yes, it is definitely a stupid thing to do.
1)it'll be an absolute mess.
2)you can still get pregnant even though you have your period.

I wouldnt know but I mean my friend says its the same but your period will stop while your donig it. But still you problably shouldnt be doing it but I mean if thats what you do I cant tell you what to do

you could still get pregnant because you dont know which day of your period that the egg would have left your body.. it could be the first day of your period or the last, you never really know. soo still use protection, anyway.

Well supposedly you can't get pregnant if you do that. At least that is what a friend of mine told me. She really only has sex on her period that way she won't get pregnant-- I'm not sure if I believe that, to me it's just a superstition I suppose you could say.
I don't think it feels better, but I do know it's messy. My friend usually puts towles underneath her and her boyfriend when they do that. (I'm still a virgin, so the information I'm getting is from my friend who is also a columnist though I don't think she has updated since this summer)
But anyway, though messy, it most likely is the better option because even if you can get pregnant having sex on your period, the chances are probably much less.

I would think its more uncomfortable because of the cramps, and kinda messy because of the blood and it would make me sick but thats just me.

some girls i know said it feels better, i guess because of the extra lubrication, but i personally wouldn't. the blood would most likely gross me out, but if you don't have a problem with it then go ahead. just make sure you use protection because you're most likely to get pregnant around the days of your period. :)
