i'm gonna start off by saying i'm NOT a whore
me and my boyfriend have been going out for over 9 months and he's fingered me once and we makeout alot thats about it ;; i kinda would like some more "exitement" and i give him handjobs all the time and was even thinking of giving him head (even tho i have NOO IDEA WHAT TO DO!) and maybe even sex.. i've given him alot of time and i dont wanna like push him but do you think i should say something to him.. if so what?

btw he's one year younger then me
do you think that has much of an affect on it?

You cannot push your boyfriend into doing things he isn't ready for.

The fact that he is a year younger than you is a very important factor as these are the years when you go through puberty and your hormones are everywhere. You're both still developing and growing, some do this at a slower pace than others. You may think that you are ready to go further with him, but that does not necessarily mean that he feels the same.

Try talking to him about what he wants. For a 14 year old, I wouldn't consider fingering and making out prude. Do not under any circumstances force him into doing something he doesn't want to do. Obviously I can't tell you what to do, you will make your own choices, but try to be careful when making decisions about how far you are willing to go. Sex may seem like a good idea now, but will you look back in ten years time and feel glad that this is how you lost your virginity?

are leg warmers stillin style? because i just bought some but no ones been wearing them at my school so are they?

Things go in and out of fashion all the time. As far as I know, legwarmers haven't been a main feature on the catwalks this season, but that doesn't mean you can't wear them. If you pay too much attention to what is and isn't fashionable then you would be changing your style almost every month.

i am in special ed and i was wondering how come students can get scribe(written for them by a teacher) i dont get scribe but my friend does i just have a reading disibility but it feels unfair wat do i do

Some people have disabilities such as Dyslexia which make reading and writing difficult. This can make getting ideas onto paper tricky and a scribe can be really helpful. Your special ed coordinator may feel that although you have trouble with reading, you're okay at writing. If you feel that you would benefit from a scribe then I suggest talking it over with him/her.

what does the term " you are the sex " means? or " its the sex "

It's really just a lighthearted term. To call your friends 'the sex' etc is along the same lines of 'you're great'. The same goes for 'it's the sex'. It just means something is really cool/good etc.

Do you think that some of the older kids from the TV show Kid Nation have myspaces?

It's probably quite likely. Try searching their first and last names on Myspace and see what you come up with. Remember that seeing as they've been on TV, they might get a lot of friends requests and may prefer not to add strangers.

i got a trial of adobe photoshop cs3 extended, and i was wondering how to make the picture black and white, but like leave my shirt its normal color.

hop that makes sense. THANKS

Open your picture and duplicate the layer (layers > duplicate layer). Make sure you have the top layer selected and desaturate it (image > adjustments > desaturate). Now select the eraser tool and go over the area you want to be in colour.

I don't understand this whole thing about "le present, L'imperatif, le Passe Compose and L'imparfait."

I have to fill out sheets w/ all of those tenses for the verbs aller and venir.

i completely don't get this. so can someone explain to me the different french verb tenses?

Le present, as I'm sure you've worked out, is the present tense. You use this to describe what is happening at the present time. Most French verbs are regular -er verbs, which means they follow a pattern. E.g 'aller' (to go), 'regarder' (to watch), 'manger' (to eat). To convert these infinitive verbs into the present tense, in most cases we simply lose the -r. So 'regarder' becomes 'regarde', 'aller' becomes 'alle' and so on.

There are also regular -ir and -re verbs. For example, 'venir' (to come) becomes 'venis' and 'perdre' (to lose) becomes 'perds'. There are a few exceptions to the rule and these are know as irregular verbs. There is no easy way to remember these other than to learn them.

Le passe compose is the most common form of what we know as the past tense. We use this when describing what has happened or what someone has done. An important thing to remember with the past tense is that there are two different parts of the verb - the auxiliary verb (who or what did the action) and the past participle (what happened).

One of the easier auxiliary verbs is 'avoir'. Do you remember our regular -er verbs? In their case, the past participle part of the verb is formed by replacing the -er ending with -é. For example, 'manger' becomes mangé. For our regular -ir and -re verbs, we can do something similar. The -ir verbs work by simply removing the -ir and adding i. 'Venir' and 'finir' (to finish) become 'veni' and 'fini'. For verbs ending in -re, we placed the -re with u. 'Perdre' becomes 'perdu' and so on.

As with irregular present tense verbs, it is best to just learn them. You should also learn the verbs which take 'être' as an auxiliary verb. A common method of remembering these is 'MRS VAN DER TRAMP'. Each intial stands for a verb. You might find it useful to look at these verbs here: http://acronyms.thefreedictionary.com/DR+MRS+VANDERTRAMP.

