Not at all. It's oral sex. Anal sex is when a penis or sex toy is inserted into the anus, or butt. Oral is when one partner uses his or her mouth to sexually stimulate the other partner's genital area. They are completely different.

I used to always masturbate. quite alot. but then about 2 weeks ago i read something that said that masturbating is a sin. well ever since i read that i havent masturbated, i actually gave in yesterday but then i felt reallllly guilty afterwards. is this bad because i mean will it mean i'll never be able to enjoy masturbating? is this normal and will i ever get over it? please help. i rate 5's!

It's not a sin. It's very good for your physical and emotional health. The thing about the Bible is that it's been around for so long, a lot of people were able to add stuff to it. A group of fundamentalists put the masturbation thing in there because they were...well, they were kinda jerks. Actually, I read something about the first WASP settlers in America who as you know were very religious. There weren't that many of them, you see, and they were afraid that when men masturbated it would waste seed that was needed to impregnate the women and boost the population. They, bless their little ignorant souls, didn't know that sperm is pretty much mass produced and you can't run out of it. Their reasons for telling women not to masturbate were basically to keep us subservient to the men. Since everybody was so religious, they figured the best way to do this would be to say that God forbade it.

It depends on what kind of hair you have, what your personal preference is, and what it says to do on any products that you're using. For instance, you might have curling gel that says "Let dry." but another time you might use Thermasilk conditioner, which requires the blow dryer.

Depends on what you're using. If you're using something like Picture It, you can just select "highlight the text". If you're using MS Paint, which contrary to popular belief is NOT crappy, you can zoom in really close and select pencil. Then outline the letters. This is easier than it sounds, though a bit time consuming if you have a lot of text.

It's asked about five hundred times a day. No worries, though. The truth is that there is no good way to lose weight fast, it takes a long time if you want to keep it off. Drink a LOT of water and use your treadmill every day. Cut back on bread, pop-tarts, crackers, sugary things, pasta, etc. for a few days. You will easily lose the weight but if you go back to your regular way of eating you will gain it back.

One of my close male friends and I email each other. We are just friends, but he sent me an email that made me think that he may like me more. Well I told him in an email that I got 8 inches cut off my hair, and that is was really short now.

I don't think so. I talk that way to my friends all the time, and a lot of other people do that too. I wouldn't get too worked up over it, it's just friendly flirting.

simple question, long story behind it, but i want to know, what do girls want in guys?

It changes from girl to girl. I personally have very specific requirements, plus fifty or so optional extras. That sounds kinda silly, like I'm talking about a computer or a house or something. But a girl is allowed to dream, right?

But there IS a basic list of essentials that pretty much every girl (presuming she likes males) agrees on:

-He cannot cheat on her.
-He cannot be a rapist.
-He cannot act like he doesn't care.
-He should tell her that she is the most attractive woman in the universe, and be sincere, even when she looks like shit.

And that's basically it. If I went into anything else it would pretty much be personal preference. But those are the top four things for (almost) every girl.

okay. like. i guess you could say im skinny. or normal. but in my opioionn im fat. i always pinch my stomech or w.e and its gross. i have thoughts about being annerexic or belimic. and i dont want to be annerexic cause like i love to eat. and if i could like perge or w.e i sware id be belmic in a heartbeat. and its like i cant stay on a diet im tempted too easily and i exsersize but i mean im sick of the fat on my stomech and i dont do any sports. what can i do. i know my thoughts arnt "healthy" and i want to change it. but the fat on my stomech has GOT TO GO.

The little bit of fat on your stomach is not only normal but needed to survive. It is your stored energy. If there was an emergency and you couldn't get to any food, your body would burn that fat to keep you alive. Only people with ridiculously high standards would ever think you were ugly or gross because of it. I'm not sure how old you are, but I think you're a teenager. ALL TEENS HATE THE WAY THEY LOOK. It is just a fact of life. But don't worry. Nobody else is noticing the fat on your stomach. They are too busy wishing they had legs like yours, or something like that. You can cut back on sugary snacks, and that will help make you healthy. But believe me, that bit of fat is not a big deal. Bulimia, however...well let's put it this way, when you throw up the acid will destroy layers of mucus that you need on your espohagus. Your teeth will become yellow, your fingernails gray, and you will always have bad breath. Then people probably will think you look gross, and you will. It's good that you know it isn't healthy. Anyway, you don't have to do sports to exercise. Try lifting weights or walking everyday, and stretching.

