Go ahead. Young people need to date a lot of different people until they find someone special to them. I see no need to wait unless you are still hanging on to feelings for your ex. Since you have already found someone else that interests you, I really don't think that's the case. So ask her out and have fun. :)

hey i think i might be starting to question my sexualty...every time i hang around my good friends that i have no my whole life i just want to jump on them and start making out with them. It is perfectly natural for a teenager to question their sexuality. If you have always dreamed of marrying and having children, chances are you are straight. That doesn't mean you can't have a crush on a girl now. You are finding people you look up to and admire and those feelings can sometimes be confusing. For now, just remain friends with everyone, sooner or later you will have no doubts about it. :)

Just as a forewarning, this is going to be long. I write a lot. If that's a problem, stop reading right now.
I've been with my guy for nearly two years, and we're planning to get married after college.
His parents love me, his mom treats me like her daughter, I call her mom and she's fine with it. My dad likes my guy, and my guy likes my dad (they have a lot in common, actually...), I have a ring on my finger, and we hardly ever fight.
The only problem is my mother...My whole life I've always craved my mother's approval. For awhile, she was almost my idol. I admired her...but I find myself trying to ignore her now. All she does is criticize things my boyfriend does and point out all the negative things she possibly can when she knows I love him and he's proven to her several times that he loves me and truly cares for me.
A big problem is my mother's chemical sensitivity. She's allergic to quite a bit of...well, everything, really. My family can't use anything scented because scents make her sick - they give her headaches, make her nauseated, she acts drunk...
She needs to ask people who come over to our house to wash their clothes in unscented laundry detergent, to use unscented shampoo, soap, everything.
My boyfriend's not exactly...compliant. I hate having to ask people to get unscented, especially him. Call me girly, but I like the way he smells. I can't help it. It's kind of a comforting thing. So I'm not pushing the "get unscented" issue because I don't really want it to happen. However I would like him to be able to come over every so often. He doesn't seem to understand that he can't fool my mom by standing under the shower for a few minutes and that he needs to use unscented shampoo and soap to get the smell that was there off.
He thinks my mom's crazy. It offends me a little, and I've told him that. But it bothers me more that my mother seems to be trying more than anything to get me to break up with him, though she claims she's not. She told me once "get another boyfriend who'll do what we need."
How do I get her to see that I picked him, I want to marry him, and I'm not about to leave him for some prick who only loves my body?
How do I get him to be more compliant?
How do I get my mother and my fiance to get along? I've tried talking to her and I've tried talking to him. I haven't tried having them talk to each other, though. I'm not sure how much that'd help, though...they can't go out to dinner or whatever because my mother's allergic to everything. What can I do?

First off if your mom is allergic to everything that isn't something she can change. Since she can't change he will have to. If he wants to see your mom then he will have to use the unscented stuff to visit at your house. If he doesn't then he will have to see you everywhere but your mothers house. It is after all her house and he can't deliberately just not do what it takes.
He could come over and stay outside. Maybe you can barbecue or something and have a visit. Mom can join in or not, that would be up to her. I don't know how much of his scent would get on other family members and be brought inside...so that may or may not be a solution.
As for mom just acting like she doesn't like him...that you may have to ignore. When it comes down to it she can't control who you date or marry. She will be miserable in the long run if she doesn't get over it. Have you asked Dad for help? Maybe he has some insight on the situation that could be of help. Basically you just have to tell mom...I love this guy, We are getting married, we want you to be a big part of our future....and see if she tries to change. I certainly hope she does. Girls have nice smelling shampoo and guys like nice smells...or so I'm told. I spray my perfume at mine and hubby really likes that. :)
As for boobs...think that is a guy thing. Has to be!

Hey, one of my best friends is recovering from anorexia and she wants me to watch "For the love of Nancy". She won't tell me why, but she asked me to watch it. She said I could just download it. I have Limewire, and tried looking for it but it's not there.. I went to Blockbuster and they don't have it. I can't order it from amazon.com or any of those websites so idk what to do. It might be a made for TV movie or possibly a film made for special use or something. Ask your friend where to get it EXACTLY. If she saw it in connection with her recovery she might ask whoever showed it to her and find out how copies can be obtained by friends. :)

You need to tell her that neither you or Scott like it and she should stop. It may actually be better if he said it to her. At least it sounds like Scott knows what shes up too. I don't think you have anything to worry about as far as he goes, but I am sure it gets down right annoying. :)

I think if you are able by all means keep the kids together. It is ultimately up to you and your boyfriend. It seems he is willing to accept some responsibility and that is a big plus these days! I wish you luck in whatever you decide. :)

I think it depends a lot on the question. Some have answered some questions a million times and don't bother. Some just don't know how to answer, and no answer is better than a bad one. It would be nice if all questions got a lot of answers though. I do agree there. :)

You will usually get the morning sickness about the time you miss your first period. It is mostly nausea and vomiting. It doesn't necessarily have to be in the morning wither it can hit in the afternoon as well. It is just more apt to hit you in the morning when your stomach is empty. Young girls can miss periods without being pregnant though. Stress can cause it to be missed, so try not to worry about it to much until you have to. Best of luck. :)

I have a friend who is a cutter. She has been for as long as I can remember. Lately, we have become best friends and I felt like cutting, too. Not because I have a bad home life or because I have stress in my life or anything like that because I don't, but I think it's because I am best friends with her now. I did cut my legs up pretty bad just 2 weeks ago, but then I never did it again and now they are healed. I keep getting the urges to cut, and then I tell myself not to. But I still can't help but feel so influenced by her to cut myself. A long time ago I used to cut because I liked it, but that didn't last long and wasn't as obsessed with it as I am now. I love this girl with all my heart. She really is a GREAT friend that I had since pre-school, but I need help with trying to stop thinking about the whole idea of cutting all together. 2 days ago me and my sister were running outside in my uncles back yard and i ran around her and i stepped on a 2 1/2 inch rusty bolt and it went 1 inch *or more* in my foot and i had to go to the hospital. well now im back home and i have no crutches or a wheel chair or anything and i really want to walk around my house but when i hop on my good foot it makes my ribs and knee hurt too much does any one know a way for me to get around until i get crutches?

If its been a couple of days, try hobbling around walking on the side of you foot. It should work for short trips anyway. :)
