girlfriends do not have duties unless you call hanging out and having fun with someone that you like to be with. we do not live in the caveman days where men hunt and women cook.

Ok, well it depends how long you have been going out:

1 day- 3 months;
-You should approach him more than he approaches you
-You should not call him CONSTANTLY.. wait for him to call you. I read once that it's tacky to call a boy because then you have to keep up the conversation. If you do decide to call him call him no more than once every other day
-Invite him to go places

3 months- 6 months
-Call him, be there for him when he needs someone, go to any of his sports games, competitions, and maybe a few of his practices, keep track of the info you know about him (THE SPECIFICS-- favorite food, song, color, season, whatever he tells you)

6 months +
-It should be pretty easy from then on.

a girlfriend should always be there for her man, whenever hes feeling upset she should always try to cheer him up..

i also feel like she should always try to make him feel good about himself, ie: saying he looks good today, and what not..

she should also be fun to be around ..

hope i helped

I don't know that I would call it duties. :)

A girlfriend should be a friend and companion. She should be loyal and trustworthy.

So should a boyfriend. :)
