I smoke pot about two or three times a week.
I get really stressed out over my life and sometimes need something to relax. What I like about weed is that it slows down time so that it feels like I've been chilling out with my friends for much longer than I have been. I feel relaxed and okay...and I need to feel like that sometimes to cope with the drama with my friends. Self-medication. I have straight A's in school. I work 30 hours a week. I'm in several AP classes. And I work pot into my schedule because it helps me deal with it all.
I'd say smoke it. You're probably not going to get high your first time. You might not even like it. But really, as long as you're responsible with your use (eg: don't drive, don't use it too much, don't use it where you'll get caught) then there's basically no reason why you should hold back. If you want to, go for it. MODERATION is the key--the danger with pot isn't becoming addicted, it's becoming content. Some stress is healthy. Make sure you keep yourself active and motivated and have friends that you do more than smoke with. But, honestly, it will help you relax. And if you want to try it, do it. It'll keep you from binging on crack one day. :-P

You don't.
Seriously, everyone likes something different when they kiss. The best way to know if you're a good kisser or not is to ask the person you're with how they like to be kissed and try to mimic that when you're making out.
If you can't ask them, however, generically just try not to be too wet with your mouth and when in doubt, cut back on the tongue. Biting is a no unless they do it first or you know them well. And the most important thing is just to relax when you're doing it and keep thinking about the person you're with. Kissing isn't hard; just don't worry about being "good" at it and you'll be fine.

There are three commonly accepted definitions for "gay."
The "correct" definition is happy. The word gay used to be used just to imply this. If you're reading a book written before the 1960-1970s, generally gay will mean happy.
Gay also means homosexual, as in a person attracted to members of their own gender. It came into circulation as a slang term when homosexuality had to be kept very low-key. It's become a wildly accepted label for alternative sexual orientation.
Finally, gay is used in common slang to mean stupid. Many people (homosexual and not) find this offensive (and I agree with them). Saying "that's so gay" or related things implies that there's something wrong with homosexuality. Taken in context, "that's so black" or "that's so mexican" are incredibly offensive. Using gay to mean stupid is bigoted in the same way...but is somehow more socially acceptable (just like discrimination against gays is more accepted than racial discrimination).

Quick Ideas:
Zip-Tie the freshmen lockers shut. They did this at our school and it was great.
Release a greased pig into the school. Or, short of that, try catching a few birds and releasing them to fly around for a while.
Steal all the trashcans. If you return them the next day, I doubt you'd get in trouble for vandalism.
Empty cans of marbles in the hallways.

Yes. Your husband can come inside of you during pregnancy without affecting the baby (with doctor approval of course). However, the closer you get to the delivery date, the more likely it is to be medically advised not to have sex in the first place. The first two trimesters, you're generally good. Later on, though, couples should probably abstain from vaginal sex.

Not really. Eating "fatty" foods or even foods that are high in vitamins will only make your boobs grow by making the rest of you grow too. So unless you want to be fat, you're pretty much stuck with the bust you have short of plastic surgery.

i have heard different things and i could use some good strong opinions (not flames, dont leave me bruised and battered) on bisexuality from a christian standpoint. i fear i may actually have to read the WHOLE Bible (LONG!) to form my own opinion to be honest. i just know alot of ppl interpret the Bible differently.

Heya.
There are six Bible passages that deal with homosexual behaviour. BIsexuality isn't mentioned specifically, however. I'd also like to point out that homosexuality as we understand it today was never mentioned in the Bible. Homosexuality, as defined by a person who is SOLELY ATTRACTED TO ONES OWN GENDER, is never mentioned. This idea--that boys can only like boys and girls only like girls--was almost "created" in the 19th century. Before that, homosexual behaviour was only seen as behavior and the idea that people could prefer their own gender wasn't really understood.
The legitimacy of the six Bible passages is in dispute though. There are many homosexual (and bisexual) people who believe that God doesn't have anything negative to say about homosexuality. Sodom and Gomorrah is the first "mention", though that story has been interpreted in various ways. Leviticus, the most popular verse, is found in the book that also says that if a woman commits adultery, we should stone her and that wearing mixed fabrics are a sin...most of the rules there are archaic and out of date and no one lives by them. Christians believe that they were freed from the rules of Leviticus when Jesus died.

Anyway. Remember, Jesus never said homosexual behavior was wrong. And if it was SUCH AN ISSUE, I'm sure he would have mentioned it. He was much more concerned about loving your neighbor, loving God and serving the Lord. The Bible talks most about MONEY and what you do with it, funnily enough. Ironic as some of the most gay-hating Christians are rich...and donating only a small percent of their money to the poor.