L'imparfait or imperfect tense is another past tense used to describe what was happening or what used to happen at a certain time.

To form it, you need to know the 'nous' (we) form of present tense verbs. For example, 'nous regardons' (we watch), 'nous mangeons' (we eat). Next, we remove the -ons from the word so that we are left with what is know as a stem - 'regard', 'mange'.

Now we add the following endings:
je (I) ... -ais
tu (you)... -ais
il/elle (him/her)... -ait
nous (we)... -ions
vous (we)... -iez
ils/elles (they - plural)... -aient

So if we wanted to say 'I watched' in the imperfect tense, we would say 'J'ais regard'.

The future tense is probably the easiest of all. The easier method is to simply take your infinitive verb (jouer, manger etc) and add whoever will be doing it. For example, if you are just saying 'I will do' then it's as simple as 'Je vais jouer' (I will play).

If you're still confused, you might like to take a look at this website: http://www.gcse.com/french/tenses.htm.

is vanessa hgens fired and replaced for high school musical 3?

When it was originally confirmed that the pictures were of Hudgens, there was a rumour that she had been replaced by Adrienne Bailon, of The Cheetah Girls fame. Disney later indicated that they would still be working with Hudgens, stating, "Vanessa has apologized for what was obviously a lapse in judgment. We hope she's learned a valuable lesson."

whats the difference between a promise ring and an engagment ring ?

An engagement ring is a ring given (traditionally from a male to a female) on engagement.

A promise ring is a ring given to indicate a promise. These can be given in various different situations, often from one romantic partner (again, traditionally male) to the other to signify commitment without necessarily getting married.

today all of a sudden on myspace i get those messages saying approve comment/ picture comment and i never used to. its annoying so how do i get rid of that?

You are not the only one experiencing this, several of my friends are too. I personally am not getting those messages but everytime I've commented anyone in the past few days, this message has popped up: 'This user requires all comments to be approved before being posted. Your comment has been submitted to this user for approval.' There have been technical problems on the website recently, which may have something to do with it.

Try Account Settings > Spam > deselect 'Require approval before comments are posted'. If this doesn't work, then just wait it out.

im getting my belly button peirced...
wut things can i do to get ready for it..?

Make sure you are right for the piercing. Many piercers will not go ahead with it if they think you are too thin or if you are going to grow more. If you get pierced then grow a fair amount then there is a chance that the piercing could grow out with you. If you are too thin then there is the possibility that there is simply not enough skin there to be pierced.

You might like to go and see your piercer before your appointment to talk about the procedure and check that you are suitable for it. The piercer will be able to answer any questions you may have and explain what will happen.

This website: http://www.bmezine.com/ may be helpful to you. It features piercing experiences from people as well as information about it.

is the verizon chocolate phone mostly designed for people who want to listen to music on their phone? because i'm considering getting one but i'm not really interested in using my phone as a music player.. so i dont need all those extra features

It has an MP3 player but it's not a phone that is specifically marketed as a music phone. I have one and rarely use the MP3 player. A lot of phones now have the ability to play music but many just have them as extras, not key features. You might find this website useful: http://www.mobile-phones-uk.org.uk/ it has reviews/specifications of nearly every phone out there at the moment.

Ok I'm only 13 but I know alot of stuff. But a few days ago my friends were talking about getting a girls tubes tied so they couldn't get pregnant. This might sound extremely stupid but I want to know if this is true. Thanks!

Yes, it's true.

Tubal Ligation is a permanent form of female sterilisation and gets its name because the fallopian tubes are cut and squeezed together to prevent fertilisation. You can read more about it here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tubal_ligation.

Another form of female sterilisation is a Hysterectomy, which is where the uterus is surgically removed. You can read more about that here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hysterectomy.

I know this isn't really asking for advice, but the last few days I was just thinking about this and wondering why the people here joined.

I guess it is just out of pure curiosity. I would have just posted this in the moderator forum or in the supporter discussion, but I'd rather see why everyone joined rather than just those who have been here for some time and such.

So, why did you join advicenators and why are you still here? What about the site made you want to stay?

I'll probably be one of the first people to answer this (I'm not going to answer it in the question).

S_C

:]

I joined in June 2004, just over three years ago when I was 12, nearing 13 (sssh). I used to regularly visit a girl's website, it was one of those typical personal sites with graphics, blogs and 'reads' etc and there was also a link to her Advicenators column. I was bored so I signed up. My name was actually going to be 'rainbowcherries' but I accidentally missed off the 's', which is why my username is spelt wrong.

I thought I'd get bored pretty quickly but I started to really enjoy giving advice as well as getting it. I became a L1 moderator and it was my goal to be a L2. I rated and answered questions like crazy and got a good response from people who were surprised at the quality of my advice considering I was only 13. Exactly a year to the day after I first joined, I was made a L2.

