Ok, My computer was running super-slow and so I went and checked my "Add or Remove" Programs and I had a list full of this Security Update Crap. I was so pissed and now when I try to remove it it gives me a list of stuff that has to be deleted with it. Any Information/Ideas? (link)

You really shouldn't delete your windows updates.
They help protect your computer from hackers and whatever other vermin that may want access to your computer.
You should go to windows update and have them put back on. Then you should manually check for updates once a week to be safe.
If your computer is running slow you might try running a disc clean-up and defrag your computer.
I also run space odyssey 2.0, ad-aware and crap cleaner on mine to get rid of all those bits and pieces that remain after everything you do. It helps speed it up. I have never had a problem with either product and they are free.
Maybe someone more computer savvy would have better info for you. Dangernerd would be a good person to ask. :)

hi well i am a swimmer and my best friends went overseas for the holidayz and when i go to the pool for swimming training i sit by my self and my dad always wants to take me early so i wont be late and i take my time getting everything ready and it makes him angry and i dont like it but i do it so the other kids will be in the water already and i can just get changed and jump in wit everyone else but i dont like sitting alone all the time and the thing is i dont get along with some of the other kids because they talk about me behind my back and spread rumours around about me.thats why i dont sit with them and my coach is encouraging me to go and sit with them so i have someone to be with but it bothers me because i know they dont like me so why go and sit with people i dont like.please help me i dont know what to do because everytme i try to make friends it all ends up in a fight.please help me. Maybe you should try sitting with them a couple of times. They may be a little mean because they may think you don't like them. BECAUSE you never sit with them.
A lot of kids tease and make fun of those people they really don't know very well. Your other friends will be back before long, until they are just give sitting with the others a try.
You never know, you might make brand new friends. :)

Hey everyone. Just a heads up, this might be somewhat long! Ok, well me and my ex-boyfriend (first love) started going out on 10/12/04. Well, on 8/11/05 he broke up with me. Didn't give me reasons, out of the blue, and i said w/e and went on with my life. I had feeligns for him still and we stopeed talking. He went out with this girl named Linden, i got mad and went with a boy named Tyler, and both couples broke up in about a month. Well, near the end of October, me and my ex-boyfriend started getting cool again and we became more of friends with benefits. Suddenly, my 1st friend decided to stab me in the back and go and flirt with him and make out with him in my face, so me and my ex stopped talking again. Well, then we started talking again around the end of December and go real good again, friends with benefits and all that stuff, then a second friend did the same thing pretty much the first one did. Now shes telling me, he never liked me, he wants to get with her, and we broke upa while ago so get over him, and yea... so now i dont talk 2 her and my ex is mad at me for not talking to her. Well, i guess my question is, what should i say to him or how should i handle this situation? it really is none of his business, but i still have strong feelings for him. The second question i have is that I get mad when he flirts with other girls, and he gets mad at me when i flirt with other guys. So, that means he still has feelings for me to right?!? The girls aren't good friends.
You need to talk to your ex. He needs to either start dating you again or forget the benefits.
He will not date you exclusively if he gets plenty of benefits for nothing. As it stands right now he is free (and so are you) to go out with any other girl he wants. If he doesn't want to be exclusive, then don't give him the benefits that go along with an exclusive relationship.
He may get mad only because if you get yourself a new guy he is out benefits. Sorry to harp on it but the friends with benefits thing causes so many problems.
You have to make him talk to you about what he is really feeling for you. You may just have to tell him if he won't talk to you then its over. He will either share or be alone.
I hope you can get him to talk and that it all works out in your favor. :)

briefly..i teach a paramedic program in the middle east. final exams were written for presentation to students. there was/is a direct insinuation the students had been coached or even had axcess to these final exams.professional jelousies perhaps...??? i wrote a second exam when requested by a so called examination committee.....lesser quality but comprehensive. NO STUDENT WAS EVER BEEN COACHED OR HAD ANY POSSIBLE WAY OF KNOWING WHAT WOULD BE ON THE EXAM.....either exam...!! the examination comittee was apparently tasked to prepare yet another exam ....3rd..independent of my input. none of the individuals tasked has any experience in teaching the subject matter or infact lectured any of my students in the 16week semester. i protested vigorously to this most insuling and offensive method of vetting my students. it would appear the students received this particular test and voiced concerns they had difficulty in understanding the context of the questions presented.??? i have never in a career of 25years teaching paramedics been subjected to this type of behavior from a collegiate staff. i might add 10 previous students...all taught by me....INDEPEDENT OF ME...tested at outside institutions..have all been successful in "writing and passing" 4 international certifications courses in their chosen disciplines....again....independent testing...!!!..and in the top percentile....!! i'm at a loss as to how to respond to this most insulting behaviour and would welcome a "calm intelligent response" to this...so called committee.. so this dispicable occurance is never repeated in the future!!! after the results are shown....i anticipate reasonably good results irrespective of what exams the students wrote... to vindicate me...!! but i am left with a very bitter taste...!! perhaps when proven there wrong i should resign.??? sadly in this middle east enviorn i have no legal recourse, but will leave with my head held high and my integrity in tact. i really could use some solid advise on how to handle this outrage. needless to say...i'm really annoyed. it's been difficult relaying the entirety and scope of this crude and unjustified action but i trust the jist of the problen has been conveyed. thanks...looking forward to a reply soonest.

