he called me by my friend's name 3 times yesterday at school. He had been flirting with my friend before this, a lot. both of them had. He is thinks leona lewis is fine and hott, and he told my friend, infront of my face, that she looked like leona lewis. It was the most uncomfortable thing ever because he is obsessed with leona. definitely. and you don't even have to tell him those reasons when you dump him. if he doesn't realize what he is doing, then that is his fault. if you don't even get to hang out with him, then it isn't worth putting up with this. he obviously doesn't know how to treat a girl so find someone who does.

On my car radio it says the name of the song and artist playing. i heard a really good song but it was ending when i looked and all i saw was "education". thats either the song or artist. It was like a really upbeat rock/ alternative song. Anyone know? (link)

Well, this may be a bit embarrassing, but here goes. I'm 17/f Lately I have had this weird feeling when I pee. It is similar to burning, but it's a bit sharper. It comes on right after I'm finished peeing and it feels like it goes all the way from my urethra up to behind my clitoris. Since this started, I have been feeling like I really need to pee more often than is normal, but when I go to the bathroom, not very much urine actually comes out.
I'm a virgin, so I know it's not an STD. I have been taking birth control pills though (for hormonal issues, not birth control.) for about the past month.
I know that you guys aren't doctors, but I was wondering if anyone has ever experienced this or has an idea of why it's happening and how I can treat it. Thank you so much. (link)

I got that once after I went skinny-dipping. If you've gone swimming or taken a bath lately, its just an infection. I didn't go to the doctor or anything, and after a few days it went away. So just stick it out and if it doesn't go away after a week, see a doctor because it could be more serious.

I've been on two pills. Levora was great until I hit over a year of use then I started to gain 20 pounds in water weight & had PMDD. So I switched to YAZ.. mood improved so much but I am still gaining the water weight.. if not MORE!
It lasts for over 2 weeks and then my stomach goes back to normal for less than a week. I can't afford to keep buying new clothes. I look like I'm pregnant. I am on the verge of going up another cup size. I am 5'1, D cup, 100-130+ pounds & only 17 years old.
Any suggestions? I'm sexually active so I would like to switch onto another pill. A friend suggested Depo

Working out & such doesn't do much because I can work hard to get my belly back.. til the week before my period and I gain it all back. I am just wanting some advice or something. I am 17 as well.
I have been taking a pill called Reclipsen for over a year and I haven't noticed any gain in water weight. You may want to look into it. However, it doesn't shorten or lighten my period at all.

hey well ican drive and i have a car but i dont have a lisence and i hate reading and i have to read the drivers handbook to pass a test on the computer....and did i mention i can drive really well..... well see the problem is i took the test 3 times already and i havnt passed now i hate reading but should i just read the handbook or is there an easier studying method....???? yes, there is an easier studying method. read all of the sample questions in the handbook, and if you dont know any of them, look them up in the handbook. 90% of the questions on the written test come from the sample questions in the handbook. thats what i did and i easily passed.

you can usually tell by the look in his eyes or on his face whether he's turned on or not. and if he's really turned on, his breathing will change. and try lightly rubbing his lower stomach, playing with his hair, or biting him lightly to turn him on

So yeah I'm like 15 and i'm a teenage girl who is having a really hard time with life and I think I should just kill myself. Nothing ever goes my own way. Guys never like me. People hate me in general I'm just an annoynce to everyone. I hate life. It never gets better it just changes and it still sucks after that. I'm sick of being depressed. Really I just want to lock myself in my room and cry then starve myself then die. I hate being a teenager its not like being a kidd its diff. I'm 15 and a sophomore girl. I am thinking of going to like a boarding school next year if my parents would let me. I hate my mom and i really want a new start in getting friends and stuff. My first question is is it worth it? I would miss my pets and some family and my friends. But I can't stand my mom and I want a new start- badly. I also want to try living on my own. And if you have been to boarding school how was it? Or if you know someone who went, how was it? My second question is what are some good ones? I live in PA, near philly. I dont really care where it is, even though, I'd prefer to be closer to home. I want a good school that looks good for colleges and has good kids. (link)

i've known this girl for about a month. i met her at a football game. she's really pretty and just all around great. great personality, etc...all the good stuff.
so last night, at another football game, i asked her out. we'd been talking over aim/facebook since we'd met and i really like her.
well after i asked her she thinks for a minute, then turns to me and says "i need to think about it". then i give her a hug because i had to leave.
well i got a message from her this morning after i got home from saturday varsity swim practice that said "i really really really like you but i don't really want a boyfriend right now...not saying i wont in a couple weeks or months but i dont want it to be awkward around us..." etc.
well we've been talking litterally like....all day. and so i think what i'm trying to ask is do i try again in a couple weeks or what? i don't really have much experience with girls...i've only ever had one girlfriend and so idk if i should try again later or if i should look for someone else...

When girls say "I don't want a boyfriend right now." its their way of saying "no" while trying to not hurt your feelings. I'd suggest that you stay friends with her. In a few weeks or months if she DOES want you as a boyfriend, wait for her to make the move, because she already knows you like her. So if she changes her mind and wants to be your girlfriend, she will probably be comfortable letting you know.

