Hey Everyone :) I'm Kate and a level 2 mod on here. I've had this account since July 2004, so I've been on here since I was 13! Wow ... crazy for me to think how long ago that was. I will admit I don't check in as often as I once did, but being away at college, being in a sorority, and having a job when I'm not at school is very time consuming. I still try to help out as much as possible, and if you send me a question I WILL answer it. Can anyone translate the line from 'Romeo and Juliet' for me?

Ohhh I like this question, I read it last year. Before reading it and getting the trasnlation from my teacher I had always thought it meant "Where are you Romeo" but my english teacher last year said that was wrong. All my friends argue with me about it, but it REALLY means...

"Why does your name have to be Romeo?"

Romeo, Romeo. Wherefore art thou, Romeo, deny thy father and refuse thy name.... or I shall do just that (or something along those lines)

It means Why do you have to be Romeo MONTEGUE (SP?) because she's a Capulet and it is forbidden for her to be with a Montegue. Then she says that if he won't deny his name (change his name) she will change hers to be with him. Yeah, it's sweet, it was a good romance story. I liked it a lot more than I thought I would. How can i have 8 glasses of water I cant drink it during the morning Or else i will need the bathroom all day. Cant during shcool no water allowed. And 8 glasses of water in the after noon i get off from school at 3:00PM and i go to sleep at 8/9:00PM. is it healthy to have it all in the afternoon.

I think you will be okay if you don't drink the full 8. Me, I bring a water bottle to school to drink during lunch. I don't really understand the whole no water in school thing for you. I mean I understand what you are saying but I think it's stupid. So if you can not have water during lunch then I suggest just a glass when you wake up, there is water in pretty much every food. So within the food you eat at lunch the water is about one glass. Then if you eat a snack (even if you don't) drink a glass or two when you get home from school. Then drink a glass or two with dinner. Maybe a glass an hour or so before you go to bed.
It's not like you will die if you don't have 8 glasses. It will be just fine because of water in your food. I only drink about 2-3 16floz water bottles each day. I do not know how many glasses that would be but yeah, that is all I have.

But really don't worry about it. A sure fire way to tell if you are dehydrated though is if your urine is a darker shade of yellow, or just a dark shade in general then you are dehydrated. The reason I know that is because when you play certain sports you can NOT play if you are dehydrated and that is how some coaches judge whether or not you can play. So yeah, if your urine is a light yellow or clearish then you're fine, but if it's dark then try and work in a few more glasses. Yeah, sorry, that isn't really something you care to hear about, but I just thought I would share a fact. Hope I helped!

Ok well I'm just learning to skateboard, and I was wondering if anyone knew of any cheap but GOOD skateboards I could get. I mean inexpencive but really good boards. Thanks.

Well I know at Sun and Ski sports they have boards that already come equipped with everything you need and they don't cost more than 20. But then you have your element boards (and all other brands... I'm not a skater but my brother is, so is on of my good friends) and when you get the board, the trucks, and all the other parts that go on it, it totals to be around $100-$120. I personally consider the price good because the skateboards are really good. Why I don't skateboard-- I can't afford to skateboard haha. But if you drop a line in my inbox (trust me, it is the ONLY way I'd remember) then I can have my skateboarding friend answer this sometime tonight or tomorrow.

But I'm in a rush to get to school (waking up late-- not a smart thing) so I can't go into much detail on what I actually know.
If you have a Sun and Ski sports near you (it would probably be in the local mall) I'd check it out, it's pretty good, at least I think so!!

Well at first they were denying it and saying it was untrue. But then MTV, CNN, and yeah like everyone on the news said it was so, they were SEPERATED! And yeah, their publisists are saying it's true.
My opinion is Newlyweds made it really hard on them. Try having cameras in your face like ALL the time and stuff like that, especially in the first few years of marriage. The first like 2-3 years are the HARDEST and I would (my opinion) think that Newlyweds made it harder by having cameras in their faces all the time, plus all the papparzzi and crap.

But yeah, anyway, they're done now. But I don't believe he cheated on her or she on him like lots of people are saying-- then again you never know.

Ok... you know how if you go on a site and login wit your username sometimes once you type in the first letter of your username it will come up with a drop down list of your username? Well, is there anyway to like erase that? My whole family is gettin sick of it because if you make a typo it still saves it and it sucks to have to look for your correct name mixed in with a couple typos.

Well if you mean for AIM then yes there is a way. I know you probably mean other sites too but AIM is the only one I can think of. All you do is scroll down to the name (don't click it because then it will come up instead of just highlighting it) Then NOT THE BACKSPACE but the DELETE button, for AIM it asks if you are sure (if you delete it then it erases your buddy info and all that good stuff, the only thing it keeps are the buddies)
But yeah, the delete button under the insert one, above the scroll keys... yeah I think you know what one I'm talking about.

I have a few questions...
1. Is it a 4-some if two he/she's (people with both male and female gentials)?
2. Is it considered shop lifting if you rape a prositute? (You know since you didnt pay her/him)

1.No because there's like no such thing as a 4-some, when it hits more than three it's called an orgy.

This is Lauren. I asked a few questions a while back. The most recent(besides this one) was about books. I didnt exactly get as many reponses as I was looking for. I took some of the advice. I took Shattering Glass, Cut, and A Child Called It from the library and read them. Does anyone know any other good books that deal with relashionships, dealing with abuse or rape, or any other REALLY dramatic books? I also LOVE a good mystery!

ANYTHING Nicholas Sparks (he's one of my favorite authors) I especially LOVED The Rescue and Message in a Bottle. Of course everyone knows about The Notebook and A Walk to Remember, I personally LOVE The Notebook, but I would read The Rescue a hundred times.

