xjerseygirl16 answered Saturday January 14 2006, 7:54 pm: yeah, it's better if you blow dry your hair because it will get out all the moisture and your hair wont curl or become wavy , , it wil make it easier to straighten.
attractive answered Saturday January 14 2006, 7:44 pm: If you want your hair to come out the best possible way that it can then blowdry then straighten because if it dries naturally then you risk the chance of your hair getting all tangled up it will take longer for your whole head to dry and your hair can also dry up because you cant put grease in while its wet but if you blow dry your hair you can oil your scalp make it all silky smooth and shiny then striagnten your hair and style take half the time and comes out much better, and just by blowing your hair dry it is half way straighten you just need to but the flat iron or hot comb which ever one you have on your hair so tnat it may last curl it put your hair rollers on and have a good great look for your hair

Basketball3846 answered Saturday January 14 2006, 5:55 pm: if you want it done fast then you should blow dry it but some people dont like to do that because the blow dryer + the straightner is a lot of damage on your hair and it can fry it. it is much better if you let it naturally dry. janelle<3 answered Saturday January 14 2006, 4:24 pm: oh yes always try to blowdry it before you straighten...it will make your hair softer, less frizzy and your most likely to have it completely dry. [ janelle<3's advice column | Ask janelle<3 A Question ]
KiSSxMYxPEARLS answered Saturday January 14 2006, 3:26 pm: Blow drying your hair BEFORE you straighten it. Because if you straighten your hair while it's still majorly wet, that'll definatley increase you damanging your hair. Plus it'll smell like burnt hair....BAD!
x_mystery answered Saturday January 14 2006, 1:56 pm: If I blow dry my hair before I straighten it, my hair gets all frizzy and its dry and harder to straighten. Its not good for your hair either, its just more heat that is damaging your hair. I take a shower at night and let it air dry while I sleep and straighten it in the morning. It looks a lot smoother and my hair doesn't get so damaged that way. [ x_mystery's advice column | Ask x_mystery A Question ]
FunnyCide answered Saturday January 14 2006, 1:48 pm: It's different for different people.
If I blow-dry my hair, it takes 45 minutes, and it's super, super frizzy and harder to straighten.
To me, it's easier to take a shower earlier in the day (like 6:30PM, 7:00PM-ish) and let my hair dry naturally then straighten it around 10:00 PM; or take a shower whenever and get up an hour earlier and straighten my hair in the morning.
I have a guy friend though who blow-dries his hair; and it makes his look nice. Of course... his doesn't need to be straightened.
I have a female friend who blow-dries her hair and it is straighter and less poofy.
fabulous11 answered Saturday January 14 2006, 12:34 pm: well it doesnt really matter as long as it is fully dry when you go to straighten it. I usually blow dry mine cause then it makes it less frizzy and kinda already straightend. [ fabulous11's advice column | Ask fabulous11 A Question ]
orphans answered Saturday January 14 2006, 12:22 pm: it doesn't really matter either way, but if you blow dry it you're hair isnt as frizzy.
tasuki answered Saturday January 14 2006, 11:40 am: It depends on what kind of hair you have, what your personal preference is, and what it says to do on any products that you're using. For instance, you might have curling gel that says "Let dry." but another time you might use Thermasilk conditioner, which requires the blow dryer. [ tasuki's advice column | Ask tasuki A Question ]
