you usually do?

-college is a bit easier than i thought it would be
-homework, almost none, a few hours per week at worst. studying on the other hand, well you are expected to study two hours for every one hour you are in class. you could probably get away withy 1 hour per hour.
-yes. if you are a full time student, it is equivalant to having a full time job. so if you have another full time job on top of that it is very hard.
-math and english tests tend not to be multiple choice. physics tests (at least at my college) are. alot of classes are multiple choice, even some english classes, but math is always write in. professors have their own preference but for math and science classes expect test questions like the homework
-virtualy no speeches or presentantions, unless you are in a speech or presentation class.

my boyfriend and i have been going out for 4 months now. he has a lot of girl friends and has never cheated. he's absolutely perfect and i love him in everyway. whenever he hangs out with his girl friends i get worried. i dont know how to shake the feeling. i trust him, i know he is friends with them but i get jealous a lot. what should i do? i dont want to make him not see his friends. you probably have less to worry about from his friends than you would from a random girl. i mean hes friends with her, if he wanted a relationship with her hed be in one with her, and not with you. he chose you, you won, he doesnt want anyone else.

This is sort of long (sorry), but I need help. I'm 16, male, and about to be a junior in high school. I have good grades (all A's and one B through high school in almost all advanced classes).
Every day this summer, I have woken up and gone to sleep thinking about one thing: my future. My future career, house, and family. I made up my mind that I don't really want kids, but I want to get married. I also don't mind if we have a one story home (as long as it isn't too small). But the career part just freaks me out.
It started last semester at school. I signed up for my first AP class, thinking that it would be just like an honors class. I was wrong. I cried and had panic attacks every other night for about 2 or 3 months because of the constant [and I truly mean constant] studying, reading, writing, and projects. The panic attacks were serious and prevented me from being able to work. I ended up getting a B, but it still completely depressed me. I resorted to therapy, which didn't help with the stress/anxiety.
So when I started thinking about careers, I thought "Well, college comes before most careers..." But then I thought, maybe I don't want to go to college. If college classes are anything like the AP class that I took, then I just don't want to go through that depression and anxiety. Ever since realizing that, I've been terrified of college and thinking of every job that I could get without attending college. Very little appeal to me, and the ones that do don't pay well. My older brother already graduated from college, and he didn't take one single advanced class in high school. He told me that college is easier than high school, but I find that hard to believe. I think he meant that it's easier because you don't have class daily.
So what do I do about my college/career future? Please don't say "If you don't go to college, you'll be poor. So you should go." I already know that, but please help..I'm scared. And if I do "try out" college and it's just like that AP class but worse, what do I do? Thank you! (link)

In some respects college is easier than high school, mostly because of the lack of homework. What I suggest is this, sign up for a college class at a community college over the summer, most have two summer sessions, and you might not be too late to sign up for the second one. College really isnt for everyone, but you should definetely give it a try.

ok i really like this guy but there's a problem. i went to my friends house last week and we went to his house but then after that he asked me if i would "do stuff with him" meaning like a bj and stuff. anyway i really like him but he doesent want a girlfriend because he just got out of a long relarionship. and i do want to do that stuff but i cant because im scared but i really want to. but he doesent want a girl friend and i dont know if i can handle just being a person he says to "have fun with" please help me i rate high! thanks . p.s im going to his house friday! if you cant handle being the person "just to have fun with" then dont be. he doesnt like you enough to go out with you, and would just be using you. stay away from guys like that.

ok i have this relly good friend who always calls herself fat, just because shes not as skinny as the anorexic girls on tv, and it relly bugs me i keep telling her that shes not fat and that i dont like it when she talks like that but she still dose. how can i talk to her and make her see shes not fat at all (link)

i have 50 friends like that. i have about 60 female friends. i think it might be genetic. ok so thats a joke, but it cant really be helped. i have one friend thats particularly bad about it, she is almost as skinny as those "anorexic girls on tv" and still calls herself fat. you have to make sure that she isnt doing anything to hurt herself, and doesnt fall into an eating disorder. other than that there isnt much you can do

he sounds like a jelous prick, thinking you are cheating on him just for talking to guys. that will definitely lead to trouble down the line, and you should talk to him about it, or dump him. when someone is that over protective it is generarly a case of projection, and he is attacking his own urge to cheat.

I was looking at my feedback but I forgot which question I answered so I went back and checked. As I was looking I noticed someones answer and I didn't know if it was true.
I don't want to embarass anybody so i'll just describe the situation. One girl stated that she hasn't had her period in 4 months and was wondering what she should do. Then this one girl answered:
If you have oral sex then there might be a chance of pregnancy, but if not, then it is probably just still irregular. It takes up to two years for a period to regulate, and if you have had your period for over two years, then you should tell your mom or a doctor.
Is it true you can get pregnat from oral sex?

not true AT ALL. however, you can catch an STD from oral sex, and because of that, its still a good idea to use protection.

see this is why we need more accurate sex education in this country. yes you can get pregnant from precum, but not if its on your shirt. what you did was still relatively dangerous though in terms of possible pregnancy. you most likely arent pregnant, but if i were you id get a pregnancy test just to be sure. and be more careful next time.