My 15-year-old niece is having a birthday soonish and I'd like to get her a present. She likes reading so I figured a book would be good. What's a book that is of literary quality that a 15-year-old would like, but does not contain any sex or swear words (her mom wouldn't let her read it then)? for girls- when ever i get my period i am fine during the day - my pads NEVER leak. however, when i go to bed, they very often do. it seems as though the pad just doesn't protect the back of my underwear for some reason...but only when i lie down! how can i prvent this...i have the kind of pads with wings, so i can't put it much farther back, can i? i know there are longer pads made, but is there anything i can do to prevent leaks for now with the pads i have? (i have tampons too, but isn't sleeping with them in too long of a itme period to keep the same one in?) anyways, what can i do? thanks!

If you put a tampon in right before you go to bed and take it out right when you wake up you should be fine, however it is still risky. You might oversleep. I used to have the same problem, when I had periods (I don't anymore because of personal reasons, so please don't ask), and I would just have to wash the blankets and sheets all the time. The only thing that worked was wearing the longer pads, unfortunately.

I put this in spirituality even though it doesn't really fit...

When I was a young teen I was very active in my church and school. I was in the choir, I helped to organize the children's liturgy, and I took part in the discussions and events that our Catechist organized all the time.

When I was seventeen I feel in love with another girl. For a few months we kept our relationship secret, but eventually it had to come out and my church pretty much ostracized me and told me in no uncertain terms that my help was no longer needed. My relationship with that girl lasted for two years and we are still very close friends. What happened with my church makes me very sad, but I don't regret my choices. I am a bi-sexual woman and I'm not ashamed of it.

The problem is now I am dating a guy and have been for a while. Old friends from the church are suddenly talking to me and being all nice and welcoming again. It's breaking my heart because I know if this relationship ends and I meet a woman I want to date I'll be kicked out again just as quickly. They keep inviting me out to dinner or to mass, (I have kept going over the years but I'm basically ignored by everyone.) Part of me wants desperately to be accepted and loved by these people again, the other part of me is just furious with the way they treated me and the pressure they are putting on me now to conform. Should I just accept this while it lasts or should I maybe say something to these people?

Personally, I think they're hypocrites. Cruel hypocrites. They have absolutely no right to treat you that way. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I thought the point of Church was to provide a place where everyone belonged. Not one person cared enough to even speak to you during those two years. If they can forget what a great person you are and how involved you were because of such a minor thing, then they are not worth it. You shouldn't accept it, because that would be letting them walk all over you. But I don't think you should just leave, either. I think you should tell them how they made you feel. I know it's something we learned in preschool, to tell people when they hurt your feelings, but it does apply when you're older. A lot of people forget that. Try to educate them on homosexuality and religion--the two don't have to conflict with each other!! If it doesn't work, then you really don't need these people as friends.

okay well this might seem weird to some people..but i like my little brothers (younger by 2 years) best friend. his best friend is hot, sweet, smart, GORGEOUS...all that..but i think it might be a little weird. i mean were friends and all but the thing is i dont think anything would happen since we're a different age! first of all : do you think it is weird? 8th & 6th grade. It's a little weird, yeah. Maybe if you were both older it wouldn't matter, but I think you are both too young to get involved with a relationship. Especially him. I find myself saying this over and over, but it's still true--girls mature faster than boys. You are a young woman, and even boys at your own age are still little boys. There is nothing wrong with having a crush on this boy, but as for anything serious, I would wait a couple of years.

Personally I would hate to get a secret admirer's present.

I wouldn't know who did it. The confusion would drive me CRAZY.
