All my friends say my boyfriend is weard (mohawk) and an @$$. But he is always kind and respectful to me. Every time someone askeds me if i'm "really" going out with him they laught an say "wow, ok". Ignore them. No really, unless he has some sort of horrible influence on you, they have no right to bother you about it. He is just wearing his differences on the outside for now to separate himself from the cookie cutters.
If he is really an @$$ to other people, then maybe you should ask him why he is so angry. People do grow out of these things, and become "normal" or at least a contributing member of society. Even jerks deserves someone to love. I would definitely try to encourage him to be respectful to other people, an the best way to do that is lead by example. And when that happens, maybe the judgemental will be shocked by his change.

I'm having a camping party by the sea for my 18th birthday in July but the only campsite available is quite expensive.
The charge is £5 per head for camping and I want to invite 20+ people. My total budget for the party is £100. I'm providing food and drinks, and even tents for some people. Do you think it would be reasonable to ask my friends to help out with their camping fee and if so how much should I ask them for? I thought about asking for at least £2.50 each otherwise I'll have to severely limit the number of people.

It is rude to invite guests to a party they have to pay for. It would be much nicer if you would just limit the number of people. Besides, if everyone doesn't show up or forgets their money, you are stuck with something you can't pay for.

I've worked for Walgreens for 3 years, for my third year I transferred to a different store close to my school, I haven't had much respect from my boss but I keep trying to make things work.
I got an internship in my field for monday-fridays, so I told my boss @ walgreens that I still want to work saturdays and sundays were ok but I want a day off since summer classes were starting. He said it'd be no problem and that I won't have to work any sundays.
My boss has been scheduling me full weekends for almost over a month now, between my internship and walgreens I haven't had a day off in 5 weeks! I got other responsibilites too such as school, budgeting money, laundry, etc. I have been trying to talk to my boss but he always just avoids or ignores me.
The catch is my internship ends at the end of the year so if I quit walgreens I'll definitely have no job. But my boss always seems to promise and agree to terms and never comes through. I think my reason for quitting is stupid, but I feel that walgreens isn't paying me the respect I've earned (seeing as all the people at this store only worked for the company about a year), and I can't make a single agreement with them 'cuz I have learned I can't trust them. Those reasons and the fact that I'm falling behind in everything else.
I can make it, I know I can, but it's making every lil thing in life harder than it should be. I couldn't even stop by my dad's to say 'happy father's day' because of my hectic work schedule, I feel I'm missing out on a lot but I'd hate to risk unemployment next year.
If you are doing a good job and you can make it without the two cents Walgreens is paying, quit or request a leave of abscence. And hopefully your internship will either be a job or a wonderful reference for the job you really want.
I can feel you in the "Happy Father's Day" department. Even though I am the only one with a living father, I couldn't go see him because I was tied up with work. You have to take a break sometime or you will be forced by your health or burn out.
You might also consider writing down your request concerning your work schedule. Managers have to remember a ton of stuff, and sometimes they forget what they promised you. They are human.

Your mom did you a major disservice by telling you that her friend called you names. This "friend" needs to be voted off the planet. Encourage your mom to not see her any more. It's not you that has the problem, it's her attitude. Ignore her and prove her wrong. It's much more powerful.

I will attempt to void being cliche' in this question. More often then not I know most of you are tired ( I know I am) of people asking "ok so theirs this boy, and im this gurl, ummmm ok soo ". Most of the time the question asker cant even spell the most simple of words as in the example above. I grew concerned about this recently due to the fact that a considerably younger female approached myself Via internet, and lied about her age.(stated she was 17, later I found out she was 15). Also it might prove helpfull to know that I am a 19 yr old male, about to turn 20. Im a model so this kind of thing has happened before however for some reason it hasnt bothered me until now. The age of consent is different in every state. I would probably hazard a guess as it being possibly 17 if that is what she quoted you as the lie. It could land you in jail whether she lied to you or not. I think 17-18 is the usual age. If they can work without a permit, they can usually date an older guy.

5'7 and 135 is not really all that overweight. 5'7 and 235 is pretty bad (which is where I am). Crash diets do not work. Changing your lifestyle and how you approach food does. I did wiegh 252. But that really isn't the problem.
You know who your sister is, and until she meets some real consequences, she isn't going to change. Quit wasting your time. Just try to negogiate when you aren't mad at her. For instance, "I would really appreciate it if you could let me have the computer from 3-4pm tomorrow so that I can do some things." And get a kitchen timer and stick to whatever plan you two agree on. Pitching it to your mom shows immaturity, so figure it out amongst yourselves.

No I haven't tried a new fuel filter but I will. I want to thank you for taking the time to give me your advise. I don't think so. You can take her to the health department. She will need to share some of her family history/medical history, which isn't a big deal.
Please remember two things: no birth control is 100% and you still need a condom even if she is on birth control. So plan ahead (which you are on the right track).

Last Night I bought Clean&Clear (Daily Cleansing Pads). I used it and this morning its dry but still showing bad and i see lil dots so that means more acne! Has anyone ever used this or known/know someone who has? How long does it take? It says Daily Cleansing Pads but does anyone do it more than once? HELP IM GOING TO THE BEACH IN A COUPLE DAYS AND I DONT WANT TO LOOK LIKE A *F*R*E*A*K*!!!!

