Judging from what you have said, you might not want to believe her. BUT you should still be wary of this boy until you get the whole story. Maybe if you brought it up to him, then he could shed some light on the situation. If she continues to avoid you about it then that might be your only option.

You seriously should have just told her the truth about going outside. She definately wouldn't have been as upset if you had told her the truth. Now, she is always going to be wondering if your lieing about any situation. If she can't trust you, then she's never going to give you space. You need to show her that she can trust you, and that your responsible enough to do the things that you want to do.

It's not the end of the world if you don't make new friends right away.

It might be different for different people, but when I got my tongue pierced, it seriously felt like a pin prick. It's afterwards that really hurts. When you talk, your tongue moves up and down, which moves the piercing, so you will be extra quiet for about a week after you get it done. Yes, it is definately worth it, the pain only lasts a week, or even less. You should try to stay away from dairy during that time, and you will only be able to "eat" liquids. I ate mostly yogurt, even though yogurt is a dairy. Depending on how sensative you are to piercings, dairy's are more prone to give you infections. Just make sure you put a ingestible-safe piercing solution on it every single time you eat something, drink something, or just when it hurts. Carry a water bottle around everywhere, because water will sometimes help to numb the pain.
Ok, I might be making it seem worse than it is, but it really is worth it.
While your getting it done, you could close your eyes and concentrate on something else if you think that will help, but when I get a piercing, I just look off to the side and focus on a picture, or something on the wall. You won't go into shock, but you might get a little dizzy. Most of the time, if it's a good, professional piercer, they will have you stay there in the same position for a minute or so to make sure that your ok.
Just so you know, the only time I got dizzy was when I got two piercings right in a row, you should be fine.

I just have a few questions. Does your dog live outside 24 hours a day? Do you give him attention daily? Do you brush him, make sure he always has plenty of water and shelter?
Personally, I do not think that it is very humane to make an animal live outside away from a loving family for it's entire life. Would you like it if you had to be stuck outside hooked to a chain, while everyone else is inside having fun? It doesn't sound like much of a life, does it?
I feel very passionately about this subject. Chained dogs, especially dogs that are chained 24 hours a day are so much more likely to bite a person, and possibly kill them because of their unhappy life. I can't stand it to have dog's get a bad reputation because it had a terrible life, and one day snaps at some kids passing by it's house. I own a rottweiler, and because of the bad reputation that they have gotten, my extremely sweet and gentle dog is avoided when I walk him down the street. I am having a very hard time finding an apartment that will allow him, because insurance companies decided that it was ok to discriminate against certain dog breeds. I blame uninformed owners.
Please do not take offense to this, I am only trying to warn you. Tell your parents that a dog that spends it's life chained is so much more likely to turn mean and aggressive and will go after someone in your family, or a stranger passing by.

Dogs that have wrinkles like Shar-Pei's, are really prone to skin problems. You need to take extra care to clean between they're wrinkles and keep them dry. Get DogFancy's September issue, it's all about Shar-Peis.
I've always wanted one, they're so adorable, but then I read that they are quite nasty to other animals, small children, and strangers. So make sure you are socializing him so that he wont try to attack a young child or small dog (or a large dog, he will likely get his butt kicked if he goes after a large dog)

When I realized that I was in love for the first time, I was scared to death. For much of the same reason that you are scared. I didn't think of it, as "I've been hurt so many times before, I don't want to be hurt now" because honestly, I hadn't been hurt before... because I wasn't in love with any of the other guys, it didn't really hurt when we broke up.
But I was scared to death to actually have loving feelings for this person. I didn't want to lose him, it would hurt way too much.
Honestly, there is nothing you can do about the future, you two may make it forever, but you also might not. Try not to worry about that. If you worry about it all the time then you will miss out on the great things that are going on in the present time. He is going through his long list of what any potential boyfriends must have, and one was that they absolutely cannot smoke Merit cigarrettes. Apparently He's very particular about his brand of cigs.
