Many piercers will not go ahead with it if they think you are too thin or if you are going to grow more. If you get pierced then grow a fair amount then there is a chance that the piercing could grow out with you. If you are too thin then there is the possibility that there is simply not enough skin there to be pierced.
You might like to go and see your piercer before your appointment to talk about the procedure and check that you are suitable for it. The piercer will be able to answer any questions you may have and explain what will happen.
