When I was very very young, maybe as young as 5, my obsesion with piercings was just beggining and I got my ears pierced. My hair wrapped around the earring, and I was unable to get it loose. I tried tugging and it wouldn't work, and when my mother tried to help she only hurt my freshly pierced ears. If this is part of the problem, if they are too sensative to tug on, then you should either wait until it heals more, and just twist it and move it back and forth until it heals; or, you could try to go back to the place where you got it pierced and have the piercer help you out. That is what I had to do when I was 5 or so.

when you use the common application to apply for college, is it okay to print it out and mail it to the college instead of doing it electronically??
Yes, it is. That is how I applied to the first college that I went to. If you are in high school, then you should be able to go to your guidance councelor and get a copy of the application. Also, if your able to go to the college, then they should have plenty of appications in the admissions office.

I recently got my tongue pierced. I love it, but the thing is, my church and friends don't approve of it. How do I deal with those opposed to the piercing?
Your always going to be faced with people that will have a prejudice against your piercings. It's almost inevitable. Just tell them that your the same person even if you decide to get a piercing. Just be very mature about it, and let them know that your are just as respectable with your tongue pierced.
If they still will not accept you, then get a red tongue ring and you can wear that when you want it to blend in with your tongue.

No, you don't. I have never had a father figure, and I believe that I turned out fine with good values and a strong will. Hopefully your mother is strong and will teach you how to be strong like her. Many people get divorced these days, and not all fathers are the best role models. Just make good decisions on who you do want as a role model and you'll turn out fine.

Okay well my ex boyfriend and I were dating for 9 months. Then he dumped me on our 9th month annerversary. I was so depressed. There are a few reasons why you should not tell him that you like him and just try to get over him.
1)because he already broke up with you for another girl.
2)because he is rude enough to try to go for a girl who already has a boyfriend
3)because you think he might go and tell all his friends that you like him
If he already broke up with you for someone else, then he doesn't deserve you. Let him go after the girl with a boyfriend, and let him fail many times.
If he's going after a girl that has a boyfriend, that is incredubly disrespectful to that girls boyfriend.
And, If you even think that he might go tell his friends that you like him, then he is very immature and downright mean.

It's a natural reaction. I'm sure it felt good when your friend said he liked you. Even though there was no physical attraction for you, you were still flattered by him liking you. If you are feeling jealous because you are starting to actually like him then talk to him and tell him you made a mistake. But if you think the jealously is only coming because you don't want him to like her, then you will soon get over it and be happy that he was able to move on.
But who knows, maybe you actually do have feelings for this guy. If you actually have strong feelings, then you might realize that the physical attraction is there also.
But it's a very real possibility that you are just upset that he moved on so quickly and went after your friend who gets everyone. It's not a bad thing, it's only human to get jealous like that. Don't go calling yourself a bad selfish person just yet. And I don't think that he really would have gotten over you as quickly as he pretends to be. He is probably trying to be strong and not show that he might have been hurt. So if you like him, then tell him and you will probably find out that he still has feelings for you.

Why do so many people use teenbonics and 7334? I do not understand. Teenbonics are generally used by the under-18 group (usually... not always...) and are frustrating for people to read sometimes. Especially if English is not the person's first language. 7334 or leet (short for elite) speak is just as obnoxious. It was originally used by hackers to talk about their... "jobs" in chats and forums so they would not be caught. Is it really so hard to type a few more letters? You is only two more letters than "u" and "lyk" is one letter short of being the proper form, like. Anyone else annoyed by teenbonics? Is there any polite way to correct people (especially friends) who use teenbonics? I know not everyone is perfect... a few capitalization or spelling etc. errors are fine. Constant abuse of the English language is wrong.
Yes, it's annoying, and it really does disturb me that young kids can be that ignorant about the English language. I've tried to correct people, and only get yelled at. I've been told that it's just way to easy to leave out those one or two little letters, and yes they would be type LyK DiS. I know that a person would not be able to type fast when they are using numbers, Caps. every other letter, and misspelled words. They just seem to think it's cool. When I can't read a question I give it a bad rating in hopes that more people will also rate it bad and it will eventually be deleted. If you are a level one Moderator, then help me by rating all the questions with especially bad teenbonics as frowns. Maybe if all of their questions get deleted they will start to realize that it really isn't very cool.
I am not saying that every young person uses this very annoying form of typing, and yes, I've come across quite a few 20-30 year olds who use it.

Guys will call you dumb... prude... a loser... they will pretty much say anything to get you to think that you should sleep with them. I have two horses that are the BEST of friends. You can't take one out of the pen without the other. They are stuck like glue, but one is 42 years old! really he is! and the other is at least 30. When one passes away, do you think we should put the other one down? I mean they are both already really old and I know that one would be in MISERY without the other. Just getting an idea if the event might arise.
Not to make you feel bad or anything, but that is extremely mean to think about doing. You can't just kill an animal because it's friend dies. Instead, why don't you think about how your going to need to give the younger horse extra love and attention. Would your grandmother want you to just kill her when your grandfather passes away? You should care about and love your horse just as much as if he/she was a part of the family.

It's cute, just be happy with it. If your friends joke around about it, just joke around with them. If a guy jokes around about it then it means he thinks it's cute. So just be happy with it. If it doesn't bother you as much, then maybe you wont blush quite as much.

It is fully YOUR decision about whether or not u are ready 4 sex but if u r having any doubts about it that u prolly aren't ready. Even better, u should prolly wait until ur older (or even married) cuz then u know that u truely love the person cuz u shouldn't b doing anything that u might regret.

Yup, I tend to avoid those kind of questions. I answered one before, telling a 13 year old that she was too young if she couldn't even say the word "sex" as opposed to "it". She gave me a one. These kids don't want to hear the truth that they're too young, they just want reassurance from others telling them to go ahead and have sex with whoever they want to.
