Just scrub your face every night- and wash off the soap! I've heard toothpaste works, but all remedies vary. Also, home facials like those with oatmeal keep your skin clean- that's the key- pimples are caused by oil on the skin, so do your best to keep your face clean.

try putting head & shoulders dandruff shampoo on it. i know that sounds retarded but it works.
definitely DO NOT put toothpaste on a pimple, that is the stupidest thing EVER. it dries out the pimple, but it also dries out the skin around the pimple which makes it red and it usually peels/blisters up.

i use safeguard soap every morning && every night. then i dab rubbing alcohol on my face once a week. && apply a tinted moisterizer.* works great for me.
