thanks, those are really good ideas. and i totally agree...id rather make him something or do something for him than buy him something...for his birthday (it was over the summer) i had been out of town but i kept a journal of the first half of my summer and gave that to him...so im all about sentimental stuff.

Thanks so much. I do love him and don't really want to break up with him, i just need space like you said. He actaully wrote me about it and told me how he hates that we fight so much lately. thanks again that helps so much, I like your way of how I should tell him, you know this part: "Maybe you could start a discussion with him about how you need your space right now and you don't feel like at this stage of your life you don't need a boyfriend. However, you still love and value your friendship with him, so would he consider just being friends for a few months?" that took a lot of weight off my shoulders. Thanks,yet again! Your my hero lol!