Worrying about it give you more acne. No kidding. You might be aggravating the problem if you do it more than once. I would suggest a really hot bath and a light scrub with soap will do just fine. You aren't a freak, you are a teenager. Put your hair up and away from your back for a while. And if you wash your hair every day or every other day, then that should help too. But sometimes the more cleanser and chemicals we put on our skin, the worse the problem becomes.

I have a 1990 Ford Probe 4 cyl. non-turbo w\Mazda 2.2 motor. Help!!! I just paid $900.00 for valves and head job. After getting the car out of the shop it has no power (bogs and has no get up and go at all). It uses an extreme amount of fuel and it has a strong fuel smell as well as back fires. It drives like this for the most part but once in awhile it will kick in long enough ( a few short miles) to make you think it may be running better then, Wham! It goes right back to it's no power, cutting out, and runs like ---- self. Can you please point me in a direction I can maybe get this problem fixed. Being a single mother of 2 I can't continue this game of nickle and diming me to death, this car has broke me yet I can't afford to buy a different one. Please, any advise appriatiated.

Have you tried getting a new fuel filter? If it's stopped up, it would affect your gas mileage, backfire, etc. And cheap gas doesn't help either. Never gas up at a station that is having its tanks filled because all the bad stuff floats to the top. I can't believe the shop let you have it like this. I would find another shop. They should at least have told you about it. If you have a male friend that can go with you or get rude with these guys, it would be a good idea.
A four cylinder engine does not have much get up and go. It just doesn't take off really fast, but it sounds like it is not even doing what it is supposed to. The Madza/Ford combo is not the best, and the last time I had a Ford it nickled and dimed me until we got rid of it. It was a Taurus (and because my dad is a freak) and has had about 3 engines and 5 transmissions since 1995. I would say get the heap working good and get rid of it/start saving for something else.

Start planning for the life of your child. Be sure your parents and his parents know about it. You cannot make him love you. You need to have a frank discussion with him on how you are either going to care for the baby or put it up for adoption. It is going to be very difficult to continue your education and raise your child. It isn't impossible, but it puts you at a serious disadvantage.
Keep the lines of communciation open. Be prepared for him to abandon you because it seems like he is already. Once you have the child he will either run or cling. If you have no parental support, please contact a social service in your area. You probably could start with the health department. Just try to get as much help as you can.

I started a pet sitting service so that I could "borrow" other people's pets. That was only part of the reason, but it has worked pretty well for me and the pets.
You might consider volunteering at a vet's office or pet shelter. Then you may at least help a little snake now and then. Check also with your local zoo.
When you can have your own place, then things will be better.

I just got out of 9th grade and my mother still will barely let me do anything. She won't let me go to the beach unless there's an adult there. I can't go anywhere with anyone unless she meets their parents first. She flips out when guys call. I wouldn't care so much but a lot of times a miss out on doing fun stuff because no one elses parents chaperone, they just drop their kids off places, and then I'm not allowed to go. Forget parties, because there are no parents she can confirm with that i'll be safe and not drinking or doing drugs. Does she expect me to never do anything in highschool? She doesn't trust my judgement, and doesn't understand that I won't make the same mistakes she did. I'm tempted to start lying 2 her and sneaking around so that I'm not stuck at home all weekend doing nothing. Soon my friends are going to be able to drive and she says I can't ride in their cars. I'm going to have a lot of boring weekends! How do I show her that I'm responsible so that I can go places? What can I say to her that will help her let go a little and not be so protective?
It's not you she doesn't trust. It's the hilarious "them." People who don't teach their children to be responsible by not being attentive to what they are doing. She doesn't realize that she needs to let up at least a little.
You need to make a deal with her. You'll call her at appointed times and tell her what is going on. She will let you hang out with friends. Can you invite your friends to your house? If you can find a friend who is into introducing her mother to your mom, then there is some security in them at least knowing each other's name. And then you can go visit. The more your mom knows about your life, hopefully the more she will begin to let go.
But doing nothing and being probhibitive just breeds the rebel.

I recently just found out that I have scoliosis. I have to get a brace and was fitted today for it. I'm going to have to wear it a minimum of 16 hours a day. I was wondering if there is any one who can tell me what it was like having a back brace and give me advice on when to wear it, what to do in the summer, and things like that. Thank you very much.
I had a friend that had a brace. She didn't have to wear it forever thank goodnes. She can take it off to swim and stuff. She just needs to not leave it off for a long period of time. The more she wears it per day, the less days she will have to wear it. She will probably need some baby powder at least.

You are probably too young for a breast reduction.
Try to draw attention away from your chest. Fun shoes, cool hairclips, snazzy pants are a few ideas.
And when they stare like that,you need a snappy comeback so they look embarrassed and disappear. One of my favorites: "Take a picture, it'll last longer." Just laugh them off like the silly little boys they are.

I have 2 kids no husband. I have made alot of mistakes in the past escpecially being premiscuous. I have compltly turned my life around now. Is it too late for or will God forgive me and except me into Heaven. Please someone who belives in God or is a Pastor or something help me.
It is never too late to turn back to God. Look at the thief on the cross next to Jesus, he was forgiven. Find a local church that you like and start talking to the pastor/priest. Once you get involved you will start feeling better.
Even if you don't decide to be Catholic, look up St. Mary of Egypt. She did bad things, but later turned into a Saint. May God Bless you.
