Reading is an important part of driving, given the roadsigns, maps, paperwork for your car, tickets, highway information, etc. If you have a problem with it, maybe you should reevaluate wanting to drive at this point in your life...the written test is the easiest element of driving. I hope it won't take a bad experience for you to realize the seriousness of driving, and that there's a whole lot more than thinking you "drive really well"...

Oh yeah, advice. Take driver's ed. A monkey could pass the test after it. Not only that, driver's ed is soo, so important. Would you feel comfortable driving on the road knowing there were others on it without enough knowledge to pass an elementary driving test? I don't think so. And reading the handbook is not usually necessary...actually in your case, it could help.

You have to read the handbook. It doesn't matter how well you drive, but how well you know the rules. The reason the handbook was written was to make driving safe. The driver's handbook doesn't tell you HOW to drive, it tells you what you can and cannot do. Read it, because if you don't, you probably won't pass the test.

yes, there is an easier studying method. read all of the sample questions in the handbook, and if you dont know any of them, look them up in the handbook. 90% of the questions on the written test come from the sample questions in the handbook. thats what i did and i easily passed.

Sorry. You have to read the handbook.
Being a great driver is knowing ALL traffic laws, and knowing what to do in certain events.
Being a great driver is reading and studying your driver's handbook even if you don't want to.