Why is it that so many girls freak out about their boobs being too small? I see so many questions about girls who think that because they have small boobs, they won't get any guys. That is not true at all.
But that really isn't the issue, I guess. I myself have quite the chest. I'm a 38 D, and still growing somewhat. It is painful sometimes, especially around periods, and frustrating, because it is near impossible to find shirts that fit, or decent bras.
So when I see these girls who think their lives are over because they are 16 and they aren't Jessica Rabbit, it makes me angry. They have no idea what larger chested women have to deal with! To me, it seems they have it easy. They don't have to worry about aching backs, or not being able to wear a beautiful shirt or dress because it is too tight at the bust, or too loose everywhere else.
How can I keep from being so angry with them? I know that they don't understand, and I know it isn't worth fussing over, but I just can't help it.

from what ive seen and heard of the razr it does not get very good reception. this isnt really an issue in high reception areas though. its also not durable at all. now granted if you drop a phone you should expect it to break. however, if you pick it up off the table a few inches and then let it drop it shouldnt, the way my sisters did. i know nothing about the pebl. check out phonescoop.com

15/F Alright, so I have been dating this guy, ryan, for about 6 months. I can honestly say that I LOVE him. Bu, lately he has been acting distant, strange. I was talking to a girl online and as soon as he found out I was talking to her he made me stop. It's just weird. And This may be a little TMI but the last time we were doing "things" He just stopped and said, "I can't do this." i dont think hes cheating, at least not physically. the way you describe it, it sounds alot like what happened to me with my last gf. i think he has started to like someone else, but either doesnt know how to tell you, or is unsure in his feelings for you. i would give him a little time and space, and sort of set him free (though not entirely) if he comes back, he will be yours forever, if he doesnt, well then he was never yours to begin with. good luck, hope you end up better off than i did.

I have to audition for A MIdsummer Night's Dream on Sunday. I have to prepare a Shakspearean monologue that is more than four lines, but less than two minutes. I want to use this monologue:

it is pretty nice. however, and i know this might seem counter intuitive, but you might want to do a monologue from a different play than the one you are aditioning for. with this monologue, the director might see you only as helena, so you are locking yourself in, and if someone is a better helena then you wont get it, and might not get anything else. whereas, if you if you do a different play you arent locking yourself into a role. this is assuming your auditions work the same way mine did where the director just puts you into the role they think youll do best in.

it all matters by state. the amount of years in between your birthdays is what matters for punishment, not the age. i suggest using google to search the statutory rape laws of your state
child molestation is of a person under 12 years old i believe. but child molestation is a more severe form of satutory rape. it will be illegal for you two to have sex, the questions is only a matter of how much.

I was with my boyfriend for a few months and every day I found myself more and more in love with him.
Well, out of the blue, the other day he dumps me. He tells me that his feelings have changed. He tells me he has been feeling this way for a while. you know i went through the EXACT same thing, except im a guy and my girlfriend dumped me. basically people dont really know what they want. they think they do, but when they get it they dont want it anymore. from my experiance, i can tell you he most likely found someone else, i know that hurts, and it hurt me too, and im sorry this happened to you.

the volume on my computer wont work! the volumes up the highest it can go and it's NOT on mute! the volume just won't work! i did everything right and this is the 3rd time it happened. and i forgot how i did it the other times. my mom and dad tried and they can't get it to work either! how do i get the volume to work? first off, if this is waht i think it is, you have a miner virus. scan your computer. or, go to the windows (or apple if you have a mac) site, and download a new set of sound drivers. keep the install file on your desktop, and everytime your sound cuts out, reinstall. this will let you put off the problem until you get rid of the virus.

ok....this is hard to talk about but im going to try to get it out best i can.im in college, and i really like this guy( ill call him rob) for a while. we never hooked up or anything, but talked dont the phone here and there.sometimes he use to joke around about things he wanted to do with me sexually,but i always just thought he was kidding because we were kinda friends.so this one day, i was really drunk and he called me to come over to his apartment. i was so excite because i really like him and he alwasy told me what a great girl i was and how he liked me alot. i thought one day he was really gunna get serious with me. Anyway, i went there and he told me he wanted me to listen to some song in his room, i went in and when i did his roomate was in ther and i kind aheard him tell him to leave, then he left rob locked the door. i started to get nervous because i wasnt really expeting to hook up with im or have sex, but i just went with it because i was so drunk. we end up starting to hook up and then it just got bad. we started to have sex, which was ok with me because i thought he really like me and it was going to be so great.it ended up be the most hurtful thing i have ever gone through, pyshcially and emotionally. he was having sex with me really rough, and it hurt really bad, i was very drunk but i managed to say your hurting me, so he would stop, but then he would just do the same thing again. he was throwing me around the bed like a rag doll, and i was crying inside.i said stop it hurts, but he took that as "stop for a sec then start again" this went on for a good 20 mintues till i fianlly made up some excuse to leave.when i left i cried the entire way home. i got home and i had bruises bewtween my legs already.i was so hurt because i though he like me and he treated me so terribly....but what i always wanted to know was...is that considered rape or something close to it???sorry so long, i just pushed it out of my mind for song long becauseit really screwed me up in the head to the point i cant trust guys anymore and talk of sex with a guy totally scares me...advice please what do you think??im i blowing this out of poportion? because i didnt exactly say or scream stop like i was being raped....i dunno please advice (link)

not close to it. exactly it. having sex with a drunk person is rape, pure and simple (well you know what i mean). rape is NEVER your fault, no matter what the rapist, or anyone else might tell you. it doesnt matter that you were drunk, or if you went over there half naked, it was rape. if you say stop and he doesnt, its rape, pretty much by deffinition. also, having sex with a drunk person, even if they dont say no or stop is considered rape. now unfortunately since you waited so long, you wont be able to press charges, but you said you didnt want to anyway (i have no idea why) if it hasnt been too long, i strongly suggest going to police, because if hes done this to you, he might do it to other girls too. you can try to get the roomate to be a witness for your side, but if he refuses you can always threaten him because standing by and doing nothing is illegal as well. if you need any more help feel free to ask me a private question.
