I can't apply eyeliner on the top lid for the life of me!
I get it perfect on one lid and the other lid is really bad.
I suppose I just need to get used to it like with my bottom lid (I can put that on like second nature now)
Any tips though?

then hold the pencil like you do for your bottom lid and just put it on the outside half of your top lid :)
(if your a lefty- just do the opposite)
good luck- [ MHScutie87's advice column | Ask MHScutie87 A Question ]

Also, you could dampen the end of a very fine brush, and place it in some eyeshadow, and use that as eyeliner. No one will even notice the difference. Mostly, you just have to practice.. it doesn't come naturally to everyone. Goodluck.
Hope I helped

Go buy baked eyeshadow, black, whever color you want to use. Buy and Eyeliner brush, then get the eyeliner brush wet, and in turn use it to make some of the eyeshadow wet. Then use the brush and just slide it over your eyelashes, right on the lid. It takes a bit of concentration the first time but it gets easier. And I think its so much easier than pencil eyeliner. :) [ orphans's advice column | Ask orphans A Question ]
Mackenzie answered Thursday May 26 2005, 9:34 am: When it comes to liquid eyelineR oR pencil eyelineR, it's just a peRsonal pRefeRence. HoweveR, if you ask... chances aRe that most people will tell you that pencil is a betteR choice. It's a gReat staRt foR a beginneR who is just getting used to it. If you mess up, pencil is A WHOLE LOT easieR to clean up and Re-do than liquid would be. And if you plan on caRRying it aRound in a puRse oR pocket.. you also face a chance that the liquid may Ruin [though I don't suggest caRRying eyelineR in youR pocket]. And if you do mess it up, just take a tissue and slowly Run it along the Rim of youR eyelid.. it'll come Right up. Now, the desiRed effect of eyelineR is to cReate the illusion of daRkness just above the lashline to enhance the look of the lashes. To apply it, gently hold youR eyelid down, and staRt at the inneR paRt of the lid [closest to youR nose]. Then just simply dRaw a thin line smoothly and evenly along the uppeR lid, getting as close to the lashes as possible. Also, make shoRe you dRaw the line all the way to the outside coRneR. It will pRobably take some pRactice -- it took me a while at fiRst too... now I have it down incRedibly well. And now foR the pRoducts... peRsonally, I think the two best bRands of eyelineR out theRe aRe "MeRyl NoRman" and "Beautique". "MeRyl NoRman", which can only be puRchased at "The MeRyl NoRman Cosmetic Studios", is pRicey [typically $8.50 - $15.00], but it REALLY IS good stuff. It goes on wondeRfully, and stays on all day!!! On the otheR hand... I happen to think that "Beautique" is INCREDIBLE, howeveR, I've ONLY seen "Beautique" at "Sally's". And "Beautique" is only .99 cents. TRUST ME.. I would NEVER EVER EVER buy cRap make up!!! I get only the best, so please, please, please, please DON'T let this dollaR pRice thRow you off - you'd be cheating youRself out of the best pRoduct out theRe!! I'd *PREFER* "Beautique" out of ANY otheR bRand of eyelineR!! I could easily go out and buy a $15.00 pencil, but I'd RATHER get "Beautique"! "Beautique" glides on smoothly and REALLY LASTS ALLLLL DAY!!! I CAN NOT pRomote this item enough!! And if you still have doubts... foR only .99 cents.. it's woRth a shot!! Goodluck!! I hope I helped!! =D [ Mackenzie's advice column | Ask Mackenzie A Question ]
