you can do a myspace search of her name and then if she has a myspace you can contact her through there or see if she has her screen name or email on her page.

You can try a buddy search on AIM, but that's probably not going to work. The problem is that you don't have to put that information in. Try doing a friend search on other things too, like myspace or xanga. You have to put a name in for these and most people do put their real names. If you need help with this, like you don't know where to go or something let me know and I'll help you out. I hope you find your friend, I know exactly how you feel. Good luck! :)

Most people don't like to list their names or anything when they sign up for AIM (or whatever instant messenger you use), but you could try to do a search for her with AIM. I think you have to know her e-mail address for it, and if you knew that then you could just contact her, but you might be able to type in her full name and get a result if she lists herself. If she has a myspace or a livejournal or something like that you could contact her through that, or if you know her regular address you can send her a letter. If you get really desperate you could go to google and look up her name, you just might find something.

I think it's gonna be hard, though.

Well, on AIM, you could go to People on the top of your list, then down to find a buddy! & then you pick which choice out of common interest, Email address, or name you can find her new screenname.
it doesn't work sometimes, depending on if the person filled out the information.
but you could also around and see if any one has kept in touch with her.
it might also be that she didnt get a new screenname, she just is grounded from the computer or its not working for a while :)
