sorry it's kinda long but I wanna know...
ok well it's be about 8 months since I've gotten my period and for the first 4 months is was coming aroud the 20th and then it didn't and it came aroud the 13th and then for about 3 more months it was around the 13th well in Januaray is come on the 13th and now it's the 17th and I don't get why it hasn't come and I'm like scared that I'm messed up or not normal considering this is the 2nd time this has happend. Can someone please tell me what's happening if it's normal or not. Thanks, will rate too. (link)

Actually, those who have regular periods coming right on time are rare.
At your age you will skip and sometimes not even have one at all. Its got a lot to do with your hormones and growing. They will get a little more regular as you get older...but not a lot.
Don't worry about it unless you are sexually active. You are normal. :)

well i know the siptums of gonneriea( sorry if i spelt it rong) and its burned like 3 times while i was going to the bathroom. and my urine smells really strong. could this be gonneria? i know this question sounds nasty but im really scared.

I can't say for certain you don't have gonorrhea.
It could be just a UTI. Same kind of symptoms.
A doctors visit will be necessary regardless. Urinary tract infections (UTI), are very common in young ladies though. They can be caused by many things so no need to be afraid to say something to your mom about it.

From now on when some asks you where she is, or anything else about her just tell them, " Do I look like her secretary to you?" and walk off. They should get the hint sooner or later.

I met this guy 2 years ago while we both we legally separated.I was not the other woman.I just had my divorce finalized but he is still ongoing.A lot of nasty custody and money issues on his side.We both had a separate apartments.We met and fall in love.Everytime my boyfriend faces a problem, he will withdraw and break up with me. He has problem having access to his children and was deppressed for not being able to see them for a period of 5 months strecth.His wife use the kids as pawns.We broke up everytime because of this.He will then come back again when he thinks he has sort out the issues. His wife met me and him while in the restaurant and eversince that, she has given him unlimited access to the kids. He is so overwhelmed with this new arrangement and now he said that he can't do both.Having a relationship and his kids in the picture.He broke up with me again. I know he is confused.This man was married for 15 years since the age of 22. He misses the family life but he don't love the wife anymore.Both had an affair and he left the marriage.I am deeply in love with this man and everytime he comes back, i will never give him a hard time cause i know how much his kids meant to him.I am disappointed with his decisions. He told me that he is going away with the kids and the wife for a holiday which is something he has not done so for the past 3 years.He wants to be close with the kids again. I am so heartbroken right now as i don't know if he will go back to his wife after being separated for 2 and half years. His wife wanted him back badly and she is trying so hard to have him back in his life. I am stuck.I really love this man but i'm torn as well because i really believe of the vows we make in marriage but my guts tell me that he is not going back with her. Too many resentments from the divorce proceedings and multiple affairs from both sides.Please help me.I keep thinking there is hope that he will come back again once he smooth this one out again.I can't quit thinking about this and i really believes i can be happy with this man. You want an honest answer? Step out of the situation and don't look back.
I know it would be difficult for you to do. I know you love him and maybe he has said he loves you. But he is always going to be dealing with an ex who wants him back. After 22 years you can bet she knows how to work him. He may not live in the same house but she will have him.
I can see him taking the kids on a holiday...but her too? Come on, he is using you. Divorced men do not take their ex on trips, kids or no kids.
You are going to get nothing but hurt in this relationship. You don't deserve that. Stop wasting your life on this guy. You will wake up after a few years of this nonsense and wonder where all the good years went. Go find a good man who treats you with respect.
I hate to dash your hopes but I just don't see any in this relationship of yours.

It would be a very boring life if we were happy ALL the time or any other mood all the time.
If you weren't sad once in awhile how would you even KNOW what happy felt like?

I don't think anyone will really know the answer to this, but it's worth a shot.
Forrest Gump is one of my favorite movies of all time. *stop reading if you don't want any spoilers, but considering it's 12 years old I think I'm on the safe side* Anyway... at the end Jenny dies, presumably of AIDS. It seems like the symptoms point to it. That said, wouldn't that mean that Forrest and Forrest Jr. end up dying? The end does not imply that at all but that's the only thing that makes any sense. If she had AIDS and then gave birth, she passed it onto Junior. Having sex with Forrest to conceive Junior would have passed it on as well.

It says in the book that it was AIDs. The movie kind of leaves it up to you to assume.
It never really says when she got it. May have been after she had little Forrest. I have wondered too, but...its a movie. Good question. :)

Theres a girl at my school i think may have an eating disorder of some kind. Within the last few days she seems to have lost A LOT of weight. She used to be fairly skinny, but now shes like tiny. And this may sound a little odd, but she did have some, i guess you'd say definition, to her body, and now its all like flat. I'm not friends with her, actually, I don't really talk to her, but it concerns me a little. It could be something else, i know, but i was wondering if i should say something to someone about it, or just mind my own business and let her take care of herself. (link)

Dancincutie is right to a certain extent. It could be an illness or a medication side-effect.
I think I would bring it to the attention of the school nurse or guidance counselor though. It couldn't hurt for someone to keep an eye on her. :)

I think it is mostly a matter of heredity. Look at how you female relatives are built. You will probably be real close to the same.