Unless you are wanting to resign I don't know that you should.
Have you pointed out those who have passed taking the test elsewhere? If not I certainly would. Do they treat exams for other subjects the same way?
My suggestion, should you decide to stay, would be to suggest to your students that they take your class, and then take the exam at an outside institution instead of through the college. IF that will get them their certification.
Out of curiosity, Is it only the written part of the exam they give you trouble with? I assume ( I am a lowly EMT!) that they are also tested on the field applications as well?
Point out those who have passed elsewhere. I think the point here is that they are learning something in the class. If they want to keep a test under lock and key until the day its given, then tell them to do it. It seems they are being unnecessarily picky. If you have no real love for that college, look for a job someplace where you will be appreciated. I'm sure you will have no problem finding something.

at least once a month, I get migraine(sp?) headaches. I dont know what causes them, but I cant take any medication for them because I dont like swallowing pills. I have never done it in my life and whenever I try i feel as if I am choking and almost throw up. Are there any migraine medications I can take where I dont have to swallow a pill? If not, is there any way I can get myself to swallow a pill without vomiting? thanks ♥ (link)

First like Razhie mentioned, DO NOT in any way break up or crush a pill unless your doctor or pharmacist says it is okay to do so. The reason being that some meds are time released, meaning they dissolve slow and give you a small dose at a time. If you break up one of those pills you could accidentally overdose or get really sick. I don't mean to repeat but, some things can't be said often enough.
You don't mention if your med is a prescription or over the counter medication. If it is a prescription ask the pharmacist if they have a liquid version available. Many times when you reach a certain age, your doctor will think you are old enough for pills. However, there are many adults who have a problem swallowing some of the horse pills they come up with.
If you have to take it in pill form, you got some great suggestions already, so I will leave it at that. :)

i'm 15 years old & i haven't gotten my period for about two months. i've been having it since september 2004 & it's been sort of normal for about 8 months. i'm a virgin & i know this is going to sound extrememly juvenile but is there some way that i could be pregnant without having sex? as i said, i don't mean to sound juvenile but i've heard people say things like, "it's in the water" & is it actually possible? i'm just really nervous, & i'm racking my brain for an answer. could it just be that my period isn't on time? i haven't really been eating any differently. please don't treat me like an idiot, i'm just scared. No, there's no way to get pregnant without sperm entering the vagina.
That saying that there must be something in the water is just that. It is used when there are a lot of pregnancies in one area for some reason (military men coming home, major snow storms is usually actual reason!). It is said as a joke.
Teens can not have their period for many reasons.
Stress, increase in exercise, playing sports, Or, maybe you are having a growth spurt of some kind. If it doesn't come back soon, say something to your mom and maybe get a check up. It will good for your piece of mind.
I can tell you that you are definitely NOT pregnant. You are also not an idiot. Hope your fears are gone. Nothing to worry about there! :)

I have a wonderful place for you.
It is called Garden of Remembrance. It has a nice poem on it BUT the best thing is you can go on it and leave messages in honor of your loved ones. I do it every memorial day.

So i'm a 14/f and (i live in a very weathy area,but am not rich)i have a disability called Cerebral Plasy, it effects the way i walk and is VERY noticeable.At school i am not popular ( not that that is very important) and people look down on me because of my disability. What they dont understand is that i am just like them: i am a girl who can talk and be fun and loves music and shopping and girly(ish)thing> what they dont understand is that i am just LIKE THEM. I am not saying i want to be a clone of them or anything, i just wish that they wouldnt judge me for my disability instead of getting to know me because i am JUST LIKE THEM (but not a judgeing bi***).
It is the same way with boys too. The problem is i was trained to be shy because i know they judge me, but i am not shy with friends of family.

It may be that your shyness keeps them away more than your CP.
They may be unsure how to approach you. Sometimes a shy person is mistaken for being stuck up.
Try to talk to them more. Start with a hi and work your way up to having a longer conversation.
If they are truly shunning you because of your CP, rest assured that people do grow out of that kind of childish behavior.

120 is the perfect weight for your age and height. Keep it there and you are doing great. I really don't think its necessary to lose 10 pounds. :)

I have dial up and it took forever to download anything. I am talking many hours.
It also pretty much made it impossible to do anything else while it was running.
I removed it because it just wasn't worth the trouble to me.
If you aren't on dial up it may be a better experience. :)

If he says he wants to be just friends then that's what you will have to do.
That doesn't mean you can't still talk to him or IM him after he moves. Keep in touch.
If he moves far away from you, you won't have much time together anyway. You are young though and things may change when you get a little older. So stay friends and take this time to get to know him even better. :)

Guys are horn-dogs. All I have met are anyway.
Some girls but not all are real bitches when they are having their periods.
And teens are full of raging hormones. No doubt about that.
The others and those like them are not true. I don't know why people do that. I guess they always have. Used to be if you had long hair and listened to rock music..oh man you were evil!

Those who don't go to college usually just get a job and get on with life.
Not every job requires a college education. They may not be the highest paying jobs but there are some.
Others go to a technical school and learn to do something they are interested in.
Some get married.
Good luck, you have a while to think about it.
By the way, you can go to college without knowing what exactly you want to do. Not everyone goes with a specific goal in mind. :)
