advice
i cant cope. My mom use to be an alcoholic my dad use to beat my mom my mom us when she was drunk adn now i love to get drunk because ut gets rid of my troubles and i dont know where to start. I looked afta my sis and mbro when i was 9 and now my moms clean and moved out of my dads house i dont know where start i love my drink but dont want to go the same way as my mom. I hold a chip on my shoulder but dont quite know to who and dont know wot to do about it. Please please help. Vicki x
well, CONGRATULATIONS! the first step is admitence, there are so many other ways to get rid of your troubles! you cant drink them away, drinking makes you relly on something, and you dont need to. you should rely on your friends and other family members. drinking will, indeed, kill you, it destroys your liver. and it impares your judgement, if you dont want to be like your mom and you really want to stop, then you have all of the power in the world to stop, but if you cant, then you dont truly want to, you MUST truly and totaly want to stop, for you to be able to!

I want to open my own bar ( u know be the owner of it ) well i dont really know how to, do i have to go to college? about how much will it cost, how do i even start doing it? how do i order the drinks and that, where would i get it from? how would paying my bills work? you know stuff like that, how buisness run and how to start them stuff like that.
Any advice would be great!

This boy & I have been flirting/messsing with eachother all school year now. Everyone can tell we like eachother but neither of us will make a serious move. I know he won't because his friends will tease and he's a little shy/immature. I'm afraid of rejection & being teased. It's the end of the year and this boy is one in a million, I like him very much. What can I do to let him know being friends isn't enough and over the summer I want to see him?
well, just say "hey, we have to hang out this summer!!" and like in a friendly way, then give him your number, and ask him for yours!! thats what i would do! :) i was always afriad of rejection too, and stuff, so i had a hard time, like yourself, and i decided to ask this guy for his screen name, after chatting with him everyweekend at a skate place where we both went, and this guy just so happened to like me too, and he is my amazing boyfriend of a year and 4 months. dont be worried, the worst thing that can happen is him say no, you know, the things that are most regreted in life are the things that you dont say. you should just go ahead, and take a chance, life is too short not to take chances, and, hey, if you dont ask, you'll never know what might have been! dont wait unitl its too late! :)

i'm 13 and i have never had a boyfriend because i've always been kinda shy. i'm not ugly or anything like that so how to i get a boy to notice me?
truthfully, just talk to them and be friends, someone who isnt all, "ooh go out with me! am i pretty? do i look okay? wanna be best friends?" let them come to you, just socialize, and be friendly, and make them want to talk to you, dont tell them your whole life story, when you are done talking to you, you want them to be like, "wow she is really interesting, i cant wait to talk to her again, and find out more about her" dont make it so they already know everything, guys like a challenge!!

i have a problem; I need to loose 10 pounds around my wiast, arms, and legs. does any one know any exercising routines besides doing sit-ups?

well, actually, just eating healthier, and like you said, really just running, or walking, swimming, lifting weights, crunches or sit ups, also, bike riding and roller blading will help your legs, and roller blading will also help your tuhsie! :) also, just a little tip, its best to exercize in the morning, its a great start to your day! if you exercize at night, it wakes you up, as it does in the morning, and then you have a really hard time sleeping, or dont sleep well!

I have cuts up my nose.. im not sure how but probably becuase i kept picking my nose everymorning because I had a bag cold i didnt want to go to school with giant greenies hanging out my nose! Now my nose feels like ive been blowing it for ages you know that feeling right? But how do i make my cuts up my nose heal? BEcuase you cant really put any creams up there to stop them hurting and to heal up really.. so ya any help guys sorry if you find it sick and that you find nose picking is sick but we all do it and its better than walking around with a clogged up nose and yes i do pick my nose AT HOME in PRIVARTE lol im not THAT sick thanks x
uh, you can put vasilline up there! :) it works, i know people that use that so their noes doesnt get cuts, and it keeps it moist to prevent them from getting nose bleeds. also, use the loation tissues. they help lots! :)

Im a teenager and I have scoliosis and Im under the impression that exercise will help. If someone out there has information about phyisical therapy for scoliosis please take a minuet to answer my question. thanks!
I know that swimming helps, and i think maybe yoga, but im not sure on the yoga, but i am 100% sure on the swimming, some of my friends have scoliosis!
also, besides swimming, check with your doctor for some more exercizes, and if they are right for you, to be sure that the things that you are doing will help you and your degree of scoliosis.