A couple of things are illegal and I don't endorse them at all. However, I don't think any of them are sins.
Keep in mind that I am not into organized religion and all churches have differing opinions. Since there are so many differing opinions, I personally form my own. :)

okay this is probably really gross & long but i really need help. well see, lately i've got into this habit of masturbating. (yes, im a girl and i finger myself and this is EXTREMELY embarassing to talk about.) but anyways, i did it for about 4 days in a row everynight. but i dont do it for long at all. maybe like 10 minutes? and sometimes i do it kind of hard cause well hey, it feels good. x: but anyways, i was supposed to get my period on friday but i didnt so i figured it was gonna come late. well anyways, then on saturday i masturbated and then again on sunday. but on sunday, i masturbated a little longer than usual and i was more into it. but then afterwards i went to the bathroom and i was bleeding. so i figured i had gotten my period. but i only bled for like 5 minutes & then it stopped, and hasnt come back, and its now wednesday. i dont think it was my cherry that popped because my boyfriend has fingered me before and we have had sex (only once though). im afraid something happened & caused my period to mess up because of me masturbating? i don't know but i am really afraid and embarrassed to tell anyone, especially my mother or something. does anybody know what could be going on? thanks so much, i'll rate high. I suppose it is possible you scratched yourself somehow. I don't think it is anything to worry about though.
Masturbating will NOT affect your period in any way at all. As a matter of fact, if you suffer cramps...orgasms will actually help. :)
If you are a teen, your period may be held up by any number of things. Masturbating isn't one of them though. You can skip a month now and then without any ill effects at all. :)

Yester day was the first time i talked to her very brifly, but today I talked to the girl and asked her what her name was and i actually complimented her on her pants and she said thanks. I doubt she is playing games. She may just not know what you are up to!
Next time you see her, ask for her number and then call her. You can give her your number later. You make the first move.
If she talked to you she might like you. You will know for sure if she gives you her number.

My son is going through a difficult period. my husband and I split up in july and my son who is 19 and in college met up with a girl who has a boyfriend and is engaged my son is not in school and says hes returning in summer but I'm afraid hes not going back and she is ruining his life she wont leave her borfriend will he go back to school (link)

Unfortunately those who quit don't usually go back. Especially if they don't have a career goal they are really driven to do.
I would suggest if he doesn't want to go to school at this time, not to allow him to sit and live off your dime. Tell him if he isn't going to school he needs a full time job.
It will help him be responsible for himself, as well as keep him from spending 24 hrs a day dwelling on a girl he probably isn't going to get.
A lot of kids a lot younger than him go through their parents divorcing. Don't allow feelings of guilt over that allow you to coddle him. He is 19 and needs to become responsible. I have known people who have let that happen. Believe me it is a lot harder down the road if you let him wait until he's "ready". :)

Well, they would certainly cause friends and family to worry about them. So I guess they would cause anxiety & fear.
Their younger siblings and friends might think it okay to do and follow suit.
Then if they didn't get help and should die of the condition it would cause sadness & others would probably blame themselves. Especially if they had no clue it was happening. :)

I work in a large superstore in the clothing department. There are 8 ladies including myself in this department. I get along with everyone but have noticed in the last several weeks there has been a lot of backstabbing behind the scenes. One lady got a promotion and now some of them are jealous. Another lady is always complaining and very negative, and another one is angry because her hours have been cut. How can I stay positive when this is going on? It's very stressful. 17/f. My boyfriend and I are very close and have a very loving, trusting relationship. We don't argue at all, he's not pushy in any way. Sometimes we joke around with eachother playfully, just saying sarcastic things, like the other day he came over when I was just getting out of the shower and was standing at the bottom of the steps playfully saying things like "Come on" "hurry up" "put some clothes on so I can see you," just jokingly telling me to hurry up. Well my mom picked up on that and didn't understand the joking tone, and now she's somehow thinking that he's being controlling or obsessive. I tried to set her straight, but I'm not sure that she gets it. I know that she's kind of looking out for me, because I've been in a controlling relationship before, but this one is /not/ like that in any way and I want her to understand that. She didn't want me to mention any of our discussion to him because she's afraid that he'll take it the wrong way or think that she hates him, and she doesn't. She's not terribly concerned and she likes him, but I just want a way to let her have no doubt in her mind that he's not controlling. Any suggestions? Thanks. (link)

My absolute best friend in the world.. will not stop talking about killing herself. how early on can you tell if your pregnant..
&& what is the chance of getting preg on birth control. I Didnt take it how they told me to && I missed it a fiew times. I didnt know i was taking it wrong but someone told me today sense I didnt take it the right way it wont work fully.

The birth control pill is 99.9% effective, IF you take it as directed. If you don't then of course the % goes down. You could get pregnant.
If you a pregnant, the first sign is usually a missed period.