I don't ask for alot of advice these days (save the odd computer problem) but I still love giving it and helping with the site. I've learnt a lot from the people at Advicenators, not just from being advised but through dealing with problems people have and learning skills I can use in 'real life'.

ok so im not sure whats wrong with me and i don't want to go to the doctior unless i have too.

yesterday i woke up feeling very nauseous and i have a fever of 103. My throat was also sore. All my energy was drained from me i could barly get out of bed and when i would get up my head would throb for at least 15 seconds. When I wake up i have all this flem and gross saliva all over my mouth. Today my fever went down and my head hurts a little less but my throat is killing me. It hurts so much when i swallow that i barly drink anything. I also noticed that theres this white gunk on my tonsils and it looks like behind them on my throat. my nose is also a bit stuffed up too.

I really need to get better i am in the middle of my pre-season of field hockey and i really cant miss anydays i also have work, i called in sick today but i cant do that anymore

thx in advance for your advice sorry it was so long

I am not qualified to diagnose you but you are showing symptoms of Tonsillitis or another throat infection, in which case you need to see a doctor.

The cause of it could be viral. If this is the case it should go away by itself within two weeks. However, there is a chance that this could be a bacterial infection, which needs to be treated with a course of prescribed antibiotics.

I know you don't want to see a doctor but in order to get better in the fastest possible time and to ensure you don't have anything more serious, you really should make an appointment.

how do you open up your pores? do i shower with hot water and wait a while?

i need to get rid of my blackheads (on my nose) but no facewash helps. i think its something im doing wrong. or else.. whatever im using on face, do i wait a while then wash it off? wait for it to absorb into my face?

now im resorting to picking at them..

Hot showers will open up your pores and is a great technique to use on a daily basis. However, every once in a while it is good to steam your face. This technique is not only good for removing blackheads but for detoxing the skin.

Pour some boiling water into a large bowel and with your face over it, place a towel over your head. You will need to do this for around 5-10 minutes. The steam will will feel slightly uncomfortable at first but if you take deep breaths, it can actually be very healthy and help to clear your lungs.

When you have steamed your face (or had a hot shower), gently pat dry your face. With clean hands (make sure you wash them first so as not to introduce any bacteria to your face), use the pads of your fingers to gently squeeze the blackheads. You may find it easier to wrap a piece of tissue around each finger you are using. If they don't come out easily then do not push it as you may exacerbate things. Just leave it and try again next time.

Blackhead strips can help but will not remove the hard to get ones. They can also leave your skin slightly sticky and dry.

Whatever you do, don't pick them. You could end up with scars and nasty red marks.

Iwas wondering what would be a good like nightly routine before I go to bed to wash my face and what products I should use? Like should I do an oil mask, the acne pads, then mositurizure (whoa spelling). That's just an example though. Thanks :)

15/f

The rule is cleanse, tone and moisturise.

Cleansing/toning can often be done using one product nowadays. Use a gentle make-up remover, cleansing wipes or face wash to remove make-up (if you wear it) or to just cleanse and remove the oil/grime on your skin if you don't. If you have sensitive skin, I suggest you use a specialised product. Most major brands now do versions of their products for sensitive skin. In some cases, skin can be too sensitive for even these products, in which case it is safest to use warm water and gentle soap.

Gently pat dry your skin, never rub as this can cause irritation and reddening. When your skin is dry, apply any specialist products you use (such as black head gel). If you are using a face mask (which should not be done more than two or three times a week), it should also be applied now. Try not to overload on the product, it will do more harm than good.

Apply a moisturiser. There are several different types on the market, depending on your skin type. As with cleansers/toners, there are types specially designed for sensitive skin. There are also oil free types for oily/greasy skin which is often prone to spots.

were the nazis racist or like is there a word for like religionist? b/c jewish isnt a race. so im confused.

Yes, the Nazis were racist.

'Racism is a belief or concept that inherent differences between people (such as those upon which the concept of race is based) determine cultural or individual achievement, and may involve the idea that one's own 'race' is superior.'

Racism is not restricted to different races. It also includes different cultures. For example, referring to gypsies/romanies as 'gyppos' is considered racist.

A Jew is not just a follower of Judaism, they can also be a member of the Jewish race, an ethnic group originating from the Middle East. This is why some Jews have certain physical characteristics such as dark hair and eyes etc.

You can find out more here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jews

In addition, the Nazis persecuted black people, homosexuals and the disabled. A word for this is prejudice, which means having a preconceived idea about a person/group of people without knowing them or looking at the facts. The Nazis had decided that these people were inferior without just cause.
