chocolate phone
is the verizon chocolate phone mostly designed for people who want to listen to music on their phone? because i'm considering getting one but i'm not really interested in using my phone as a music player.. so i dont need all those extra features

I highly recommend NOT getting it. I had it and it gave me a TON of trouble, it's really not worth it. I would accidentally get logged onto the internet and my bill would be charged up, then my phone would randomly call people because of the touch sensitive buttons. It's really too much of a hastle.

You have to pay extra for Vcast (the music program on the phone) but if you don't want it, they can leave it out. My friend has the new chocolate and she loves it as a phone but barely listens to music on it.

It has an MP3 player but it's not a phone that is specifically marketed as a music phone. I have one and rarely use the MP3 player. A lot of phones now have the ability to play music but many just have them as extras, not key features.