I think i'm in love with my friends sister, shes nine months older than me, and I just have been crazy about her for months! I want to be around her all the time, but the thing is there is no way that she could feel anything other than an okay friendship towards me, Its really frustrating... Any suggestions on trying to get her to like me back?
well, for one, just be yourself! and tell her how you feel! and then go with whatever she says, if she says yes, dont get tooo excited, it may freak her out! and if she says no, go with it, and be cool with it, and then just keep going on being yourself, and acting normal, and then maybe a few months later, ask her if she wnats to go out for ice cream or something!

how early can you tell if you are pregnant? I am 16 and i am on the patch, i got off my regular schedule of the patch a month ago or so. The past three days i have had nausia and stomach aches, and they feel different than i have ever had. I also just have a gut feeling i might be pregnant, i jsut bought a pregnancy test tonight, and i plan on takeing it toamrrow morning. IT is one of those 5 days before your missed period, and today is fri and i should be getting my period on sun,mon, or tues. I can't wait though, im really nervous. and i am wondering if it does come out negative tomarrow, if it could be wrong just because of how early it is?
now also, do i tell the guy i'm sleeping with? because i am afraid he will not like me ne more, and i am pretty sprung off of him right now. i mean i know that if i am pregnant its early and i could probably take a pill, but either way i am not haveing a baby so is there even a need to let him know? he is jsut gunna get all worked up about it and upset, and he ahs a lot going on right now as it is.
I duno about the first half, because I have never experienced anything like that, nor have any of my friends. the second part, you should tell him, and if he freaks, you probably shouldnt be sleeping with him!

I have horrible handwriting.It is realy hard to read it.Once I got sent to the principal just because of my handwriting.My teacher said I should go to a doctor.I went for a dance class and you had to bend your thumb and keep your other fingers flat.I ended up bending all my fingers.I was the only one who could not do that.My mother will not take me to a doctor,she says we'll get laughed out of his clinic.Some times even I can't read my hand writing.I am 13/f.

I personally do no know of anything that is wrong, and I think that your teachers are making a big deal out of nothing. There will always be people who cannot write neat! Im 15/f and sometimes my hand writing is horrible, so is some of my friends' and some guys my age 15-16! its nothing to worry about! :)

my name is Courtney and im 16. I have a boyfriend who i really love but he is so jealouse. At first I was flattered beacause I thought he must have really liked me but its scary now! Yesterday was the last day of school for summer and he celebrated by getting sent off to the police station by beating the crap out of one of my guy friends for having his arm on my shoulder! Is it ok that I still love him? Am I weird? Should I stop talking to him? How though? Im so confused. That wasnt the first fight he has been in bcuz of me and he is very strong and really hurts people.
well, it sounds like he is very protective of you, and my boyfriend is too. he wouldnt ever hurt anyone,unless they laied a hand on me or him. your boyfreind sounds like he wants you to be safe, and that he really cares about you, so I think that I would still Love him too. Maybe you should talk to him about it, if there is something that you dont like.

I can't apply eyeliner on the top lid for the life of me!
I get it perfect on one lid and the other lid is really bad.
I suppose I just need to get used to it like with my bottom lid (I can put that on like second nature now)

well does drinking green tea and water help you loose weight? i know green tea is suppose to speed up ur matabolism. Would it make me really feel full before eating?
drinking water when your hungry, im not talking meals, but snacks, will help, and when you drink water in place of other things like soda.