Hey. I don't know how much I can help you just by typing in a little box, but I had a lot of problems a few years back with wanting to kill myself. For a long time I thought suicide was the only solution...but I never did kill myself.
It's not worth it. You know how the good times, when everything is working out and life is WONDERFUL have to end? Well, by that same card, the bad times when life sucks and the world sucks and everything seems shot to hell...only last so long. Depression seems like it takes over your life, and it really does. It's a shitty place to be...but it's not forever. You can get help. I promise you.
Because you posted here, I assume you're scaring yourself and you want some type of help. Could you talk to a parent or friend? If you could go to see a therapist or someone or and see if you could get on anti-depressants...well, it's not 100% going to make everything better immediately...but with hard work, you can make it through.
Your life isn't the only one that you affect. Killing yourself will hurt the people your close to. There's a statistic somewhere that says at least 7 people are DEEPLY affected by the suicide of someone around them. It's the type of thing that can seriously give another person a mental health problem. So if you don't think you're worth living for (and you ARE; trust me) then don't kill yourself because you'll be hurting the people around you so much.
There IS a way out of depression. I promise. Have you tried calling 1.800.SUICIDE? It's a volunteer organization, and you can call whenever, and someone will talk to you about your problems...no matter the time. They can't give advice and they're no substitute for a therapist, but they can listen and sometimes it feels better to talk about it.
Suicide isn't a good choice. You're beautiful. Just for being. Every day you're alive. You're existing and being brave making it through the day. You CAN do it. Take care of yourself.

Very, very unlikely. Most pregnancy tests are only valid AFTER your 1st missed period...and there's STILL some ambiguity even then.
If your friend doesn't want to be pregnant, she can *still* take the Morning After Pill...some work up to 72 hours after intercourse. Your friend should also pay attention to what time of the month it was when she was having sex...at certain stages of your period, you have more of a chance of becoming pregnant than others.
I *doubt* knows if she's pregnant yet. She MIGHT have gotten a false alarm, but if you'll pardon my rudeness, I know a lot of girls that have claimed to be pregnant for attention. I'd take it with a grain of salt. If she really did engage in unprotected sex, she COULD be pregnant. But she a) isn't going to be displaying signs yet and b) shouldn't know yet anyway.

CROP - part of the digestive system where food can be stored
GIZZARD - part of the digestive system where food is grounded into smaller pieces
The digestive track of an earthworm goes pharynx-crop-gizzard. So it stores food in the CROP (kinda like our stomach) and then grinds it up into smaller pieces in the gizzard.
Here are the official definitions for closed and open circulatory systems.
OPEN CIRC SYSTEM - system in which blood is not always contained within a network of blood vessels.
CLOSED CIRC SYSTEM - system in which blood is contained in a network of blood vessels.
Most advanced animals have a CLOSED CIRC SYSTEM because it allows blood to be transferred through the body quicker, allowing for more oxygen to be spread, allowing for the animal to move around more.
mRNA, rRNA and tRNA are more confusing, though, so I'll try to go slow.
mRNA = messenger RNA
rRNA = ribosomal RNA
tRNA = transfer RNA
DNA has to copy itself in order to go through meosis and mitosis. I assume you know what those are...you can message me if you're unsure. DNA replicates by an enzyme (DNA polymerase) that breaks the hydrogen bonds that hold the nitrogen bases together. The process continues until everything has been "unzipped."
DNA is only found in the nucleus and proteins are assembled outside of the nucleus. RNA must copy the DNA strand and carry it outside the nucleus to the rest of the cell.
As enzymes "unzip" the DNA, free RNA nucleotides pair with DNA nucleotides (DNA ADININE-URACIL; THYMINE - RNA ADININE; GUANINE - CYTOSINE) when the base pairing is finished, these *mRNA* break away and leave the nucleus.
Proteins need to be made from the mRNA copy of DNA, so...
The first codon of mRNA attaches the ribosome. Then tRNA molecules with teh correct anti-codon attach to the mRNA strand. The mRNA sidles along the ribosome to the next codon. When the first and second aminio acids are in place, an enzyme forms a bond between them. They continue until a certain code in the mRNA strand stops. This takes place in the rough endoplasmic reticulum.
rRNA is the ribosomal RNA. Ribosomes are made of several dozen proteins.

The paid and permanent accounts cost money, but the sponsored accounts are free--you'll just see ads on LJ and in your journal. It will also mess up your layout if you're using S1 or even some S2 style layouts...and a lot of LJ users don't like ads. But if you've got the proper account type:

I'm a virgin. I thought I would start out with that.

It's completely normal. Society has a double standard--it's okay for guys to do it, but if a girl masturbates or has sex, she's a "slut." It's stupid that girls feel that way and we shouldn't. But so many girls feel that way so it's completely normal.
It's okay to recognize yourself as a sexual being. It's okay to be female and in touch with your sexuality. It's nothing to be ashamed of. Some good sites that made me, personally, feel better about my sexuality is "woman's sexual health" sites. They go through and discuss what's normal for girls and women and how your body works--and how it is nothing to be ashamed of, regardless of public opinion. A good one is www.the-clitoris.com. It's not porn. It's a really, really good site.
Women can be sexual beings. That doesn't mean I'm advocating sex. I'm advocating being comfortable with your vagina, as weird as that sounds. Just know you're female and know the history of being female and know that it is okay for you to be in touch with your sexual side and that it is something you should be proud of having.

