she's crawling all over my keyboard... I have a very adorable cat named Kiwamu sitting on my lap, but sometimes, when she miows, i'm not sure what she wants. I'm pretty sure it just means she's board, but I can't always let her outside. She always has plenty of food out, and she knows where her litter box is, so I'm sure it is just because she wants attention. How can I keep her entertained when I can't let her outside?

Hmmm . . .
Catnip is always fun. You can hang something (I use a broken Mardi Gras necklace) from your doorknob and swing it around until she starts playing with it.
On the not knowing what she means . . .
I used to have a book that was "Understanding your cat" or something along those lines. It was great, because it listed all the different kinds of meows, all the different tail positions, so you could really interpret what your cat was saying. You could probably find information along those lines on google. ]
play toys duh my kitty goes whak over them she hardly wont be in site inless you get the ones u thro but get something to go on the door to hang ]
pet her, and give her/he love. but pet her/he gently and nice. maybe the cat will like that. beleive me, i have a cat just the same. ]

Whoever said that cats needed to be outside to have fun? I've got two indoor cats, and they enjoy themselves indoors so much, that I've begun to envy them! But my younger cat encountered the same problem as Kiwamu has. Get them some fun balls to chase, or a laser-pen (just don't point it in her eyes!) Maybe get her a scratching post if she stil has her claws, or do my cat's personal favorite: set out some bokes for her to crawl through. Make a little maze, and place small treats throughout it. It'll keep her entertained for hours! ]
get a laser pen. Seriously. Cats love to chase the laser point around the room and its pretty entertaining for humans to watch also. Just watch you dont put it in her eyes. Or yours. ]
Yeah. I have four cats so it's kinda hard to keep them all entertained. What I sugest you do is you can go to the pet store and buy some toys. My cat LOVE the balls that have bells in them that they can toss around. You can also get cat nip which seems to keep them forever entertained. Cat nip spray you can spray on favorite toys or if you want to try something you can even make a simple pillow filled with catnip and it usually makes them go crazy. Hope you can figure it out! ]
my cat does that too - and she's an indoor cat. chances are if your cat's been an indoor cat all her life, then it's probably not her wanting to go outside...there are plenty of other ways to entertain your cat without letting her outside. it depends on your cat's personality and mood. if you haven't brushed her in a while or checked for fleas, it could also be that. ihe could even just be meowing because she wants to. I wouldn't be too worried unless she starts acting weirder than usual or something.
by the way, Kiwamu is a very cute name. XP ]
Ah, I once had a cute little kitty. He WAS allowed outside until he kept getting into fights. Poor guy, he always got cuts and thus got FIV and developed a feline AIDS. How'd I keep a wild cat entertained inside? Well, he always loved to chase string. I bought him a little mouse that moved when you pulled the string and he's chase that. Maybe throw some balls around, cats love that. A little catnip never hurt either. Toys are pretty much my suggestion, but not all toys thrill cats. I bought many my cat didn't care for. A simple ball or sting always got his attention though. And you don't always have to control the sting. Be creative, hang it from the ceiling with a little catnip on it, Kiwamu will love it. OH! I also had a little device that made the sound of a bird. He absolutely LOVED chasing that around, wondering what was making that bird noise! Those are my suggestions. ]
