I think that the next time they say something to u about abusing ur dog just try to ignore it if not tell them that u don't abuse ur dog. Tell them how much u luv him and tell cute stories about him alot!

if the dog looks really thin, and you can see its ribs, there might be something wrong with the dog, so try going to the vet and see if something is wrong with it, to make sure its ok, also you should always bring your dog in during blizzards or bad weather and make sure it had shelter all the time.. also food and water..
Hope i helped! if ya need anything else drop it in the inbox!!

Show your friends just how much you love your dog when they are there. Play with him a little bit, give him a treat, let him run free for a little while, and tell them that your dog is not abused.

www.dogsdeservebetter.com :)

"a study cited by National Animal Control News (March/April 2004) concluded that dogs who have been chained or tethered for more than eight hours per day are three times more likely to bite their caretakers than if they had not been chained."

I just have a few questions. Does your dog live outside 24 hours a day? Do you give him attention daily? Do you brush him, make sure he always has plenty of water and shelter?

Personally, I do not think that it is very humane to make an animal live outside away from a loving family for it's entire life. Would you like it if you had to be stuck outside hooked to a chain, while everyone else is inside having fun? It doesn't sound like much of a life, does it?

I feel very passionately about this subject. Chained dogs, especially dogs that are chained 24 hours a day are so much more likely to bite a person, and possibly kill them because of their unhappy life. I can't stand it to have dog's get a bad reputation because it had a terrible life, and one day snaps at some kids passing by it's house. I own a rottweiler, and because of the bad reputation that they have gotten, my extremely sweet and gentle dog is avoided when I walk him down the street. I am having a very hard time finding an apartment that will allow him, because insurance companies decided that it was ok to discriminate against certain dog breeds. I blame uninformed owners.

Please do not take offense to this, I am only trying to warn you. Tell your parents that a dog that spends it's life chained is so much more likely to turn mean and aggressive and will go after someone in your family, or a stranger passing by.

You might think that you are loving your dog and treating him/her good, but you could be terribly uninformed on this subject. Please Please visit www.dogsdeservebetter.com I hope this website will be informative.

Again, I do want to offend you, only inform you. If I am mistaken to what your dogs life is like, then you might have nothing to worry about, but any dog owner owes it to their wonderful pet to at least take the time to get more informed. Please visit the website, again it's www.dogsdeservebetter.com

Thanks for listening, if you actually took the time to read the entire thing.

You need to let your friends know, that your dog is an outside dog, there's no reason of saying that the dog is abused, because it's not, it's just where the dog stays and stuff..

Okay, 1, your friends should know you better than to think that your an animal abuser. (unless you are, but lets hope your not. ^.^) 2, you could just explain that it's an outside dog, and you would NEVER hurt it. Cuz you wouldn't, right? Hope that helps!!!!!!!!!!

hey, sometimes people asked me the same thing about my former pets. as long as you know your taking care of your pet, thats all that matters! You shouldnt stress yourself just because they dont think your taking care of your dog. They should trust you! I think you should flat out say...hey i take care of my dog and i love him/her ok? Hopefully they`ll stop!
-hope i helped out
