I'm new this year at a school and I thought it would be so easy to make friends, and it has been thanks to basketball. But during school, the most people ever say to me is like...Hi! and then when basketball practice comes around they're all crazy. I'm a VERY talkative person, but going to the same school for all my life (except this year) I know what it's like to have a new girl and instantly not like them because they're not as tight with your friends or whatever. I'm saying I need to sharpen my social skills, but asking questions like, "So...what do you like to do?" isn't a question I'd normally ask. It's odd asking questions like what's ur fav color and stuff....so i need help... (link)

I wanna start a hermit crab activist group in my state, because I, and others, believe that Hermit Crabs (land)are treated inhumanely. In pet stores they're always in tanks with out lights or heat lamps or spoges or the waters too deep and theyve all drowned in the water bowl. I HATE HOW THE POOR DEARS ARE TREATED!!
But i have my ways of getting them better living quaters. By Buying them all. like ....12 at a time from my local pet store....i buy every single one !!! Otherwise i go to the dude at the counter and tell him to clean out the tank once in a while. Or offer to clean it myself. Once i burst into tears cos all the poor little hermies were shell-less and food-less and it was AWFUL!!!
So Damnit, how can i get a group started in my town?? Can i spread the word around to my hermie friends and start an organisation that re homes them and adopts them??? Cos that would be cool.
Remember people- Hermit Crabs can live up to 120 years old in captivity, thses guys are pets for life, not just for christmas.

I have a very adorable cat named Kiwamu sitting on my lap, but sometimes, when she miows, i'm not sure what she wants. I'm pretty sure it just means she's board, but I can't always let her outside. She always has plenty of food out, and she knows where her litter box is, so I'm sure it is just because she wants attention. How can I keep her entertained when I can't let her outside? (link)

Tomorrow is my puppy's second b-day!

try to make her a house, like with an area for food and water, a place to sleep, a place to go to the bathroom, and a place to play! if you have cold winters where you live make sure its warm by puttin a heater in it. give her a door to get out with if you dont want her to go to the bathroom and or play inside! have fun!

puppymills are bad places where they keep animals locked up in cages so they can make babies to sell. usually when the males get old, they get killed *shot* =( the animals there are usually abused and the living conditions are bad.

My family adopted an adult cat, one year old, "Henry", to be friends with our lonely other one year old cat, "William". Both the cats are males. We've had Henry for three weeks, and he remains deathly afraid of everything. He braely eats, and hides under the bed. William visits him, and tries to play but Henry will not play, and runs away. We all have to keep incredibly quiet around the house, because loud noises scare the bejezus out of him. I want to make Henry feel more at home. What can I do? (link)

try to spend more time with the cat, and give it treats and talk to it! tell it about your guy problem and about your day! tell it what your doing this weekend! dont forget to talk sweetly because if you dont it'll get more scared!

try a guinea pig! they dont smell like rodents at all so the cats wont go after them! keep them in a cage and keep them up high! have fun!

Hi im Shelly and Im 14. I have had pets before but they have died. I did at one point have 6 rabbits but 2 we gave to my dads friends daughters and the rest have died. I don't know why thought. We look after them well and dont treat them bad we give them plenty of exercise too but still they died. I have 1 rabbit now and she is 2. I have wanted a dog for ages but my mum won't let me have one. She said its because she doesn't want a dog in the house, but she loves my uncles dog loads. I am starting to think the reason is because she doesn't trust me to have anymore pets. plz help me to change my mums mind.

try getting a rabbit book for beginners and reading it, then showing her how responsible you are with her. maybe she just doesnt want a dog in the house, try to get a small dog to start out with, they usually arnt that rough, they might need some more training though because they might be a baby.

riding horses arent hard at all! you might be scared at first, but once you try it a few times, you'll get more used to it and like it more! for jumping make sure you have a good instructor, so that you learn to jump right

try a guinea pig, a hampster, or a small dog, like a shih-tzu! shih-tzus are soo cute! also a anole *a small lizard* try those and have fun!!