Well you could read the sequal to a Child Called It. I liked the Lost Boy a lot, of course A Child Called It was much better- I wouldn't really bother readying A Man Named Dave. I mean it's great to know how he turned out, but in my opinion it just wasn't as interesting as the first two.
Oh and for some other options, there are these books I LOVE but I can't think of the name of them. Oh yeah, Among the Hidden. There are 4 in the mini series, I LOVED all of them, Among the Hidden is the first, I don't remember the names of the rest but I would assume it isn't a hard thing to figure out.
If you are interested in the holocaust then the book Night by Elie Wiesel (sp?) was a good book. Also David's Star I think it's called. If not it's something like that, I read it in the 6th grade and LOVED LOVED LOVED it. It also is about the holocaust (I really like books and stuff about the holocaust, my cousins grandparents were sent to concentration camps and it interests me)

The Last Promise by Richard Evans is a romantic book and I liked it a whole lot (then again I'm also Italian and it takes place in Italy)

The Among the Hidden series are some of my favorite books. Margeret something I think is the author, if not then her books are really good but I haven't read them since 8th grade so I couldn't give you much information. I'm pretty sure the word peterson is used in her name though haha. I'm in 10th grade now and my memory isn't doing much for me so I'm just going to stop typing now :)

Well because I'm only a girl I'm not really sure about the guy questions, but I can answer the period one.

Unless you have (ahh I forgot the word) but the thing where you can no longer have children, you will have your period until around your 50's (ahhhh... I hate my period) And about what it feels like, sometimes you can't tell that you're bleeding, and sometimes it's like OH MY GOSH I NEED a bathroom!!!!! haha. I remember once in school my flow was so heavy I had to go inbetween each class, I wasn't able to get to the bathroom before one of my classes and I could feel myself bleeding throughout the class, yet the first time I ever had my period the flow was so light that I put on a pad when I woke up, and didn't change it until I went to bed, never once that week did I feel myself bleeding, it was quite nice.
It's kind of like discharge-- sometimes you can feel it coming out, sometimes you can't.

Well supposedly you can't get pregnant if you do that. At least that is what a friend of mine told me. She really only has sex on her period that way she won't get pregnant-- I'm not sure if I believe that, to me it's just a superstition I suppose you could say.

I don't think it feels better, but I do know it's messy. My friend usually puts towles underneath her and her boyfriend when they do that. (I'm still a virgin, so the information I'm getting is from my friend who is also a columnist though I don't think she has updated since this summer)

But anyway, though messy, it most likely is the better option because even if you can get pregnant having sex on your period, the chances are probably much less.

I have a unibrow..no doubt about it..but i started shaving for at least 5 months. Im not stupid and i new that it'd grow back darker and thicker. But i just thought i'd shave it all off before anyone could see. But now it's really dark and there are black dots.How do i get rid of it?

I started answering this question assuming you were a guy-- my mistake.

Okay well I'm still going to use parts of what I was going to originally say...
You should never have shaved them. My brother once tried waxing his eyebrows because they are sooooo bushy, because he is so tan he can't wax otherwise he gets this huge white spot. I'm not sure if it would be the same for you, like if you're tan and waxing leaves a mark, but if not, then I strongly suggest you do that. You should also bleach that spot of your eyebrows with facial hair bleach stuff. You could most likely get it at even the cheapest stores such as wal-mart, all you have to do is look. If waxing isn't going to work for you then I suggest plucking, it takes longer and hurts more but it's really your only other feasible option that I can think of off the top of my head.

Nicholas Sparks books deal with love. I am a huge fan of his books. Such as The Rescue and Message in a Bottle. There's this book I just read, umm I'm pretty sure the author is Richard Evans and the book is called The Last Promise (or something along those lines) It's a REALLY good book, it's about how a guy moves to Italy and falls in love with a lady who is married, but her husband cheats on her all the time and the lady and her husband have a son together and the son has really bad asthma. Anyway, it's REALLY REALLY good, lots of romace and love. Message in the bottle has one or two parts where they talk about "passionately making love" and that kind of stuff, but it's mostly just romance.

But yeah, for love stories, Nicholas Sparks is your man, if you have ever seen the movies The Notebook or A Walk to Remember, well Nicholas Sparks wrote the books that the two movies were made from.

If they are period pains, well it doesn't help for everyone, but bananas DO help with period pain!!!
Umm I know you said tylenol, alieve, etc. but have you tried midol? It's really good, at least for me.

Jogging helps a lot on my part, if I get really bad cramps then I'll go for a short jog around my section of my neighborhood, or I'll just walk around. Because your heating pad is broken I suppose I can't suggest that so I am now out of ideas. Sorry I wasn't more helpful.

Ok. Well I have been harrassed on this site twice. The first time I reported that person, s/he got banned. The 2nd time, wich included harrassment, and a death wish, that person didnt get banned. I dont remember seeing that telling people to die was legal in the faq. I dont know why he didnt get banned. One of my friends told that that a death wish leads to a perminant ban.

The person that harrased you, and the person who sent you that "death wish" was the same person, so they were banned. You did not report them for telling you that you should die, I looked at the report, you reported to find out who is harassing you, that is information you do not need to know- that information is for administrators of the site, and only so we can ban them when neccessary-- you don't know who it was that was harassing you, so how do you know they were not banned, because in reality they were banned. So in so many words, nothing is going on, they have been banned and you do not need to worry about it anymore.

I think you have to pay, but we watch those things like every day in science that's how I remember the stuff, they're stupid but sometimes funny, and I don't know, they help you remember things about science that not many care about haha.

You could wear sports bras, also loose fitting shirts might make them seem smaller. Don't wear bras that make them seem bigger such as padded bras.

Yes, you can still add pictures. But you have to do so a certain way. I used photobucket to add pictures to mine (you have to have another site unless you have premium, you can't just upload them)
