I have a little more understanding of the smoking/drinking thing. I wouldn't want to get involved with someone who does bad shit. I don't mind drinking, everyone drinks, smoking I can tolerate but if he does drugs then I'd stay away.

I suggest you have a long think about whether you really want to get involved with him, then casually suggest that you guys do something together. Say something like "I've been working on my cooking skills lately, do you think you'd be able to come round and have me cook you a meal sometime to see how I'm getting on?"
If he knocks you back, then just sayd "Okay, don't worry, maybe some other time." And walk away. He won't even realise he's been asked on a date.

Of course it's possiblt to fall in love with someone who you don't find physically attractive. I've only ever had one boyfriend I would describe as physically attractive and they only lasted a few days.
There is a large age gap between you but you're both adults so it's up to you. Bear in mind that you may have very different ideas about what you want to do in your free time, generally. You're younger and you'll probably want to go out on Friday nights whereas he might want to have a quiet evening in.
At the end of the day you have to do what you think is right. No one can make the decision for you.

Last night, my middle school had a dance. I finally got the courage to ask (let's call him "Will") Will, this guy I've really liked since April of last semester, to slow-dance. I don't think he was deliberately trying to hurt you. He probably thought you didn't like him anymore and that you were just good friends and he wanted your advice. From what you've said about him, it doesn't seem like he said it because he wanted to upset you. Don't be mad at him, I know it's upsetting that he doesn't feel that way about you but you just have to value his friendship and find someone else.

As long as your over the legal age and that you're not harming anyone then it's completely legal to get drunk. Although you can sometimes get put in a cell overnight if you are in the street drunk and the police feel that you could be a danger to yourself or others.

If you really like her then give her some time. If you're not really that bothered about whether you go out with her or not then don't bother with it. If you do decide that you'll wait until she's got time then make sure you don't completely shut off all other oppertunities. Wait a few weeks or months but no more than that because if she wants to be with you then she wouldn't leave it that long.