It being two years later, I doubt her mother even considers it a major thing. It will be okay. Just have fun and don't let it bother you. And if anyone brings it up, say you're sorry. But it's really not that big of deal, though it's understandable to be nervous.

Having sex with him was illegal. You can't get into any trouble, but he could be charged with statutory rape, which is a crime that will get him listed on-line as a sex offender and punishable by 50 years jail time. Chances are, even if you find this guy he'll deny it and say the baby isn't his. Spare yourself the heartache. This is going to hurt enough as it is.
You really have to tell your parents. I know this is a horrible, scary thing. I know you must be scared to death right now. I understand--I had a scare like this once, which luckly was only a scare and I was so freaked out. But trust me. Once you get it out and tell your parents and own up to what you did, you'll be able to move on with your life.
I don't know what your personal beliefs on the subject are, but you probably shouldn't keep the child. 50% of teen mothers end up on welfare. You'll have a much better life if you can either find a family to raise the child for you or, if you're pro-choice, abort the baby. I wish you the best of luck. You just need to take care of this problem and own up to it. You messed up. It does not mean you're a horrible person. It does not mean you're less than anyone else or a bad child. It means you made a mistake and now, like every other human, you have to deal with the consequences. Maybe you could have a good female friend go with you to tell your parents. Maybe you could write them a letter. Regardless, you have to tell them. They can't legally kick you out of the house. It will be okay.
Take care of yourself and the baby. Remember that smoking anything or drinking and even some pain medication can seriously damage a fetus. Also, DO NOT try a home abortion by drinking an "abortive substance." They can KILL you.

It's not 'what teenagers do' so much as it's what some teenagers do. And just because the masses do it doesn't make it okay. Personally, I think that if you're 14 and you want to have a boyfriend that's okay. It's normal at fourteen to be dating. But I think lying to your parents about it will only cause trust issues. If your parents found out it'd be harder for them to let you have a boyfriend the next time and harder for them to trust you when you want to go out with friends ect.
Instead of hiding a boyfriend, I'd suggest first finding a guy you really like and who likes you. Then, as a friend, take him home to meet your parents, maybe with a group of friends. Make sure to establish with your mom and dad that you're mature and responsible. A good way to do this is by doing your homework or cleaning around the house. Then tell your parents you like him and ask if you can date. Be mature about it and don't cry and scream. Parents are much more likely to listen that way.
Hiding a boyfriend is just going to make them trust you less and that's a bad thing and can impede on future plans. If you're just honest and act mature and present your case (I should have a boyfriend because of a, b and c and I can handle it because I can handle a, b and c) you're more likely to get the freedom you deserve--now and later.

What I did for my ex-boyfriend last year was made him a really nice scrapbook. I took a bunch of old pictures and magazines and bought a small 14 page scrapbook, a really nice one with a heart on the front. I cut words out of the magazines to write him notes and letters and pasted pictures of us and him with things like "I want you" ect next to them. I put some on-line comics in there and on the last page put in a handwritten note saying how much me meant to me. He really liked it. It took a long time and a lot of flipping through magazines for words but it was worth it in the end. They come out looking really nice if you put some time and effort into it and it's a really sweet, personalized gift.
You should spend the day with him also, maybe renting a bunch of stupid Christmas movies like A Charlie Brown Christmas or A Christmas Story and watch those and eat popcorn for a while, maybe go ice skating if you do that near where you live, open presents, bake cookies (heh), make out and just spend time with him. I've always found the best days are spent just hanging with someone aimlessly, talking and watching movies.
I wouldn't buy him something. I know that might not make a lot of sense, but I really think making a gift and personalizing it is much better for someone you're close to. Time and effort says "I care" better than anything expensive from the store does.
It sounds like you really care about your boyfriend a lot. :-) I'm glad.

Okay I'm 13 years old and a female. Yesterday I noticed a small bump on my left breast, near the nipple. It sometimes hurts when I touch it but it also looks somewhat like a pimple. I'm really worried that this could be breast cancer. There is no history in my family of having breast cancer. Do you think it's cancer?

I asked my mother, who's a nurse. She says it's extremely unlikely that it's breast cancer--it normally doesn't happen in people as young as you. It's probably a pimple and should go away in a few days. She also says, though, if you're worried about it and want to make sure, you should go to the doctor. They'll take a look and make sure it's not cancer. It's better to be safe than sorry.
My mom also says Bravo for doing breast self-exams. It's really good to look over your breasts every few months or so no matter what your age is. Doing that can catch breast cancer really early.

That's not a weird question. It's perfectly valid, actually. I've heard a lot of people admit that sometimes some violence in sex turns them on. It's an obession, because it's not culturally acceptable, a lot of people keep quiet about, but I would infer from the amount of rape porn out there a lot of people have a similar obession.
You are not a freak, just a girl with a healthy though unusal fetish.
