A cat would be your best option. Cats are loveable and playful, but at the same time will leave you alone when you need it to. Cats find a toy in anything and are always running about so don't worry about excersise. You need to feed them daily of course, and change the litter box. ]
well.. id get a small dog or guinea pig, or even a rabbit! ive had all of them and i love the dog but they take a lot of time, u could get like a not very hyper dog.. just research and it will be fine! ]
you could get some type of dog that doesnt shed..make sure it has very short hair though..if you decicde to get a hamster or something be prepared your gonna have to clean the cage all the time..well good luck! hope i helped xOx
please rate me! ]

Get a beta fish, Feed it once a week. Play with it by moving your finger on his glass, and making him fallow. lol

A rat or guinea pig sounds like the pet for you! The only care you give them is to feed and water them, and to change their bedding every few days. They are very nice and smart, and you can play with them or hold them. ]
If you're looking toward a dog, I suggest a scottish Terrier. If you wanted to, all you have to do is feed them, have tons of toys, and play with them. If they get bored they go on their own and play by themselves.
Hope I helped at least a little,

ok i think you should get a cat because you can teach it to use the liter box....all it needs is a big enough cage for it to sleep eat and drink if you work.........and when you get home let the cat go
or you can get a dog.....out it some bathroom pads on the ground for it to use the bathroom........and play with it
hope i could help

Cats are pretty easy. Just clean out their litter box, comb them at least once a week (unless you get a longhair- like me!), and feed them! ]
Try a cat, totally! Cats like playing with things like string and my cat even likes to play with pen caps. Dogs on the other hand need lots of care and need to be potty trained but cats simply go in the litter box. They're cute, cuddly, and fun. If you do decide to get a cat try getting a male, they're usually much more lovey dovey while females can be a bit sassy, yet still very fun. ]
* Maybe i can help *

- Cats don't take a lot of general care, but they do like a LOT of attention.
- Hamsters, gerbils, and small animals like that are really easy to take care of, and can be entertaining.
Go to a pet store and look around .. ask questions before you buy something though! ]
Cats. Cats are pretty much independent and in my opinion, don't require much care. Feed em, get a litterbox, thats pretty much it. (Besides vets stuff of course) They're playful too. Look for someone whos cat has recently had kittens, go pick one out and you're set. ]
i now a alot about animals first thing dont get a dog or cat here are some u can look into and read about on line sugar glider, small reptile, bird,
or mabey a tiny dog or even fish they are fun to watch look into wat i advised i hav read about all of them.
luv vanna
PS: hope it works out ]
A bird is a great pet. I had a parakeet. They require very little care and can be lots of fun. You can teach them to talk and everything. My bird would say everything. Its best to get them when they're young. The more stripes they have on their head, the younger they are. ]
Some apartments dont allow dogs...but you could always get a cat, or a bird, or fish...
Some apartments do allow dogs...but you never know.
You have to check with the management office, before getting any kind of pet!!
Hope this helps...

I think you should get a hamster ]
A cat doesnt need much care. its trained to use the bathhroom and it doesnt mind being alone. I have 2 cats and a dog. my dog is sooooooooo much fun and doesnt require much care,
~*Bea*~ ]
ok um... if i were you i would get a cat! because they dont need as much care as a dog would and they dont pee everywhere they have tehir own litter box and they dont eat alot! ]
you should probably get a cat. they are fun to play with and you dont have to give it a bath. But make sure you have lots of toys and a litter box! *BROOKIE*
plez rate me! ]
I'm a cat person so I may be biased on this one,but I think a cat would be perfect for this situation. While they do require some care(namely the litter box and making sure their food bowls are filled, lol),cats are very independant creatures, they can get along just fine while you're gone and they don't require CONSTANT 24/7 attention! But while they're independant, they are great to play with and they are very loyal and cuddly animals. They make great companions!!!:) Let me know what you get!!! :) ]
well i have 2 dogs and a rabbit a cat and fish so ... something that dosent need alot of car to me is a cat ]
Get something like a hamster, rat, mouse, rabbit, guinea pig.. They're all small and aren't that much work. ]
i have a guinea pig and she is wonda ful they just need a cage food and water and they love to run around and love to cuddle they are so cute!! ]
I'm sorry for this answer, you might not like it, but I volunteer at an animal orphanage and work at a kennel and also a veterinary clinic. I don't like it when people ask what kind of pet to get that doesn't take a TON of care, because ALL pets take a TON of care. If any animal is cared for properly then they take a ton of care. There are so many responsabilities that people just don't realize, and thats why so many pets are sent to animal orphanages. I see so many dogs, cats, birds, hampsters, rabbits, and lizards come into the orphanage because people got the animal thinking that there wasn't a whole lot of care involed. Later, after finding out that these animals needed too much time to take care of, they sent them away.
Birds need a LOT of socialization if you want them to be nice to you, that means holding them, playing with them, spending time with them, cleaning them almost constantly. The same goes with lizards and small pets like hampsters and guiney pigs, and also rabbits. You probably know that dogs need a lot of time and care and training, but so do cats.
It will be so sad if you get an animal, and don't have the time to socialize and tain him/her, and then that animal gets sent to an orphanage because of bad behavior problems. ]
Alright, I know from experience that a sheltie is a great pet to have! It doesn't require a ton of care, and they are good tempered. Hope this helps!~Good luck! ]
I think that a dog would be great! How about a LAB? They are playful, loving, and don't require a bunch of care. I have one and we've had her for 13 years, we love her like a part of the family. Go to a local animal shelter and see if you can adopt one. hope I helped! ]
How about a Parrot? sounds strange yeah i know! but some can talk and dont take up too much of your time! ]
cats are a really good pet. the dont need attention all the time and will still love you even if you havent seen it in a few days. there all ways take your love no matter what. hope i helped! rate me plz*

Cats... there lazy... lol or a fish... but they are boring... or a hermitcrab... or a bird-trix ]
well almost all pets need alot of care but i think the most playful pet u can get is a dog or cat... but depending on the type of dog is how much you have to do and a cat u hardly have to do anything like i have a chiuhuahua and all i ever have to do is bathe is adn get its shots and nails cliped but other dogs u have to get them to cut their hair and things like that and the truth is that cats are playful but when they want to be but hey good luck and hope i helped ya!
