is riddin horses hard? i wanna start but im real scared of jumpin....how high have you gone??

i have been riding for 8 years. I am 13 years old. horse back riding can be scary sometimes. I have broken ny arm from jumping. But that happens to alot of people. If you love it enough, you wont let things like that bug you.you just keep on riding. I have jumped around 3 "6 alot. I show too.

there are all types of riding you can do...western, and dressage if you dont want to jump. I jump adn i think it is ALOT of fun.. i have jumped up to 3'6 and love every minute of it. Of cource if you start jumping it takes awhiel to start jumping higher and higher...but if you like it GO FOR IT and see if you like ti!

Once you get used to it, it isn't that hard... You don't even have to jump if you don't want to. There is no written law about how high you have to jump. Anyway, you start off small and work your way up!

riding horses arent hard at all! you might be scared at first, but once you try it a few times, you'll get more used to it and like it more! for jumping make sure you have a good instructor, so that you learn to jump right

hey well yah riding horses is hard cuz u gotta controll them with ur legs too and its like a 1500 pound animal under ur as* lol but its soo worth it it helps u build muscle too ! and i dont jump i do pennin but jumping looks hard....and dont be scared u just gotta find that perfect horse it took me 3 years to find mine but o man its worth it !

well i used to take english and hated it my advice take western it is ten ten ten times better and u dont have to jump at all but if u want to take english it is ten times hareder and u have to be more proper and yur not relaxed at all but when u jump for the first time i am sure yur instruckter wont make u go very high for the first time but all i can say is hold on it isnt hard

Yea, its pretty difficult if you want to master every technique. Not all riding is jumping though. you can do barrel racing, trail riding, or any other type of pleasure riding. I jump and I've gone about 4.5 feet :)

If you are worried about falling or anything, just go on a horseback ride, they will give you the basics and its very easy to learn. You are thinking way ahead, you have to know how to control the horse! Jumping is something you will encounter when you get more experiance, but for now, dont worry!

Start riding horses slow. Don't just start with jumping, soon you will grow to trust the horse and eventually be able to jump. Maybe get someone to help you, make sure they know what they are doing. Good Luck Hun

Ridding for me isnt really hard just because i have done it since i could walk hahaha. And as far as jumping goes....at first its kinda scary because your not used to a horse doing that while your on its back but after about a month...all you wanna do is jump bigger and bigger and it gets just soo exciting and alot less scary...i have jumped 3 foot 9 inches...my world record!!! lol..but horses are great and i love ridding