My english teacher gave us the most impossible assignment on the planet - we have to write 10 pages (no more, no less) on what the ministry of tourism would say if a island started exporting their "newly found" oil.. and the only info she's given us is that the main source of income for the country comes from the tourism and fishing scene. SO that gives me like a good 5 sentences where I write about how the oil pumps and such will lead to a decrease in tourism.. but how the heck do i fill 10 pages? Everyone in my class agrees that its stupid, we've talked to her and other teahcers about it but they say we HAVE TO do it. So should I just not do it? Or should I just fill out 10 pages by rambling about how ugly the island will look (cause i really cant think of anything else the ministry of tourism would say - like how else would eploiting the oil effect the tourism of a country?!?) Its so stupid! I hate her! :( (link)

You could say that exporting oil could lead to oil spills which would make an impact on the fishing scene.
You could also say that the money made from exporting oil could cause expansion and improvement of cities or town on the island, which might cause a population boom.
That's all I've got..yeah that is a really hard assignment but just ramble and stress every single point you make.

This may be long, and if it is I apologize in advance.
Three weeks ago we got a foreign exchange student, his name is Damon, and he's from Italy. (He's in my grade; I'm a junior) Normally foreign exchange students just fall into a certain group...like when we got a student from Spain, he just fell in with the Spanish speakers...but he's already extremly popular, and so many girls like him already. He's very good looking actually, and the sexy accent also adds to that. He's fair skinned, has black wavy hair that falls to his shoulders and dark green eyes.
Anyways, he's extraordinarily smart. He speaks Spanish, Italian, German, (Which I'm also fluent in)English, and French. He's in a lot of my AP classes and we were assigned to do a project together in my AP English class. It's a 10 page essay and we're supposed to work together.
So for the past week we've been meeting up after school and practice (He made Varsity soccer, and I'm a varsity cheerleader so we both have practice after school)at a cafe or some other place and we've been working together on this project we have. A few days ago when we were working he said "I think we've worked enough today, why don't we get to know eachother a little better" and I said okay. So we talked and I actually got to know him a lot better, there were some things he wouldn't talk about...like his family, but I learned we have the same taste in books and in music and he really is a great guy.
What I really like about him though is that he's a great listener and more mature than guys his age. He actually pays atention to me when I talk and looks at my eyes, not my... Anyway, he's so nice to me. He hugs me when he sees me in the halls and calls me beautiful and he's taken to calling me "principessa" which obviously means princess in English. We've also started to hang out when we're not working on the project. Sometimes he speaks to me in Italian, which I understand some, but I'm nowhere near fluent so I always say I don't understand. He just siles and says "Well I guess we're going to have to fix that aren't we?" And he has been teaching me some.
Here's the problem:
I can't tell if he likes me. If he was American then I'd say yah...but people tell me that's just the way Italian guys act? I have a bunch of girls telling me that what he's doing means nothing and that he's just a player, and that's just how Italian boys act around girls; they're just bg flirts... So now I'm all confused, and I don't know what to believe. I don't know if I want to get invlolved with a guy who may not even be in the staes a year from now...
Today my ex-boyfriend Theron came up to me and started harrasing me about Damon and then, poof, Damon shows up out of nowhere and all of a sudden there fighting. (Not phsically, but it probably would have gone there if I hadn't stopped them) Damons defending me because Theron's saying some pretty hurtful stuff...
After the mess of a fight Damon could tell I was upset so he asked me if I wanted to go to the movies, and I said yes. Afterward he drove me home and walked me to my door and he hugged me and then pulled away. I thought he was going to kiss me for a second, but them he just leaned down and kissed me on my forehead and said goodnight. Now I'm even more confused, because if he's playing a game then he's really good at it and now I like him more then ever...I don't know what to do anymore.

I spend a month in Europe every month, so I know a lot about European guys, and they are always very gentlemanly and flirtacious. But he wouldn't ask you to the movies and kiss you on the forehead if he wasn't interested in you. Usually European guys just want to be gentlemen, so unlike American boys, they don't try and hook up with you on the first date. So I think he is trying to charm you. I don't think you even have to make a move or anything, he seems really confident and into you so just wait and if he wants a relationship with you, or anything, he will make a move.
Butttt my school has a lot of exchange students, and sometimes they just want to hook up with as many girls as possible. He seems sweet, though, so I doubt he just wants to get in your pants.

around thursday (september 20) i noticed that my heart kind of "fluttered". like it's bubbling or something for a few seconds. i don't know what's going on with it either. then today (september 24) it did it a lot. i mean, at least every hour. i don't know what it is and I DON'T want to go to the doctor for it.
my dad, who is on the not so 'intelligent isde', told me that it could be from anxiety.
i'm confused and i don't know what it is. can anyone help me?

It could be a heart murmur. My friend has a heart murmur and she says that sometimes her heart flutters for like a second. Its really easy to get checked for a heart murmur, and they're pretty common, so its nothing to worry about, but you should still check

um ok in school there was this kid and hes like " i shadi this" and "I shadi that!" and sometimes my sis says it.. but i dont get it. what the hell does it mean? like she'll be like "I shadi not washing the dishes" or something.. what does that mean??? maybe im not spelling it right but its said the way i spelt it. like.. Well make sure that when you compliment her, that its something really sincere. If you say "You look good today" or "Your hair looks nice today" its not going to sound sincere and she'll probably just forget you said it. So say something that you REALLY notice, don't compliment her just to compliment her, and she will remember it and probably look at you in a different light.
And I wouldn't ask her questions that are too specific..but ask her how her weekend was or what's new with her so that you get a better answer than "good" and you can actually get to talking. But if you ask her random questions that come out of nowhere, she might be a little creeped out. Just act interested in her, be interesting, and be easy to talk to

im curious because there is a study going on trying to prove that milk is linked to bad acne.
